The fedora was named after the title character in the 1889 play "FΓ©dora," a Russian princess played by famed actress and known crossdresser Sarah Bernhardt. In the play, Bernhardt wore a hat in this style, after which it was adopted as a symbol of the women's rights movement.

Name a horror film role that was so well cast, you just couldn't see the role being played by any other actor or actress
For me, Max Von Sydow as Father Merrin in The Exorcist, such a terrific performance, one of my all-time favorites to boot. I couldn't see anyone else playing that role. Pretty much feel the same way for that cast (even though I really liked George C. Scott's performance as Lt. Kinderman in The Exorcist III.)
Same for James Caan & Kathy Bates as Paul Sheldon & Annie Wilkes respectively in Misery, both were outstanding in those roles IMHO. Name a horror film role that was so perfectly cast that you couldn't see the role being played by another actor.
