A list of puns related to "Shinnecock Hills"
Iβm trying to get a Shinnecock Hills Golf Club bag as a wedding present. Iβve looked all over online, with little luck finding anything. I imagine they sell nice bags in their pro shop, but I live across the country so that isnβt a viable option. Does anyone have any experience getting something like this? If so, how did you go about it? Any ideas or alternative options would be greatly appreciated.
Hereβs a little preview of what Iβve been working on. Iβve just finished the front 9. Currently working on the back 9. I hope you guys enjoy the finished product!

Guy I golfed with a few days ago had a beautiful Shinnecock head cover for a few of his clubs. Red and white leather with the Brave head profile on them.
I couldn't find one online in a short search and the guy said he got them as a gift.
Any ideas?
How much do you think the lack of trees on the property contribute to the look?
I've seen comments from multiple places about how the course looks plain and repetitive and I'm wondering if the lack of framing around the course contributed to those perspectives.
Edit for clarification: I'm not advocating for more tree, rather the opposite. I appreciate the look of Shinnecock and how the hollows & hillocks make the golf course. but for the majority of players who are unaccustomed to playing on golf courses that look like Shinnecock, I wonder if the stark visual difference and seemingly displeasing view of the golf course is most, or in some way, due to the lack of trees or other sort of framing of the golf holes.
These shirts have maybe been worn once each. Theyβre both larges.
Streamsong one is RLX (originally $110) US open is Peter Millar (originally $85)
Willing to take offers.

Any info would be great. Cant find anything.
Heading to Shinnecock for the first time on Thursday. I live in lower Westchester and would REALLY prefer driving, but the sense Iβm getting is that taking the train may be the best move due to traffic. Can anyone weigh in here?
Iβm also curious if anyone has attended events at Shinnecock before (β04 US Open?) and have any site-specific tips for the day.
Any advice on logistics to and from Shinnecock for the US Open? We are staying at a hotel in Hauppauge - would it be best to rent a car and drive at the crack of dawn, or try to take the train to the temporary LIRR stations?
TIA
Got Wednesday practice round and Sunday Tickets as a present
If i had to pick one golfer i'd really want to see up close is Jordan Speith with Tiger as a close second.
I've never been to any professional tournament, all i know is i'll be walking ALOT and be prepared for a lot of sun exposure. Can you give me tips and advice from seeing the practice rounds and tips for following a player throughout the day?
I hadn't gotten my dad a present yet for father's day, and while watching round 2 of the US Open yesterday, Joe Buck convinced me. I'm going to the 2018 US Open!!
