A list of puns related to "Sonder Design"
I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.

Personal Log of Captain Eobard Lewis of the USS Expanse
The Atmosphere of the Expanse had been one of sonder for the past week, ever since we received news of the death of Specialist Tate. He was pulled off of the ventilator by order of his will. Apparently, he hadnβt wanted to spend more than a single month in a coma, so he made special provisions with his lawyers and family beforehand. Most of the crew attended the funeral back on Earth; I stayed behind. I told myself that a captainβs place was with his ship, but the truth was that I couldnβt bare to look his family in the eyes.
Official Log of Captain Eobard Lewis of the USS Expanse
With the return of the crew, after the funeral for Specialist Tate, we were about to set course for a familiar location, Jupiter. Specifically, the site of the original encounter with the alien ship. Even though the Expanse now has a fairly formidable armament, we are not going alone. With us come the UNN Elizabeth and the MCRN Hermes, both being second generation starships, are better suited for combat than the Expanse, which had extra armor and weapons installed after completion and launch. Our mission was to recollect the probe our ship dropped six months ago.
βCaptain, weβre receiving a hail from the captains of the Elizabeth and the Hermes.β Yensin announced.
βPut them on screen.β I said. The faces of Captain Emilia Manson, of the Elizabeth, and Rajesh Mikasa, of the Hermes, appeared side-by-side on the main viewer. βHello captains, ready to depart?β
βWhenever you are.β Said Emilia.
βWe are here to support you in the event of a worst-case scenario Captain Lewis. You should take the lead.β Said Captain Rajesh.
βOkay then,β I said sitting down in my chair, βstand by for FTL confirmation.β With that the screen cut off and my officers began issuing orders over comms. We have done FTL dozens of times, maybe even a hundred at this point, so we knew what we were doing. If this were any other day, all I would need to do would be to issue an FTL order and we would be on course in seconds. But this was different, today we were expecting to see them again, or at the very least, preparing for it.

It really does, I swear!
In July of this year, I was gifted a 3-month journal subscription from my mother for my birthday. I was skeptical, but wanted to give it a good try because it was a gift so I struggled to keep an open mind.
First, their onboarding materials gave me incorrect instructions to join the "Sonder Club". This club used to be in a private facebook group, which is where my onboarding instructions told me to go, but apparently (as I learned later) this group was closed several months before and they moved to their own app instead. I only figured this out after being declined for membership on the facebook group 3-4 times and emailed customer service about it. The response a copy/paste form template email that was clearly not tailored to me or my situation, just a form email designed to point people to the app. It did say that they manually added me to the App since my membership was a gift and I did not have my own registration information. My mother was getting all the emails and her email was the one tied to the membership, so apparently that meant I needed to be added manually to be verified as a member to the App. Frustrating. Even more frustrating was that after they told me I had been added, I got the error code "Cannot return null for non-nullable field Mutation.checkMembership". I sent an email about this and got the same copy/paste form email back as the day before, however it included a question asking how I got the information for the facebook group even though I mentioned that they sent me there in the welcome materials in my email the day before. Already, things were not going well and definitely got off on the wrong foot. I was extremely frustrated by this exchange, especially since getting automated-ish emails not once but twice about the same problem shows a lack of care and attention. I also want to mention that unless you have a smart phone and join their app, you will not have access to the community. But, this was a gift. I was determined to try to make the most of it since my mother thought I could use it.
Incorrect information was included in my welcome packet
I really tried hard to journal throughout July and I did, for the most part. I was still a bit bitter from my first experience, but worked really hard to set that aside. My first impression of the group was that it was a little cult-ish and seemed to pr

Dad jokes are supposed to be jokes you can tell a kid and they will understand it and find it funny.
This sub is mostly just NSFW puns now.
If it needs a NSFW tag it's not a dad joke. There should just be a NSFW puns subreddit for that.
Edit* I'm not replying any longer and turning off notifications but to all those that say "no one cares", there sure are a lot of you arguing about it. Maybe I'm wrong but you people don't need to be rude about it. If you really don't care, don't comment.
When I got home, they were still there.
