A list of puns related to "Sortie number"
And if so, has anyone figured out how many it takes to trigger?
The plan was simple. Send two platoons of infantry through the expansive cave network that sat just beneath the planetβs surface and then pop up behind one of the Alliance Regiments that had recently set up outside the Nexus.
At the same time, the Terran Firstβs tank and Exo companies would sortie out to take the fight to them. Caught out, in the open ground outside the mining nexus where the tanks held the advantage, the Edixi regiment would be pincered between the two forces and destroyed - or otherwise rendered combat inoperable. At which point, both attacking forces would retreat before the other two Alliance Regimentβs that maintained the current cordon around the Nexus were able to arrive to intervene.
A simple plan that had so many points of failure that Jason genuinely wondered how it hadnβt been shot down in the briefing room.
Oh yeah, our colonelβs determined to go out in a blaze of glory, he thought as he languidly looked over the small flotilla of boats that made up the infantry component of βUnderground Attack Group Oneβ.
Which seemed a fairly ridiculous title to him, given that Underground Attack Group One was the only Underground Attack Group.
Expansive or not, their came a point with tunnels where more bodies would simply get in the way. And according to Puta, that point was exactly two platoons worth of men and women.
Personally, he thought the number to be a tad small given what they were intended for, but he hadnβt been asked his opinion. The only thing heβd been asked was if he thought it might be possible to get the Ufrianβs onboard to help navigate the underground world.
And being the naΓ―ve idiot he was, heβd said yes.
To be fair, heβd thought theyβd been spitballing ideas for a possible avenue of retreat β not attack β but that scrap of knowledge proved precious little comfort to him now. Not now that he was sat in a boat, who knew how far underground, and set to attack a much larger and better equipped force.
Oh yeah, and Iβll probably be responsible for getting those Ufrian guides we brought with us killed. He thought grimly. Because some higher power thought it would be deliciously ironic for me to be responsible for getting them killed in a war that has nothing to do with them while I in turn am about to be killed in an alien war that I have nothing to do with.
To be fair, heβd had the feeling that the Ufrian Chiefess had been less than enthused about risking her people herself. Unfortunately for her, and his

First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
Update 30.9.0: Prime Resurgence
A Prime Resurgence is upon usβ¦
Coming November 16 for a limited time, we are launching Prime Resurgence! This event provides Tenno with a schedule of Vaulted Prime releases. The impending War grows near day by day, Tenno. A new (yet familiar face to some?), Varzia Dax, has an opportunity to fortify your Arsenal with Prime items that have long been Vaulted.
We first announced that we are looking at running a Prime Vault event of sorts on Devstream 156 - and Prime Resurgence is just that! It is our first stab at offering an alternative to Prime Vault: A one-stop shop to gain access to Vaulted Prime content and Relics with a fully transparent schedule to allow players time to plan.
Varzia, a Dax from the Old War, will appear in Marooβs Bazaar November 16th on all Platforms with a slew of Prime goods for you to obtain. You can either purchase Relics from her Wares with Aya (free path) or gain instant access to Prime items and bundles with Regal Aya (purchase path).
What are Aya and Regal Aya?
These are the currencies that are used to purchase items from Varzia!
Aya is an earned currency that is your free path to gaining Prime items through the in-game Relic system. It is a resource that is exchanged for Void Relics and other non-premium items available in Varziaβs wares. Aya is found in Missions (The Void or Bounties) or has a chance of appearing in Relic Packs available for purchase in the Market for Platinum or Syndicate Offerings for Standing.
Regal Aya is a premium currency (similar to Platinum, but not tradeable) that gives you instant access to Prime Warframes, Weapons, Accessories, and Bundles available in Varziaβs wares. It can be purchased in the Market or online storefronts.
We have an extremely thorough Dev Workshop / FAQ explaining how this Event came to be, including the introduction of Regal Aya. Simply put, The Prime Vault program has undergone many changes over the years, all driven by player feedback and requests.
The theme over these changes has been to offer more choice and quicker access to Vaulted Prime rotations. Which is where Prime Resurgence comes in. Please read our Dev Workshop for more information, otherwise enjoy the largest Prime Vault opening of all-time, with a significantly s

I'm surprised it hasn't decade.
So I had a longer discussion with a friend about Sorties. We do them daily together if they aren't too annoying (e.g. Vay Hek Assassination with Elemental Enhancement); but comparing the rewards to standard missions, we feel like Sorties should be brought up to DE's attention:
You mainly run Sorties for Rivens. Although this is a common reward, I feel like you don't often get them. The actual common reward is by far the Anasa Sculpture. You get 3450 Endo by using 3 Cyan and two Amber stars. Then there's also 4000 Endo as an uncommon reward. And THEN there are more efficient ways to obtain Endo, most widespread the Steel Path Arena. Players who haven't unlocked it yet can get Endo from selling Railjack drops, Mods, Arbitrations etc. There are by far better ways to obtain Endo.
Same with Kuva. 6000 Kuva upon completion isn't even two rolls. And again, it's faster to obtain Kuva elsewhere (Kuva Flood, trading Steel Essence, trading Vitus Essence, etc.; but the whole Kuva thing is another topic tbh.)
Spending so much time on Sorties (depending on the mission of course) compared to the other missions for rewards that can be obtained elsewhere (and often WAY FASTER) is simply not worth it. I feel like DE should either remove those rewards completely, or at least increase the amount to a substantial number. After all, it's only availabe once per day - it should be somewhat rewarding, should it not?
On that note, we also had the idea of a Steel Path Sortie; either by the concept of the known Steel Path, or something completely different:
What about a Sortie that let's you choose multiple modifiers out of a randomized pool, with each increasing the reward (e.g. you get three modifiers to choose from, and can go with either one or all three). I also wouldn't mind having new modifiers added in this category (e.g. Spy mission without using a Stealth Frame, Mobile Defense without Frost/Limbo etc.).
But all of this is simply what we had in mind. Do you have other - better alternatives? Or do you think Sorties should actually stay the way they are now?
For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
I said "hey look, an escaPEA"
No one near me but it didn't half make me laugh for a good hour or so!
Edit: I can't believe how much this has blown up. Thank you everyone I've had a blast reading through the replies π
It really does, I swear!
TLDR: I want to build Trinity to solo pretty much everything :D at MR11, lol
As the title says I plan to build "Critrinity" since I like the idea of having a versatile frame.
Happy new year to y'all and may your wishes and dreams come true
[Minor spoilers ahead if you choose to reveal them]
To start of, I'm quite new to warframe. I'm a few week old baby, but I feel like I've got a hang of certain things; don't get me wrong I know I have miles and miles of learning to do, but it's a start.
Here's what I know so far:
I'm in the process of ranking The Perrin Sequence standing for a mod called "Champion's Blessings" which IIRC is the mod you need for DPS Trinity, since it stacks her crit chance based on the amount of healing she does.
I have a mod called "Combat Discipline" on her right now, which I've seen people say works REALLY well on her for the dps build, but I'm not too sure. Would love it if someone could elaborate more on this
I also know that you will barely use her numer 1 skill, and you will mainly use her 2nd and 4th skill for the healing/dps build as far as I know. And you just use her number 3 skill for "status immunity?"
What I DO NOT know and would appriciate any and all help tremendously
I'm not sure what mods would be perfect to pair with the two mods mentioned as earlier and how many times I should forma her to get the proper build going. I've been watching a few videos on "Crittrinity" and generally most of them say kind of the same thing in regards to Combat discipline and Champions blessings, but then they each have different mod variations alongside that and that's what is confusing me:
I would also like to know what weapon and companion would be ideal to run alongside her for decent damage output potential
I say decent and not maxium, as I know for a fact I will NOT be able to do maxium damage output early game, since I do not have the arcanes/focus schools unlocked for that nor the weapon or companions.
===========================
What I do have and what I would like to achieve:
==================================
I'm currently set on the Zenurik focus school with Energy Pulse and Energizing dash at max rank (side note: How exactly does energizing dash work?)
Please correct me if I'm wrong, but those two ranks on Zenurik should be enough for now right and I can start working on another school that would benefit DPS Trinity more, or should totally max out each school fist then go to

Pilot on me!!
Nothing, he was gladiator.
I've been doing Sorties for over a year and have different niche builds for any combination of Sortie challenge. However, today I decided to try to change things up and use different warframes and abilities, and just create new weapon builds on the spot for each Sortie. But in doing so I realized that even after hundreds of hours of doing Sorties I still don't know what the actual effect of many of the Sortie modifiers are. What's more, when I ask around and check the wiki and the forums, no one has any idea.
Like, take an Elemental Resistance Sortie, how much resistance are we talking? I mean obviously, in Elemental Resistance Sorties I'll take an IPS heavy weapon like the Tigris Prime, and I'll put on the appropriate IPS damage mod like Sweeping Serration in place of my usual Elemental mods. But there is still much up to debate with the last few mod slots, and it all depends on just how strong the modifiers are in the Sortie tables.
I mean, I know it's significant, but how does no one know the exact numbers? Is it a 40% reduction in elemental damage done, or is it closer to a 99% reduction? It it worth it to give up 1000 Elemental dps on a weapon in order to gain just 50 physical dps? How about trading 10,000 elemental damage just for +40% status chance (but no change to your physical damage!) Surely people are curious over these answers? How how we gone over a year without anyone finding out the actual numbers of the Sortie modifiers? People will spend hours tweaking their weapon builds and doing the math to find out how to get just 1-2% more damage, but there is no apparent general consensus on the massive damage modifiers in Sorties?
Anyway, my point being, anyone have any actual numbers or even a vague sense of what these actual percentage resistances are?
Dad jokes are supposed to be jokes you can tell a kid and they will understand it and find it funny.
This sub is mostly just NSFW puns now.
If it needs a NSFW tag it's not a dad joke. There should just be a NSFW puns subreddit for that.
Edit* I'm not replying any longer and turning off notifications but to all those that say "no one cares", there sure are a lot of you arguing about it. Maybe I'm wrong but you people don't need to be rude about it. If you really don't care, don't comment.
When I got home, they were still there.
What did 0 say to 8 ?

So What did 3 say to 8 ?

I won't be doing that today!
