A list of puns related to "Ricardo Gonzalez"
What are your impressions of Ricardo Gonzalez in the Gaia interviews? Are his contact experiences with the Apunians real? If so, would you attend one of his retreats (not that he's currently offering any) for contact experiences of your own?
This went under the radar, but I thought this was a really solid take (in a series of tweets) that you guys would enjoy:

> Let me tell you why Fallout 4's Survival mode is great
> When you're crafting a game world based on a real one, the locations of towns and roads are more-or-less set in stone. These form a nice skeleton to place points of interest and other set pieces around.
> Then NPCs get placed where they make sense, breathe life and dialogue into them, and baby, you've got a living game world going.
> Now here comes the protagonist.
> The protagonist lives in a different world than the one loving crafted for them. They don't see roads; they see quest markers and move in a beeline from A to B. Fast-travel exacerbates this.
> They get to have weapons that actually deal damage, they get to walk up to monsters without dying, they don't suffer (unless they get bored) and they definitely don't sleep.
> The game world is an interesting backdrop, sure, a fun maze containing battles and loot, but ultimately, the player doesn't live in the world so much as they sightsee through it.
> Survival Mode completely flips this.
> Now you get hungry, you get sick. Four or five bullets will end you and lack of easy save-scumming makes each battle a potential night-ender.
> In a real sense, you're no longer a player of the game, you're an NPC, just one that you happen to control.
> Now the game world really starts to make sense. Walking through these trees is dangerous. Man, roads are where it's at, I get it.
> These two people over here found a water pump, two tato plants, and a shack, and just stay there all day. I GET IT; can I move in today?
> Before Survival, characters like Preston seem over-the-top. Okay you poor thing, you have to walk five minutes north and I just did it a spandex suit without breaking a sweat. Now it's like "Jesus man, it took me two hours just to get here, do you have a death wish?" (spoilers)
> Planning how you're going to attack five ghouls and not die takes time. Watching Danse tank twice as many Synths without taking damage, and suddenly you are very seriously considering whether you're all that concerned with synth rights.
> Now you're actually living in the world, everyone's problems suddenly come into focus. How can I possibly stay safe and also find my son? This giant

Popular amongst the Hispanic population in the US, especially in California in Los Angeles where he grew up listening to bands like Los Lobos and Molotov. His biggest idol was the young Ritchie Valens, a teen like himself. Ricardo has seen rising popularity across the US with his Chicano rock style and revival of rockabilly.
In April of 2030, he released his solo album, El Incidente, the Incident in English. Rocking the charts, and played constantly on the radio in Los Angeles. Amongst a crowd of fans, he visited the grave of his hero, Ritchie Valens in Los Angeles. The cheering crowds took a solemn turn, remembering the loss of Ritchie Valens. Someone from another age, not to dissimilar from this one.

Below are the Real Madrid players (and managers) included in the series, listed in chronological order of when they first joined and the years they were in the club.
Football's Greatest Teams - Real Madrid
Alfredo Di Stefano (1953 - 1964)
Clarence Seedorf (1996 - 1999)
Cristiano Ronaldo (2009 - 2018)
The Contenders ( mentions players like Butragueno, Hugo Sanchez, Beckham etc)
Fabio Capello (1996 - 1997, 2006 - 2007)
The quality of some of these isn't the best, but I couldn't find any better alternatives.
Note: I'm in no way putting these players on the same pedestal, I simply included everyone who had played a game for Real Madrid.
Scenario
This "What if" would happen with Alfredo failing his counter before Ippo went down. Ippo would gain Alredo's Ranking as second, however this "victory" would cause kamogawa to have major concerns as Ippo would win it by the skin of his teeth.
Ippo's preparation for the big fight would be way more intense with him still developing the free form Dempsey roll however there would be other key features such as Ippo practicing on overall defending against Ricardo's Jabs so I would see Ippo training with people like Miyata, Itagaki and Sawamura as they have the fastest jabs of the series. I would also see Ippo getting some advice and training from Eiji as he has the most experience fighting against Ricardo so he would be a huge help
The Free Form Dempsey Roll
I think the Free Form Dempsey roll would play a bigger part in the fight, as it is literally a completely new take on the move which would be unfamiliar with Ricardo with it no longer having a fixed pattern.
Outcome
Obviously Ippo will lose as the symptoms of being punch drunk will begin to show itself during the fight and Ippo will ultimately lose with kamogawa throwing in the towel.
I don't know if i'm the only one who noticed it but there certain themes in all three of his lost fights. So this is a Post on Ippo three loses and how every lost fight stands for something.
11th Pro Fight and first Championchip Fight against Date Eiji was when Ippo faced a real one. An Veteran who already experienced the World stage and even had a shot at the Worldtitle. This was a loss because of lacking experience.
25th Pro Fight first time at the world stage against Alfredo Gonzalez. This was a loss to a world class level boxer or in my words an technician monster. Someone that good that the world gave him the name as the uncrowned king. A loss because of lack of technique.
26th Pro Fight and so far his last and in my opinion also most tragic, fight against Antonio Guevara, because here Ippo lost at something he was supposed to be the best, his forte Spirit. Ippo lost in terms of fighting spirit.
I'm not saying that Ippo had zero experience, no technique and didn't give it his best. I'm just saying he lost to three persons who were all top tier in each their own category and if Ippo can make use of his three loses and comeback, step one more time in the ring as a a Veteran someone who experienced the World stage himself, as a better boxer with better use of technique and finally the thing George Morikawa is developing at the time in the Manga, the Monster Mindset or the Takamura Mindset. He would be the worlds best featherweight ever seen and would definitly manage to beat the living legend El Diablo Ricardo Martinez.
Many here on Reddit complained that Wolly is Ricardo’s next opponent, but I’m very happy with this aspect for 3 reasons:
If Sendo had faced Ricardo right now, no matter how powerful his animal instinct is, Ricardo would have slaughtered him. If Gonzalez couldn’t worry Ricardo in two clashes, how do you think Sendo can do it ? (by the way, Gonzalez > Sendo but you’re not ready for this)
Virtually speaking, Wolly is the only character currently known in HNI who could can fight against Ricardo without being ridiculed and beaten to death.
the meeting between Ricardo and Wolly could show the technical gap that separates Ricardo from the various Sendo, Myata, etc. , and in my opinion the gap between Ricardo and the other boxers is too wide (I remind you that Ricardo beat the first of the WBA Rank only with simple Jabs, what the hell are we talking about...)
Definitely think that this fight will be one of the breaking points of the retirement arc. I believe this personally effect Ippo and Sendo the most obviously, but I wanted to discuss how the fight might go and what it sets in the story and beyond.
One thing I realized is ippo right now seems to mirroring Dates path. Date was defeated by Ricardo Martinez and retired for a few years because he wanted to focus on his son. Ippo was defeated by Alfredo Gonzalez (a boxer very similar to Ricardo) and eventually after a 3rd loss afterwards retired because he didn’t want to worry his mother. The “baton pass” scene further pushes this in my opinion. This could mean we see ippo retired for a long time however, maybe even aging him a few years after the rest of his generation hits their ceiling. What are your thoughts? Do you think Ippo will follow a path similar to Dates?
