A list of puns related to "Rockstar Games Social Club"
Woke up to an email in Chinese from Rockstar Games saying that my account's email has changed, this happened without warning or permission as Rockstar usually does with any log-in, I've contacted Rockstar via support ticket, and they've sent me a link to enter but the link requires me to login with the same account that's been compromised.
That makes 0 sense and I don't see what I'm missing here, a lot of games are on my Rockstar Games launcher which I do not have access to anymore, and especially the special in-game contents that I've paid for.
Any ideas on what to do?
I recently decided to start playing again and try to go for the 100% like I did for GTAV. However, after signing into my rockstar games social club, it shows I have 0% progress on everything, even though I have beat the game already and have trophies to prove it on my PSN. Is there any way to fix this?
just wondering about that.
I don't know what kind of captcha is this but this is torture, It goes from 5 to 15 even though I didn't do anything suspicious with my account or network, this is just the worst UX

I accidentally changed my drive letter so then rockstar launcher didn't want to work. I deleted it and all of the other folders. I downloaded and installed the launcher again, signed in, started gta5, then I get "you have been signed out of rockstar games social club" and it only gives me the option to close game. I've tried deleting and reinstalled rockstar launcher 6 times and it keeps doing the same thing. This is really starting to piss me off. Does anybody know how to fix this?
I mod gta5 story mode and my game was working perfectly fine a few weeks ago. I bought the game through epic. No matter what I do or how many times i restart epic it does the same thing. It also wont save my sign in when I click auto sign in.
Edit: fixed. Go to your gta5 directory, open comandline.txt, change it to -scOnlineonly. Mine was set to offline only.
I have been playing gta online for nearly a year now and havenβt got an account for this, if I get an account for this will my progress be deleted? Like will I have everything still? Thanks!
tldr if you lose access to the Rockstar Social Club account linked to your Steam account, you can't play Rockstar games purchased on Steam.
I know I'm not the only one with an old Steam account. Now once upon a time I bought Max Payne 3, which required linking my Steam account to a Rockstar Social Club account. The email I used to create a Social Club account back in 2013 is not the one I'm using now.
A while ago I bought RDR2 on Steam and I finally got around to playing it, only to be faced with Rockstar's DRM prompting me to verify my Social Club account - the account I had linked to Steam back in 2013 and subsequently forgot about.
Now, Rockstar does allow you to unlink your Steam account from your Social Club account by contacting their support, as long as you have access to both accounts. Luckily, I was able to get into the email address I used for the Social Club account and thus reset the password and access the account, but I got to thinking about the ramifications this could have had.
Imagine you lose access to your Social Club account for whatever reason. Maybe you got hacked. Maybe you just can't remember the password. Maybe it turns out you linked your Steam account to Social Club eight years ago, not realizing you were signing a lifelong contract with the devil.
Now imagine you buy one of Rockstar's titles on your Steam account, only to find that because you're locked out of the linked Social Club account you can't play the game you just bought.
Valve just took your money and then threw you to the wolves, evidently not concerned with making sure you actually can access the product you just paid for. If you're lucky, you're still within the two week refund limit. If real life got in the way and you've had the game in your library for a few months, chances are you're shit out of luck. You just spent money on a product you cannot interact with in any meaningful way, shape or form.
Either way, this feels dodgy as hell to me. The fact that Social Club is little more than shitty DRM is hardly news to anybody, but ultimately this reflects poorly on Steam as well.
So I'm planning on buying physical for Switch but I also have an Xbox with Gamepass and would like to play GTASA in the meantime while I wait for my Switch copy to arrive a few weeks later. Is there any chance I'll be able to transfer my save from Xbox to Switch using the Rockstar Social Club? Is that a thing that has ever been supported through RSC?
You literally have to log in to rockstar games launcher everytime to play any rockstar game offline. It states that it will "remember you" if u click both remember me and auto login option. Well Ive clicked them and have logged in and I was playing yesterday. Today I go to play again, (i havent even turned off my pc yet) and guess what!? I have to log in AGAIN! This is dumb, people with legit copies of the game have a harder time playing it than people with non legit copies of the game. Total bs! Im very dissapointed. I figured this issue was only going to be around in the beggining of rockstar launcher but I guess not. Fix your pile of trash u call a launcher.
Luckily I have a hotspot on my phone to re log in but the whole situation stinks!
I am unable to start the Rockstar launcher. First I had the offline mode problem and when I tried fixing that by using a method that worked for me before I got an error message saying :
The Social Club failed to load due to an incomplete installation (code 1). Please exit the game and re-install the latest version of Social Club.
I tried reinstalling it like 10 times already. I tried following multiple guides and videos to try to fix it but nothing worked. I am also unable to contact Rockstar support, because the sign in page always times out. (I also tried fixing the time out error, but nothing worked). And the Rockstar launcher download page also times out so I was always downloading it by launching either Red dead or Gta and it downloading automatically and then getting the error. If anyone has any idea on how to fix this please let me know.
So I bought a physical copy GTA 5 for PC years ago and it's been launching through Social Club for a long time now. I recently started using GOG and when I connected my SC account it shows my achievements but not playtime. Is it a known bug or is it because I have a physical copy?
Am i required to download the game every time i want to see the images? Is there a way to gain access to them on the website?
Canβt seem to connect to the website or the launcher.

SOLUTION: I disabled my antivirus and firewall in Windows and I was able to get in the first try. The captcha was still a bit buggy, but once I verified I was able to finally sign in. Credit to /u/anMushi
I just bought GTA V, I've been trying to login to the damn Rockstar Games Launcher for the past few hours now, so many times that I've been getting the "Your computer or network may be sending automatic queries" warning and being unable to try again for about 10-20 minutes.
I've tried uninstalling the games launcher and social club, I've made sure I can sign in to the social club on rockstar's own website. But every time, I'm able to get through some captchas, most of the time failing, even though I know I'm not doing anything wrong, and then eventually I get it right. I get the green checkmark in the "I'm not a robot" box, and click sign in. After clicking sign in, the checkmark clears and I get a red warning saying Missing or Invalid CAPTCHA.
I'm so beyond frustrated, I just want to play the damn game, why is this so difficult? Literally the worst sign in process I've ever been through.
The game was purchased through Steam.

UPDATE: 12 hours later and still nothing, Iβve reinstalled the games launcher, deleted my hosts file, still getting the error. See video.
As the Title Suggests, Iβve been getting this notification every time I spawn into a lobby. Itβs getting really frustrating as Iβve been receiving this for weeks (I think even Months) how do I resolve this? Please
Pretty much the title: Trying to log in to RDO, but game only starts in offline mode, and the social club website is not reachable. I do have internet access and the R* website itself functions...
When I try to launch any game off the Rockstat Games Social Club, It says βSigned Outβ and Iβm unable to sign back in, Even when I sign into the launcher it still says this when I launch a game. Some solutions I saw online was to turn of Controlled Folder Access which gives what? It was already off in the first place, Some other solutions suggested creating a new account from what I found but Iβm not doing that. If you have a Solution to my problem please enter it here.
I've installed the game from the number one torrent site in the mega thread. I've installed the rockstar launcher. I've scanned it and the game is there. I've no idea what's going on I can't run it at all from the launcher. It was a .iso file from which I copied all files to my hard disk. I've no idea what's going I've downloaded without any problems and it's giving me this. Thanks in advance!
Hey guys - currently having a problem with the game and I have no idea how to possibly solve it, hope some of you can help me out.
I have LA Noire Complete Edition on my Rockstar account - I've been playing it for a few days on the PC with zero issues. Today however while playing the game suddenly closed itself, and now when I try to restart it I just get a black screen followed by an error message on the rockstar launcher "LA Noire Complete Edition exited unexpectedly".
I tried to run the game in administrator mode, verified the game files, uninstalled and reinstalled the game and even the rockstar social club and launcher itself - no change, same issue. I also have the latest updates for Windows 10 and the latest drivers for my GPU
I just can't understand what possibly could've gone wrong - it had no issues for days and I have not installed any new software, so I doubt it's because of some conflict.
Thanks in advance for any kind of help!
UPDATE:
This is gonna sound crazy, but changing the date of the PC to before the 28th of May completely solved the problem. After changing the date to the 26th of May the game started without issue.
I have absolutely NO idea why the hell this happens. I can only assume that Rockstar royally screwed something up with the launcher that made it stop working past a certain date
I would like to thank u/Teo_Brunetti for sharing the info on how to fix this
UPDATE UPDATE:
Seems like this issue was resolved in the latest Rockstar launcher patch. Happy gaming everyone!
I am trying to fix this bug that prevents me from playing. when I launch the game I get this screen:

I tried rebooting epic games and rockstar games launcher. I tried logging out and back in. and I tried reinstalling rockstar games launcher and the rockstar games social club. I tried restarting my pc. nothing worked. I don't know what happened since yesterday when I last played it.
please help me.
tnx for your time!
Thanks
I have tried to link my account multiple times but I don't get that bonuses
I accidentally linked the wrong account to social club and when I unlink it and try to link a different account, it doesn't give me the option to change it. it just immediately links the same account as before.
I even tried creating a new social club account but when I tried to link a ps4 account it still didn't let me choose and it linked the wrong account.
how in the world do i change my linked account.
