Shadow and Bone Puns

I hate myself. Should have looked it up first.

As someone who has only read SoC and do not plan on reading Shadow and Bones, can anyone explain what this show is going to be about? Why are characters from SoC going to be in the Netflix show? I know both book series are written by Leigh Bardugo and (i guess) are based in the same world? but is the series going to combine the 2 series? im just confused and the little research ive done has led to no answers.

I was wondering since i've heard of it from a friend and telling me if I love Wheel of Time i should read the grishaverse books. Which has me skeptical about it.

Title. I can't find them anywhere and they are nice. I can't find even a picture for them cause I suck at the internet right now but there's one for Visor, Slash, and Keel and seems to be a whole lot of them with their quotes like "Joy to the Frag" and "I see your fear."

I read the Six of Crows duology recently and enjoyed it so I figured I could get more background into the universe!

Let’s imagine that Niantic wants to make Alolan Marowak as good as its main series counterpart by giving it Shadow Bone as an exclusive move. Does anyone know how good Shadow Bone would have to be in order for Alolan Marowak to be meta relevant / have a niche?

Might be impossible since the two things that make Marowak-A good in main series both involve features that aren’t on go (Thick Club, a hold item that doubles its attack, and Lightning Rod, an ability that gives it an extra immunity to electric)…just thought I’d ask out of curiosity though in case someone has already thought about this.

Basically dark and twisted period set films. Preferably with a supernatural or at least a mindfuck vibe.
