Now hear me out, I don’t think rife is ready just yet. Mays can shoot (unlike delon and rife) and he’s got size. He’s got a year of playing in the league under his belt, and he’s honestly made the most of the very little minutes he’s received. He seems to have a very fundamental style of play, making him a good decision maker with the ball. If TLC got minutes tonight then I don’t see the harm in getting mays some as well. Also, Lou hasn’t been the scorer we all know him as, and this is probably his last year in the NBA, but right now he ain’t it. Thoughts?
I still believe Dunn can be a useful rotation piece, but he missed like 15 months of basketball and it shows with some of his unforced turnovers and mental lapses. Mays offers comparable defensive abilities with much better ball handling than we’ve seen from Dunn. His focus and effort could have made a difference yesterday.
For the minutes they play, can they do any better? Everytime they play, they look like they belong there. Im really excited to see them play more next season
