A list of puns related to "Scooter sharing system"
Many leftfield sites like to present e-scooter destruction scenes, as if they were mechanical pests.
In Lisbon thereβs a boom of bikes and scooters from the apps like Lime, Voi, Jump (Uber), and others. Almost every corner has a scooter to rent, and some places have scooters and bikes from many companies. Other Portuguese cities are also getting some of these companies operating there. Although this is good to promote different means of transportation, thereβs the problem of people parking the bikes and scooters on inappropriate places. Does your city have these bikes, scooters and similar systems? Whatβs your opinion about that?
Edit: There is also the municipal bike sharing system with docks called Gira, it was the first major system of this type in Lisbon.
As the title says, I'm wondering if there's any time at night in which you can rent the mopes anymore.
I had an experience once where I couldn't get one on at somewhere around 1AM despite trying multiple scooters. Was this just bad luck or does the company disable them after a certain time at night?
someone is gonna smear sh*t on the handle bars in the first week, calling it
Is there any limitation on where you can ride? How common are conflicts with car drivers and pedestrians?
Hi Everyone,
I am from the midwest and is not super fond of driving, heck I don't like driving on highways that have more than 3 lanes. I am moving to Cambridge for a 6 months period and will be moving back to the midwest after that. I am not going to bring my car because I am afraid I will get a heart attack driving around here (or give a heart attack to someone else).
So about going around town, I own an electric scooter and want to bring it with me. Do people frown upon this? are there people using electric scooters in Cambridge? where can you ride it? Since I own it, it will not cut power in "no ride zones" as defined by many scooter-sharing companies (at least here they will cut power if you ride it on campus, in a park etc.) are there no ride zones by default that makes people angry when they see a scooter rolling by?
Another option is a bike, and I considered it, but I don't have one, it take up more space and I don't want to get to work covered in sweat. So I would like the scooter idea to work.
I posted a month ago about finding a place to live and got a ton of great replies. I am really grateful for all you guy's help! ~ from people's republic of AA
