A list of puns related to "Sony SLT camera"
I'm about to buy the Sony Alpha-77, and want to know if there are some things i need to look out for, and be carfull with and what other peoples experience with it are. But the most important question is it any good?
I'm a totally camera newbie guys and girls, and I've watched a few video reviews, but being that the camera is 5-6 years old now, do you think it would still be serviceable today?
For reference I only plan to use it to take kick-ass Instagram photos (not really that intent on using it for video purposes)
The kit comes with a 18-55MM lens and a few goodies. A friend of friend is selling for $320 (I live in the Philippines, so cameras etc. are usually more expensive).
Are there any other cameras you recommend within this price range?
I just bought this camera which was once a lightly used "floor item" with a 3 year warranty. The price tag before warranty was $350 with no battery, strap, lens cap, or any other accessories. Came as is with 18-55mm lens and body.
At first look (without being able to boot the camera up) everything seems fine. The body is clean with no scrapes, scratches or dirt. Lens seems perfectly functional with NO scratches or smudges. Mirrors (technically mirrorless, but there is some reflective glass) and internal parts seem clean as well and nearly mint condition.
I bought a 3 year replacement plan for around $80, so if anything happens to it I can get it replaced for free.
I was looking into getting a nice DSLR for my honeymoon so I can document our trip, so this was quite a nice find. I thought so anyway.
Thoughts? Think this was a good/ bad buy?
Just wondering. I know that some people would prefer to have better low light performance than af in video and vice Versa. Wouldn't there be a market for each type of a amount ? I love my a57 but most of my shots are indoors and seriously have been considering trying to pick up a used a580 on eBay for better low light.
For sale is an amazing camera that has everything a beginner would need, for budget price. This would be a good present for someone who wants to get into photography or can be good daily driver with multiple lens options. I have loved this camera and have been using it with great care.
What is for sale is the Sony alpha 58, it comes with a sony 18-55mm kit lens, sony 55-200mm telephoto lens. This is usually what you get when you buy a camera.
But then once you start using it, you realize you need a prime lens, guess what I am going to give you two prime lenses, they are sharp and in really good shape.
It also comes with a variable ND filter, in case you are interested in long exposure photography etc. It also comes with a UV filter to protect your lens and give you a cool vignette.
A sony camera bag is included and will be shipped with a charger adapter, battery, belt for the camera.
Looking to sell everything as a package deal for 550$ + shipping, price is negotiable.
Sony Alpha SLT a99V DSLR camera body, (3)batteries, charger, and Sony branded camera strap. Works perfectly, and is in excellent condition. Moved to the e-mount system though, so it's time to let it go. Image quality is fantastic! $799 OBO (SOLD)
I'm pretty well versed in cameras but am very unfamiliar with Sony A-mount tech. A friend asked me if I'd look over her camera because it produces images with a bright, overexposed band at the bottom. It seems to range in intensity and doesn't always occur. When it does, it's the same configuration (never fully across the whole bottom, bottom right corner unaffected). From my limited reading, I understand the mirrors in these cameras are fairly unique (and fragile). Being that this brighter band occurs at the bottom of her images, I assume the issue is occurring at the top of the sensor inside the camera. But I really have no clue what would be causing this. A malfunctioning shutter? An internal reflection of some sort? Has anyone else experienced this?

I understand that it's the photographer, not the camera but most of the photographers that I follow either shoot on Canon or Nikon. Are there any Sony Alpha shooters with a similar style? Who do you guys personally follow or try and imitate?
Currently some of mine are (instagram):
@ laurentnivalle
@ amyshorephotography
@ emmett_sparling
@ mija_mija I guess she's more a designer than a photographer but I do really like her aesthetics and grading on some of her photographs
Hello guys! I want to buy myself first camera for 1500 up to 2000 euros budget so what camera to choose for beginning I have on mind these 2 cameras sony slt alpha 68 or canon 700d. In this budget I want included objectives too. I want to shoot every kind of pics like from travelling, car photography etc... so what to choose?
EDIT: also for recording some videos
Hey guys, so today I got my Sony Alpha 6600 with the Sigma 18-35mm f1.8 and took some pictures of some sushi. I played around with the settings and had a lot of fun, but I felt like not all pictures were really that sharp.
So I took some pictures of the same setup with my Pixel 4 XL (which I used up until for all my food photography for my IG account) and the pictures came out sharper.
So now I'm wondering why exactly that is... Are my pictures with the Sony supposed to come out super sharp out of the camera? Or are they usually underwhelming out of camera and the magic happens in post processing? And are the Pixel pictures so heavily processed to look really sharp?
My first camera!!!
I got the body, a battery, and a USB cord for 1k. Kind of bare bones but I think a good deal??
Now to buy some lenses and accessories. What do you guy recommend?
I want to shoot portraits, street shooting, scenic, and just conceptual art stuff.
Which lenses would be good for what?
Hey guys, I am selling some stuff from my gaming/streaming setup as I don't have as much time as I used to.
HyperX Quadcast Microphone - The microphone is used, it comes with the original cable, stand, and box. it works perfectly well and I have no issues with it. I've used it for about a year and it works great! If you need more pictures let me know! 50 shipped SOLD
Philips Fidelio X2HR Headphones - These headphones are awesome, in great condition except for the earcups, which seem to not look so glamorous. I've used these headphones for the past year and a half or so and they are so good. They function flawlessly and come with the original cable and box. If you need more pictures let me know! 60 shipped SOLD
Sony A6000 Camera with accessories - The camera is in great condition as well. It comes with the strap, battery, charging block and cable, as well as a dummy battery and a hdmi to micro hdmi cable as well (if you want it). I have only used this as a streaming camera so I have not taken a single picture with it so I believe the shutter count is 0. It comes with the original box as well. I bought it from Best Buy last summer. Not sure what else to say but if you have any questions let me know! 380 shipped SOLD
Elgato Cam Link 4k - It is in good condition and works without a hitch, but the usb end is a bit fragile so be sure not to bend it at extreme angles or anything. It moves slightly up and down with the usb end, if that makes sense. No original box or anything, just the device himself. 45 shipped SOLD
Elgato Streamdeck Mini - It is in very good condition as well, works super well nothing wrong with it as far as I can tell. Let me know if you want to see more pictures or have more questions! 40 shipped SOLD
If you have any questions, just let me know!
