It was 2002, I was in 4th grade and everyone was supposed to bring in their favorite CD album and share 1 song with the class. The teacher was trying to show us how everyone listens to different kinds of music. Shania Twain's "Up" Album happened to be the first music album my parents ever bought me (Brittany Spears was my first cassette tape) This album came with 2 CDs, one was red (pop version) and the other was green (country version).
I was the last kid to share their music and everyone laughed me for listening to "country", I pretended it was a joke and then went immediately to the guidance councilor to cry because "I let Shania down!"Γ
Shania if you're reading this, I still feel bad for letting you down!
