A list of puns related to "So Far Away (Carole King song)"
Iβm really reminded of Joniβs Ladies in the Canyon (1970) and Caroleβs Tapestry (1971), from a musical, thematic, and visual perspective. Rainbows and light, love, returning to your roots...Tapestry even has Carole Kingβs cat on the cover. Especially with the vintage 60βs/70βs vibes weβve been seeing, and the more stripped down, acoustic performances sheβs been doing since rep, it just seems to fit.
Might be wishful thinking on my part, but I think a TS album inspired by this genre/period in music would be something really special.
Edit: Left an app store review for probably the 3rd or 4th time ever.
Edit #2: Not usually a P2P player, but I like this game. And I like Epis.
What's up people! I've been on a mobile game binge since I got a new phone! I've been looking all over for games that fit my particular taste.
My biggest mobile game has been Crusader Quest, and I've been desperately searching for another game with similar depth and game design but for the most part been empty handed.
Until... I finally bit the bullet and downloaded the game with the Pink Haired Girl I assumed would be another piece of shit.
Instead: Holy shit, did... did Vespa do it right? There's so many little things I've seen so far that just tickle me something strong.
I can't express enough how much I hate games with "Over 800+ creatures" where non exaggeratedly 90% of them are literally incapable of being used end game because they max out at level 20. I don't care if a hero is underpowered, but I much prefer the idea that any hero COULD be used end game, even if they suck.
I downloaded Valkyrie Crusade after reading some positive reviews... and it was... ok? Each hero had 1 main ability and 1 ultimate ability. What the hell actually separates the heroes besides stats? This game has an actual battlefield. You can make decisions! There's depth to combat!?! Like I cannot stress enough the significance of King's Raid having literally anything that requires player input in it. It's amazing.
One thing I love about Crusader Quest is that the heroes are both mechanically and thematically different from each other. I can't stand "Orange Ninja that totally isn't Naruto" in a game. I also can't stand the games where heroes are just stats and a leader ability "Purple cards deal +50% damage". You're telling me each hero has multiple abilities and the abilities aren't 4 different colored nukes? I'm in heaven.
I don't even care if it's GOOD. I'm just blown away by how many mobile games (especially the Asian Gacha games) just look like not a single human being gave a fuck about what the game actually looked like. From cringey wannabe-anime to Nintendo DS graphics games, to just having features not work, or text that just is scattered all over a page.
King's Raid looks like it has an actual art dir
... keep reading on reddit β‘To give some context. I'm falling in love with someone that lives in another state. I'm a little bit scared, but i need some music for this situation.
Please help. The first two seconds of the song Tapestry sounds like another melody and my friend decided to curse me with asking what it sounds like. We spent two hours looking through different Broadway shows trying to find a match. The piano melody in the first two seconds is what sounds so familiar. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JM07lUytXA0.
