In this dream it is snowy. Late dusk. Me and some friends--boys and girls--are walking home from the movies, laughing, playing in the snow. At one of our friends home, their mother had us dinner, which we are all looking forward to.There is kindness, love and understanding. Just palpable, I can feel it in the air.
(There was a particularly vivid scene of me teaching people how to squat on the tips of one leg while using the other to draw a perfect circle around. I've never done that in my life haha or thought about it ever.)
In another dream, the white curtains are flailing in the wind coming from the open window, as me and my fiance lie in bed in a cottage, in a green field of grass. Just a walk's walk away in the next village, both our parents live. They're excitedly helping us to plan our wedding.

Very simple scenes, very calm, but I've never felt such intense love--to love and to be loved--like this. It's hard to put into words. My brain is still hazy, my hands shakey, as I'm recovering from this withdrawal.
I've been up, reeling in emotion. Always thought i don't need anybody, just as nobody needs me.
My brain is recovering, my body hurts, and I'm disappointed at all the things I could have had.

I'm Dee. I'm 30. I have never thought I needed romance and friendship until the dreams I just had. It's currently 5:33 and I woke up 10 minutes ago.
At 6, I left to live with my dad and saw my mother twice a year on average for another six years.
At 12 we moved halfway around the world. Have seen mom for a grand total of four times in 19 years. I still miss her and love her.
At 19, I had my first girlfriend.
At 22 I had my second--she was a math teacher a few years older. I fucked it up bad. She was perfect and put up with my alcoholic ways while trying to change me. We were going to be married and have kids. Due to my young partying ways, I decided to party until 30 instead. She's happily married and with her own family.
At 23, my third. That was intense. She wanted to start a family and help me my "stupid life of alcohol". When she left, I felt this huge hole in me. I was with her all the time, met her friends, but now there was nothing. No one to love and to be loved by.
At 24, my fourth. She was beautiful, quiet and sweet. She never said why, but I fucked up on our valentine's day by drinking with some people elsewhere, and she called it quits right after. I met her one more

I posted a few days ago about wanting to make a Droids v. Clones battlebox for game night with my friends. I decided to go ahead and make four possible skirmish lists out of all the units I have. The possible commanders are:
I did my best to make each list play to the strengths of each commander, but now I need your help. It would be greatly appreciated if you could take a look at each list and let me know what you think. I'm still pretty new to legion, so I don't know if any of the lists seem overpowered (IMO Rex is looking pretty stronk).
I'm not too worried about making the perfectly optimized lists, I just want everyone to have fun playing out Star Wars Battles.

I personally imagine Mel as an earth bender because she really believe in her own principle.
Vi to be fire bender with her strong motivations and (kinda) anger issue. Caitlyn kinda give me a water bender vibe with her kindness idk.
Jinx and Viktor seems like a non bender tbh. Seems like they can survive with just their ingenuity. Viktor could be an earth bender though.
Ekko and Heimer kinda give me Air bender vibe because of how free they are.
Jayce maybe an air bender because he’s wishy washy like a kite (jk). Nah he’s fire bender because his work.
Silco maybe water bender because of his past.

I don't mean the skins. They are prestigious, they should be expensive. And honestly, by the time a player reaches rank 2k, they should have more than enough claim tickets to buy anything they want, so you can say that the prices are kinda balanced.
But look at the last tab... 45 tickets for 15 obsidian shards? 10 tickets for an ascended salvage tool? What!?
At a rate of 6 pips per tick (which I guess is roughly what active WvW players can be expecting in a winning matchup), one would need to spend 70 minutes of playtime in order to fill the wooden chest track that rewards the first 10 claim tickets. This time is more than doubled for a player below rank 150, whose only source of pips is their world's current skirmish rank.
Compare this to the fractal cost, which is 2 relics per ascended salvage tool, which requires less than 2 minutes if you do the molten boss fractal. Oh, look, level 10 molten boss actually rewards 6 relics, so you effectively spend 40 seconds getting the salvage tool.
That's 40 seconds compared to 70 minutes in ideal conditions.
A bit over the top if you ask me.
(Also related, I'm a bit surprised by the cost of the backpack precursors, as they are much more expensive than their PvP counterparts - 350 tickets per piece? compared to 10-20-30-40? Why? I'm not complaining, I'm just really confused by the inconsistency.)
Why is there no MM for t8 skirmish, I've checked the clan stats, no one plays t8 skirmish.
I didn't even realize it because I was watching player streams but not being able to see and hear players was a massive blow to how entertaining the tourney is. We're already feeling disconnected because of the whole club nonsense but on top of that we can't hear players getting hype, disappointed, etc. Can't hear the communication or the celebrations.
The only way you're going to get that going forward is by watching your favorite player's stream which honestly sucks. I'd rather watch stretched res then not see or hear the players at all. Anyone else feel this way?
