A list of puns related to "Rugby league playing field"
I am from California (purposely not saying the United States) and I watch all sports. I really enjoyed watching the Rugby World Cup this summer. I just loved the players, the flow of the game, attitude of the game, etc. As a result I am trying to gain an understanding on what leagues to follow throughout the year. I follow football around the world so I understand the Premier league, La Liga, Champions League, etc.. I recently saw on TV the NRL Final thinking the NRL is the biggest league but after reading several posts on reddit I keep seeing the Super Rugby, , PRO 14, etc.
Can someone help me visualize the top tier leagues to watch and how does the NRL fit into all this. Is it even a relevant league?
Thanks in advance!!!
Edit: Wow honestly you guys all provided such a good picture of how it all works. I really appreciate you guys providing your input. Now I can actually know what I am watching!
Not much of an article here - just sort of confirms that the Gold have talked about playing at the Babycakes (yes that's the name) field. This is a local minor league baseball park. The babycakes baseball team is moving and the park doesn't have a new baseball team coming in to replace them.

I'm thinking zig-zag foul lines.
Drove by it on Saturday. There was a rugby game going on. Been looking for a league for a long time.
An NRL player has died after suffering critical injuries following a horrific on-filed incident.
Wiremu Kahui was playing a game atΒ South Perth Rugby League Club for the Ellenbrooks Rabbitohs on September 19 when he was 'seriously injured'.
He was rushed toΒ Sir Charles Gardiner Hospital in a critical condition, where he has since died.
Heartbroken family announced his death on Wednesday, remembering the father-of-four as a 'beloved brother and passionate role model'.Β The club's president Karyssa Morrell confirmed the tragic news, saying Kahui's death was 'hard to digest'.
'Wiremu and his family have been pivotal in our clubs growth since it's inception,' she wrote on Facebook.
'He fought hard and while this news will have a significant impact on his family, our members and the wider rugby league community, please know Mu will be with us in our hearts forever.
'I will always be grateful for his many contributions to our club and I feel honoured to have even known him. Wiremu is a true legend'.
Ms Morrell offered her support to Kahui's wife Haylee and their four sons Damian, Julian, Eli and Baby Marley.
'To our sister Haylee, the boys, and extended family, we will all continue to be here to support you in whatever way we can, always! Sending all our love and strength.
'During this time, we all need each other more than ever. Let's stay united and keep our integrity strong, check in on your loved ones, and know our doors are always open.'
A GoFundMeΒ page launched by Sarne Moana to help support Kahui's family has raised $29,285.
'Wiremu was playing the game he loved most and was tragically involved in an incident that has left him fighting for his life,' Ms Moana wrote.
'Wiremu is the primary provider for his family. The concern is with his current state he will never again be able to provide for his wife Haylee and four sons Damian, Julian, Eli and Baby Marley.
'As a family, we can work together to support our brother Wiremu.'
Further to the GoFundMe donations, the Joondalup Giants Rugby League Club announced they will hold a donation tin during Saturday's game, with all proceeds going to the family.
