Okay so not so much a liberal post (though I am one)... I own a Ruger 57, and while I love shooting the thing, ammo is crazy expensive, hard to find, and I feel like it doesn't really serve much of a purpose. I already have a 9mm I use for home defense, or carrying while backpacking and what-not. I've been interested in getting my first shotgun for home defense and just general fun. Obviously cost is an issue, which is why I'm thinking about selling the 57 and using the funds for that for a shotgun... Thoughts?
Been looking into these for a little while and it seems like there are some good options available for other pistols out there but so far haven’t found anything for the 57.
This seems like the perfect pistol to have a conversion kit for as it already has low recoil and the round is basically a miniature rifle round to begin with. I think it would be awesome to be able to have two guns in one with this thing.
Anyone know of any conversion kits that exist for this pistol?
