A list of puns related to "Specific ultraviolet absorbance"
I want to have a look at protein-protein interaction but i want to try and not use a pull-down assay ( we can't afford the reagents atm).
I get fluorescence idea where something with a lot of conjugations absorbs light at longer wavelength and then emits light at lower wavelength. Why aren't the absorbance and emission same? Where does energy stay after being absorbed that accounts for difference with emission
17m. I have a younger sister and she seems very affected by my motherβs behavior. My mother doesnβt understand that her words can hurt another person. It drains the energy and life out of us. I dont know what to do.
I'm making a high school project on algae growth in various pH settings. I am measuring absorbance using a spectrophotometer, but I fail to understand how to convert these measurements to optical density. Could anyone explain what I should do in the simplest terms possible? All sources on the internet seem to be too complicated for my level of expertise. It would help me a lot
To clarify, spectroscopy calibration curves
Frontier vegetable broth powder w/ corn syrup solids as 1st ingredient: The powder is very fine and slightly sticky. Since sugar is not supposed to be stored with an O2 absorber - I'm not positive what to do here.
Nutritional yeast flakes: Seeing lots of info on yeast storage (no O2 absorber) but only one source on nutritional yeast specifically (yes O2 absorber).
Any advice, opinions or anecdotes would be greatly appreciated!
Okay so I found out something that I didn't know. Maybe I had a blond moment but I thought I would share.
I know a lot of us have to drink a booty load of water and salt. It can be hard. Personally, some of my vitamins are low. My body doesn't like to absorb/make Carnitine for example. (Carnitine is a whole other issue I'm trying to figure out)
Anyway, I know I'm lactose sensitive, but I didn't really think anything of it. Then I got alittle stoned the other night to help with a pain flair. So I ate some chocolate chip cookies with a glass of milk. That was a mistake. (Really though delta 8 has helped me an incredible undescribable amount but I digress)
So naturally I paid for the milk in the usual way that you don't need me to discribe. This was my first obvious lactose problem in awhile so I went researching... and did you know that lactose intolerance causes water to not be absorbed properly.
I mean thats obvious when you think about it. But lots of vitamins and minerals are water soluble like salt.
So if you are supposed to drink lots of water and have a high salt intake, maybe try avoiding dairy. Anyway thanks listening.
Is that possible if most gases of volcanoes in fictional planet is co2, h2, o2 etc?
I cannot figure out why path length isn't included in this calculation for the correct answer for absorbance. I'm sure it's simple but if someone could explain that would be awesome!
Question: What is the approximate concentration of reaction product in a solution that has an absorbance of 0.7 at pH 6.0?
Answer: Based on the equation AΒ =Β Ξ΅bc given in the passage, the concentration c is the absorbance A divided by the absorptivity Ξ΅ in a 1 cm path length cell. 0.7 divided by approximately 1400 gives 500 ΞΌM.
The passage also includes a table where the 1400 number is pulled from. Why is the number .7/1400 instead of .7/(1400 x .01 Meters)? Thank you in advance!
Another idea since the one drawback to diy is resale value is to experiment with really weird stuff like just filling the inside of a speaker with black widow webs or 2 transducers on two angled ABRs to dither any reflections from causing ring distortion.
I'm just playing with modding some minimus 7s and am trying to get them to sound as fast and clean as possible.
I've seen people try dynamat, I guess I hear all the time natural wool is best but how about other natural fibers like flax, silk fiber, or a nylon stuffed full of goose down?
is there anyone who's done any experimented on what materials work the best?
I feel like the most obvious way to deal with ringing would be a mass loaded abr or two that would soak and trap the sound naturally or even just for kicks adding some transducers to it to actually directly manipulate the resonance inside the box from the outside.
Anyone ever seen this applied, it seems like it would be something fun to play with, would it be worth trying? and if so would you guys wanna see a video of the testing?
