I am trying to make spur gears for a project I want to 3d print and I know how many teeth I need on each gear, but no matter what design guide I use, it won’t let me change how many teeth the second gear has. Any help would be appreciated as I only have a basic understanding of inventor from my high school classes. Thanks.
Can I use a 32p pinion with a 37/38p spur?
Last week, the spur gear on my yokomo yd2s was broken and needed a replacement, but I cant seem to find an aluminum upgraded one. Is there some sort of magic spur gear store that I am missing? The spec of the spur gear is 84T 48P.
tooth count big gear - 34 small gear - 12
diameter big gear - 34mm small gear 10 mm
thickness big gear 2 mm small gear 2 mm
i think its ether metal or steel, it is magnetized, its from a automatic litter box, a new litter box costs about 100 dollars, so obviously i want to Keep the part cost pretty low, id be willing to spend between 20 to 30 dollars, i would also like to eventually buy duplicates of the other gears so next time i can just switch out broken gears myself, ill include some pics of the gear, im pretty sure my measurements are correct but i included pics with a measuring tape next to it so you can verify my measurements, also please let me know if im missing any information, i know i need get the bore size, but i can tell you it sits in a very small spindle

I'm trying to draw an assembly of a spur gear and pinion. I am supposed to omit the gear teeth in the section view, but I'm unsure how to do that. With drawings of a single gear, I've just rotated the teeth so that the dedendum is what is sectioned, but in an assembly that's not possible.
Does anyone know how to do this or have any suggestions?
