A list of puns related to "Soak City"
Yesterday there was a man (19 year old male) who was walking around hitting kids at Knotts Soak City. He also scratched someone else, bit an adult, and fought a security guard resulting in pretty bad injuries to his face.
Did anyone witness this or know someone that did? My daughter was hit in the face by him and I'm looking to talk to other people who had thier kids assaulted by him as well.
Edit: not trying to sue the park or parents, just looking to get him help. He needs professional help from the county.
>Banton says he's been watching the Raptors since the Calderon and Bargnani days. "That had to be my favorite team...Understanding this is where I come from, and being able to soak up all the love from the city."
>Raptors 2nd-round pick and Toronto-native Dalano Banton on being the first Canadian drafted by the franchise: "It was like both of my dreams coming true at once... It means a lot to me and my family, coming from where I come from, to make history."
Respect for mentioning the Raptors GOAT Calderon
Water Parks in and around the Twin Cities that are worth visiting?
Good Examples
Something like the citadel of the Mass Effect universe would be one example.
The cyberpunk city in Dreamfall: Chapters.
Bad Examples
The Yakuza series would be a bad example as you have to get into a fight every 6 steps. (Yes, I know the money throwing trick, but still)
Games Iβve played that arenβt necessarily good or bad examples:
Deus Ex series
Fallout series
RDR2
Thanks for any help. :)
EDIT: Iβm not particularly a fan of fantasy or medieval settings.
Basically looking for advice on:
Any other tips welcome! Cheers
We're going to Soak City next week and for the first time we're going to rent a cabana. If we were to leave our towels, shoes, sunscreen and whatever at the cabana while we run around, would they be safe or would someone steal them? Would there be an employee nearby watching over the cabanas?
PS: Would you recommend the Wavepool or Malibu cabanas?
That's it.

Do you need proof of soak city tickets in order to park here?
I'm not finding a list online of what rides in the water park have fast lane. Anyone have one?
I had no idea how popular SC was until I joined a couple kings island groups on Facebook and this thread on Reddit. You guys never have to worry about me taking up the space over there and crowding the area though! Why I think it sucks: I feel dirty when I am there...certain areas smell like sewage, pee or both. The bathrooms are nasty, and I see a lot of people just generally being gross and looking like they never bathe. I do not want to get into the same water if I feel like it is not clean. Burning feet: Is it just me or does the pavement in SC get hitter than any other pavement anywhere else?? Ouch! Stolen stuff: Okay, I have never had this happen to me because my husband had the stroller and walked to a different area of the park with our stuff and then came back for us, but I hear about things getting stolen all the time and I don't like having to worry about that and/or spend even more money for a locker. I am sure there are other reasons I will think of but that is it for now.
So just wondering what things canβt go on slides, like someone who had something and didnβt realize it until an employee told them.
I only take the minimum. I only take my Knotts card & Tesla keycard in a card pouch and make sure to wear swim shorts with zippers pocket. And my towel and wear sandals or water shoe. I leave my cell phone in the car, I only go for a few hours by myself and have no need to take the risk of taking my iPhone on the slide. Because I see people use those water pouch necklace things to carry phone, cards, money.
I thought about bringing my cell phone in that water pouch thing but I donβt know if it can come off while on slides. Seems to not be worth the risk if I get text I can just answer latter. I only go by myself anyways.
I want to wear a sports watch like a g shock. I just wonder if it would be allowed if itβs mostly plastic / rubber. So I can check the time without an iPhone, or asking people. I donβt know why they wonβt put clocks around the park especially for people who canβt bring their phones.
Soak City I feel is the only Knotts park that actually tries get single riders to fill empty slides. I was able to skip the line because I was a single rider and readily available at any time. While others insist to ride in their groups and not try get the line to move faster. But at least I get to come out ahead most the time because the ride attendant will ask "any single riders who wanna go" and I can just raise my hand and go.
For Aqualaunch (capsule launch slide) I was able to skip the a good portion of the line because nobody wanted to take that single spot. Banzai Falls, it has 6 slides together and that one is where slides go empty because people wanna wait for the next slide just to be with their groups, so its an opportunity for me to skip the line.
I'm glad the employees here will try get the line moving faster and ask single riders to volunteer to take empty spots. Something that never happens at Knotts Berry Farm.
I don't get why people enjoy waiting in line so much just so they ride together. They get angry if you cut, but they don't care if seats / slides go empty.
I have only noticed the one hot dog and pizza stand there. Is there somewhere to get frozen alcoholic drinks there?
If I was a billionaire, I would have my own travel team that would surprise me every three months with an envelope of plane tickets for my family's next destination. "And now we are going to ... Kyoto!" The idea would be to soak up life in the new place, so there would be a house, and activities, and sights to see, but I would work (remotely) and my kids would have school, or camp, or childcare.
My question is: how achievable is a plan like this for mere mortals? What kind of planning, or services, help with an approach like this? And who else has done something like this out there?
I'm taking my kids to Soak City tomorrow.
What time can Gold Pass members get in, and what, if any, of the water rides are open early?
Thanks!
Anyone know where to buy Soak City tickets at discount?
Do they sell them at Ralphs or places like that?
Just wanted to talk about how Soak City was when I went yesterday. I got there around noon and the line to get in was quick, and I had no issue with my reservation. Mask wise, you're only required to wear a mask when you are inside, or watching someone on an attraction. As long as you are outside and moving, in line, or actively riding/playing, you do not need a mask. There were line markers for the slides, but most people were not vigilant about spacing. Some of the slides were closed for spacing, and there was only one entrance to to the lazy river and wave pool, but other than that it felt like a normal day at Soak City. If you are comfortable with the mask rules I'd still recommend visiting.
Howβs parking on a non holiday Monday? Plan to get there at 12 tomorrow but debating earlier if parking is still awful as it is on the weekends
My fiance and I were a little bummed about it not being open last year, so as soon as they open, we wanted to go. Do you think it'll be worth it or would it be to packed to enjoy? One thing I miss about last year was pretty much everything being a walk-on. We went this past Sunday and it was super packed.
Is soak city worth the extra cost or should we just do the amusement park? Also does anyone know if they have VR stuff there?
I'm heading to Soak City Friday with my boys. I see it's going to be pretty warm = crowds. I got the FLP for Kings Island the day before, and am wondering if I need to get it Fast Lane or Fast Lane Plus for Soak City as well? Are the lines ridiculous on a warm Friday?
Thanks in advance!
Hi all, I have reservations for tomorrow at Soak City at 11 am for myself and kid [we had a pass purchased pre covid]. I had to buy my now 3 year old a pass but I had to reserve him a later time slot as the 11 am one was not available. Any idea If they will let us all in at 11?
Has is been replaced by Cedar Point Shores? We just want to do a water park afternoon. I cannot figure out any hours, or how to buy tickets. The Cedar Point site only shows 2-park passes. I only want the water park.
What am I missing?
I keep thinking about Soak City getting a good water coaster in the likes of Holiday World. I'd also love to see a refresh/rebrand with the addition of more tube type slides.
We got our picture taken today and have my "voucher" still showing on my app for a Gold pass. I would like to reserve a spot. How do I see our pass number to reserve a soak city spot?? Am I just missing it π?
