A list of puns related to "Startup neutron source"
Might be the wrong sub, let me know if so
So I was reading about neutron stars, and theoretically they would have a massive and very strong magnetic field. Do you guys think it would be feasible to have a spaceship with massive copper (or other conductor) windings around it, which could use a neutron star as a massive energy source? It could fall into orbit around the star, and its orbit would provide the motion, so it would effectively be like a massive generator. This could either be used as a power source for the ship - it hopping between neutron stars and being able to use basically any sci-fi FTL way of movement since it would have essentially infinite power, if it needed more it could just fall into a tighter orbit where it would spin faster - or as a permanent power source with a satellite constellation of coils interconnected via lasers or other wireless energy transfer. Just thought this was a cool idea that I haven't seen anyone think of before.

Itβs called the God Syndrome,β says a leading founder of a startup, who has known BharatPe cofounder Ashneer Grover for over a decade. βWhat happens is that whatever they (founders) want should happen β and it does (happen) many times. But when it doesnβt, it comes out as extreme anger and frustration.β¦

Indiaβs Most Valuable Startup Byjuβs in Talks to Go Public Via SPAC Deal:
The online education providerΒ Byjuβs, Indiaβs most valuable startup, is in advanced discussions to go public through a merger with one of Churchill Capitalβs special-purpose acquisition companies, according to people familiar with the matter.
The startup held talks with several potential SPAC partners and is farthest along in working out an agreement with Michael Kleinβs Churchill Capital, said the people, asking not to be named discussing private matters. Churchill Capital VII raised more than $1.3 billion in an offering in February and trades on the New York Stock Exchange.
Under the preliminary terms discussed, Byjuβs would raise a total of about $4 billion and seek a valuation of about $48 billion, the people said. The startup was valued atΒ $21 billion, according to market research firm CB Insights.
While an announcement could come as soon as January, the negotiations are not final. Byjuβs or Churchill could still opt out of such a deal, and Byjuβs could consider an IPO in India next year, the people said.
The startup had earlier discussed a SPAC merger with Michael DellβsΒ MSD Acquisition Corp. and Altimeter Capital Management, one of the people said. India-headquartered companies canβt go public through conventional intitial public offerings in the U.S. under the countryβsΒ current regulations.
Byjuβs declined to comment. Churchill didnβt immediately respond to requests for comment.
The Bangalore-headquartered company, founded and led by former teacher Byju Raveendran, provides K-12 lessons and video material to millions of Indians studying for the countryβs competitive engineering and medical entrance exams. It also provides one-to-one coding, math and reading classes and material to students in countries in North America, the Middle East and Latin America.
ByjuβsΒ had been aimingΒ to file preliminary documents for a traditional initial public offering as soon as the second quarter of 2022 and was also considering a SPAC merger, Bloomberg News reported in September. That had been an acceleration of earlier plans to go public in 12 to 24 months. The startup and its bankers had discussed a valuation of $40 billion to $50 billion, although the final determination would depend on financial results and investor demand, people familiar with the matter said a

For all my nerds out there
It is my understanding that Pu-239 does not release neutrons throughout its decay chain. So what would have been the neutron source to initiate the fission of Pu-239 in the Demon Core experiments?
So the idea behind the NSWR (nuclear salt water rocket) is to have a mix of water and fission fuel like uranium or plutonium, which readily goes critical unless it's properly stored in a boron lined tank. So this is one of those technologies that really wants to explode and we have to actively put in effort to stop it from exploding at any given time until we want it too. Rather risky. Is there a way to flip that, to make it safe until we actively put in effort to make it explode? Could we, for instance, make a fuel that is safe to sit around and only goes critical when we introduce neutrons from an active source, such as a Farnsworth Fusor? Turn off the fusor and the whole engine shuts down.

Before starting the game, I verify that my audio source is set to Oculus Virtual Audio Device. However, each time I start the game for the first time my audio source gets reset to my headphones. I also have a sound bar (default device) but it never resets to the sound bar, only the headphones.
I have to get all the way to the Skyrim main menu, then quit to desktop, once again set the audio source to OVAD, restart the game. From then on, the audio setting is fine no matter how many times I quit to desktop and go back in.
This is not a game breaker obviously, but it is an annoyance mostly since I have an ENB which adds about 30 seconds to startup. Any suggestions? Thanks!
Obviously with current technology this task is basically impossible, we donβt even have viable technology to build any kind of megastructures. However, could humanity one day in the far future build a megastructure similar to a Dyson Sphere (or swarm), and harness the power of a Neutron Star? (Magnetar in this case)
Just so I understand the process of the origin of neutron stars correctly, and overly simplify the process: when a larger star has its hydrogen exhausted, gravity wins the balance and tightens the core, forcing helium to fuse into heavier elements, until it reaches iron. Iron has no energy to give, so the core implodes in a supernova explosion. If gravity is too overwhelming, it creates a black hole. If the Star is small enough to fight gravity so that it doesnβt collapse into a black hole, it becomes a neutron Star. Newly formed neutron stars can start off as Magnetars.
Iβve learned that Magnetars can spin many times per second, and have an electromagnetic field a thousand trillion times stronger than earthβs. Not only is the neutron star extremely energetic, but it spews tons of radiation through its poles (correct?). Would it even be possible to capture this radiation and use it as energy? Would a Dyson Sphere (or swarm) be more efficient?
Sorry if my question(s) makes no logical sense or is plain stupid. Iβm trying my best to wrap my head around these questions I have
