The first 2 games of IPL 2020 sanju hit 52 and 78 respectively but then hit less than 20 for the next couple games. SInce he is captain this year will i cause him to play more safely and end up playing better this year?
Yesterday we saw Meridith and jhye but look at Arshdeep and compare the money spent on these people , I am not saying that foreign bowlers are not efficient but spending large amount of money on them is wrong.
In the 7 t20's he has played so far, he has made a meagre 83 runs at an average of 11.83 and a SR of 118. A lot of people vouch for his classy stroke making and ability to hit from ball one but it is of no use if he throws away his wicket quickly, which he mostly always does, something that can not be shrouded under the veil of selfless cricket. Should he be backed for a few more games or is it high time that chances be given to some other people who have been consistently performing in IPL? What if they don't perform up to expectations as well?
