Turn off vibration and sound for notifications when unlocked or enable full time with a CC toggle.
When enabled from settings your device will vibrate and make sounds as normal when locked, once unlocked it will disable vibrations and sounds for incoming notifications and disable vibrations for ringing and while the silent switch is on.
When the CC toggle is enabled it does everything above all the time while the toggle is enabled whether the device is locked or unlocked, when locked the display will light up like normal but without sound and vibration. (CC toggle state is remembered through a respring).
Silent/Mute can be enabled with either as well from settings

No, silence isn't awkward, you trying create a conversation with a clearly unwilling participant is.
Silence imo is not exactly golden, however knowing when to be silent is GOLDEN.
I used to be the type who'd not get in a group roast (with friends) just to avoid being roasted, who'd just let things slide for peace sake, and then 10 minutes later I'd have that epiphany of the things I'd have said that would've made a great come back.
This would typically leave me with regrets and "I wish I"

I cant for the life of me figure out how to get the Silence is golden quest I found out you can only get it after Nosedive but before Self-defense so I replayed Nosedive only to find out you're supposed to have gotten it automatically after waking up in the hospital? But I dont recieve a letter from Joy after waking up in the hospital was there something I needed to do in order to get her quest? I've gone through the dialogue with Johannes twice and I never get the letter from Joy. What am I missing???

Personally I believe that there are only three things you should type in chat:

- Tactical discussion
- Encouragement
If it ain't these things keep it to your goddamn self and focus on the game.
Too many games I have lost because of ego wars. Stop saying "GG" this or "Report this" or "This x-champion". Stop passive aggressively calling your teammates bad.
If your teammates are doing bad in lane just shut the fuck up and focus on doing the best you can. Silence is golden.
This is a follow up to MIL and my mothers funeral, see the bot for a link. Thank you to everyone who responded. It has helped us so much.
TD/DR original post - MIL got in my face an hour before my mothers funeral that sent me for a major loop that I am still trying to recover from.
DH finally got all his thoughts figured out and we took a written copy to our therapist to have their input (beyond helpful). He then communicated to the ILs that MILs behaviour was not acceptable and an apology was necessary.
No response.
The longer that we wait for a response the worse I am expecting it to be. DH is pretty devastated but also seems resigned. Others in his family are also not responding to stuff sent to them on social media (unusual). This leads me (I haven't pointed this out to DH yet as he is dealing with enough disappointment and loss with his family) to suspect MIL has been telling the family about my "disrespect" and DHs "unreasonable" demands. We consider this disagreement private but know that she has passed on very private information about BIL to DH when it was not her story to tell. I have long suspected it goes the other way as well. This makes me really sad for my DH and my children. We haven't even told our children as they generally love their grandparents and they are still dealing with losing someone. I don't want to affect their relationship with their grandparents (and now maybe extended family) in the hope we can move forward. If my suspicion is correct there will be no moving forward.
What makes all of this worse is a recent issue with a family member of mine. This family member can be very boundary stomping when they are upset. They are currently very upset (having a hard time dealing) with my mothers death. This resulted in a bit of a row on the weekend over some boundary stomping on their part, me calling them out on it, and then them ending a phone call early. Three hours later they are phoning me back to 1. apologize for their behaviour, and 2. discuss what improvements could be made in our communications to avoid this happening again (i.e. emotional needs on both of our parts).
Why is this worse? It made DH really acknowledge the failings of his own parent. Feelings are not up for discussion. Especially if they are ours.
Then it becomes suspicious.

I am trying to begin the Silence is Golden side quest but when I go to talk to Joy in the Library she wont talk to me, I have no letter or note from her in my inventory and have checked my hotel room for the note which apparantly you should automatically get but looks like I'm screwed and have to re-start from scratch since all my saves are near the end of the game. Did this happen to anyone else? Anyone know if I'm doing something wrong? Thanks

We have been lucky to pull him very early in the game and gave him lots of love on the stats before to bring him everywhere.
The PROS:
- Elemental advantage to help him apply his s3 AOE silence.
- His s2 boost CR / Att% and cooldown of 2 turns only.
- S1 auto-cast attack buff.
- Very efficient on PvP Offence, special mention in guild battles.
- Optimised when set with 2 DPS to abuse his s2 and buff their attack like a mofo.
The CONS:
- Not reliable in PvP defence as his s2 will always apply to the lower ally in the CR bar - which can cut in between speed scale strategy for a specific team composition.
- Even with s3 maxed (65% chance), he failed often time to land his silence so he still need effectiveness to be efficient.
- Nowadays, plenty of Wondrous Potion on support/healers in arena, Silence can be cleaned.
- His multiplier and damage are below average.
- He is on the squishy side.
- He can't use his s2 on himself.
We tried him on different builds, and ended up liking him more on a fast and tanky build. Why? Because in building him on a damage, he was too squishy and did not deliver relevant threat.
So we recommend overall Speed / Hit or HP at first, and the stats below:
- Speed: 190+. At 112 base speed, gonna take beast gears if you want him as reliable opener over 225+ speed in PvP off. Can do, but not the safest and easiest option to build. For example, better to put that kind of speed on a Assassin Coli/Kise or a Judith to ensure first move.
- HP: 15K+
- Def:1K+
- Effectiveness: +60% (yes you hear it, this is the bottom line where he started to land consistently his s3)
- Att: 2K if possible.
- Crit Chance & Crit Damage: If you can reach 60%+ critical chance and whatever critical damage, a great bonus - once again not a amazing damage, his last priority.
- Boots: Speed
- Necklace / Ring: HP, HP or Def
Artefact: As mage, you think "AOE so Sira-Ren". His s3 AOE has 4 turns cool down, so pair him with a CR booster to get more turns / more debuffs.
Our favourite artefact for PvP Off his Tagahel's Ancient Book (needs full Limit Breaks / Max Level = 20 soulburns). Because you can immediately soulburn an extra turn on your s3 to bring a deadly fat and slow DPS (preferably AOE) to ensure early damage. Also pairs well if you use it to soul burn your C.Domi.
Finally, for Hunts (not 11 yet) and PvE, we mostly replace Diene to use him as attack buffer - he worked very well every
