In Samoa ep 10 “day of reckoning,” the reward challenge is the cradle and flag challenge. Each team puts one (usually the lightest) player in a cradle, while the other 4 players pull on ropes to fly them around to get flags.
The reward is an excursion on a private plane to a private island, incredible lunch, a Sprint phone, and a clue to the hidden immunity idol.
The yellow team is John, Monica, Jackson, Shambo, and Mick. They put JOHN in the cradle, with the rest of them pulling on the ropes.
Purple teams picks Natalie as their flyer, with Danger Dave, Russell, Brett, and Laura flying her. Purple team smokes yellow and beats them 15-10 flags.
Why didn’t yellow put Monica in the cradle? She is tiny. John is a big guy. Is there a different strategy I’m missing here, or did the yellow team just miss the memo?
