A list of puns related to "Re Animator (film series)"
I remember the days when I was nervous, but curious to see the first Rurouni Kenshin film which covered the Tokyo arc as someone who was a fan of the original anime and manga series... It was announced right around the time when I finished middle school and entering high school.
The film blew my expectations out of the water which led me to look forward to future sequels that did its own interpretations of the Kyoto, Jinchu and Remembrance aka Trust and Betrayal arc... The two films that covered the Kyoto arc - Kyoto Inferno and Legend Ends came out right around my senior year in high school and I was not disappointed. Now fast forward to years later I am in college when the Final and the Beginning is released, all films were truly phenomenal works of art in their own right.
I am grateful for these films existing and being apart of my teen to adult years which for the most part captured the heart and spirit of everything I loved about the original source material as a kid... Along with that the live action films have also brought on board many new fans including my family members and friends who previously had zero interest in the Rurouni Kenshin series now want to check out the anime and read the manga series because of the live action films....
But now that the journey is over... I am almost kinda sad -- however if anything I hope these films had re-ignited interest in the Rurouni Kenshin IP and convinces anime studios out there that there are people who would love for a new anime series that faithfully adapts the whole manga series (from the Tokyo arc up until the Jinchu arc) in a similar vein to Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood.
Any other Rurouni Kenshin fan here feels the same as I do?
I want to share pics of these plushies I designed because I was so excited to receive them this week
Allow me to introduce... Purr-bert West! I love the Re-Animator movies, I think they're so charming and I love Herbert and Daniel's dynamic, so I had a lot of fun designing these!
Some neat horror throwbacks.
Been a long enough while since one of these was last done and with today's occasion and festivities, and all of the various Horror series I've marathoned throughout the month I got in the mood, so why not :p Of all of the major, big-name Horror film series listed, which is your single favorite installment in each? Remakes, prequels, spin-offs and crossovers count in any series that has them. Just cut and paste this list and fill each in with your choice. If I forgot any series feel free to add but make sure they consist of at least three entries or more. Two-movie only series (ie. Laid To Rest). don't count)
IMO, the best entry in each series:
Also some additional ones:
I'm sure I left some off. I just listed the major series I remember for the time being. I'm sure a few of my choices are controversial or unconventional. Not to say I dislike the likes of the original Poltergeist or TCM or ROTLD, I just simply enjoyed the sequels or remakes more (and bear in mind, I pretty much consider the likes of Predator 2, ROTLD2 and Poltergeist II equal with the

Kyle, no bull shit, straight up said βThose animations were going to cost $400k to get doneβ but then also said βthe animator said theyβre not worth his timeβ
Pick 1. What fiver bitmoji bull shit animator is turning down $400k?
Edit: havenβt gotten a clip, but Kyle followed up by saying that itβs β$400k for anyone that could get it done in a reasonable amount of timeβ and they couldnβt find anyone to do in the amount of time they want. So rather than communicate effectively or come up with a different goal, they chose to ignore it
Hello Corridor Crew,
We here at r/SkinnyBob saw your recent Boston Dynamics "hoax" video, and we would like to bring your attention to the infamous Ivan1035 and Skinny Bob film series. https://www.youtube.com/user/ivan0135/videos
It is a video series that has existed online since early 2011 and has caused great debate ever since. No one has claimed ownership of the film series whether claiming the content is a hoax or genuine. We have diverse opinions on the topic, but our subreddit has one aim, and that is to find the truth, whatever the truth is; and there is even a current $30,000 reward for definitive proof for the creator, or more video content! We greatly invite you to review the film series to determine how the content could have be fabricated in 2011, and/or alternative hypotheses for the film series' existence.
Some background and details are described below:
First and foremost, we realize that given the topic and your expertise there will be a possibility you may dismiss the content early on. The only honest and hopeful thing we ask is to take the time to really analyze the film series, as no organization has done this beyond just a superficial viewing. This is why we truly feel your group would appreciate the opportunity to review this film series, and how it could have been created, and if this can't be certainly assessed, then perhaps entertain the idea the content could be authentic (whatever the odds that could be).
What we know about the details of the film series gives reasoning and backing to both groups within our subreddit. For those who lean towards the content possibly being authentic, there are a myriad of details within the film series that have been documented (here is a comment that summarizes with individual links some of these details). For those who lean towards the video series being a hoax, we know that filters and artifacts have been applied, overlaying the "physical" video content (These are the only proven facts in 10 years, post 1 and [post 2](https://www.reddit.com/r/SkinnyBob/comments/kn2k1w/th

But Iβve always been curious, if the movie did produce sequels what would TOHOβs other monsters look like if redesigned by Patrick Tatopoulous or the creature designers of the animated series.
β¦specifically because of the epic nature of the film. I went to see it in theatres twice, and both times I was blown away by the cinematography and sound because it translates so well on a big screen with surround sound and everything else that makes the experience truly cinematic.
After seeing the film on D+ yesterday, it just didnβt hit the same. The movie was still great and I thoroughly enjoyed it, but I found myself feeling a little let down during some scenes because they just didnβt feel thatβ¦ epic? Idk, thatβs the best way I can describe it. It just felt muted. The most disappointing part was Arishemβ¦ I went from feeling as small as Ajak when he pooped up in the theatres to feelingβ¦ meh, while watching it on TV.
A series would obviously have allowed more time to flesh out the characters, which appears to be peoplesβ main gripes with the film (that and pacing), but I think they did a pretty good job fleshing out these 10 characters in 2.5 hours. Maybe not all of them, but thatβs gonna happen when youβre essentially doing 10 origin stories.
TL;DR Eternals in the theatre π, Eternals on D+ π
So obviously this is extremely subjective, but are there any series or franchises you can think of where every entry is solid without any entries that you personally dismiss?
For example, many people will dismiss any Terminator entry after T2. Other people reject the Star Wars prequels or sequels. But is there any series you believe got every entry right and is legitimate?
Edit: Yes, I misspelled "canon." To clarify, I'm talking about film series that have the same official continuity, not a "thematic series." Also I'm only asking about films, if you think a film series is great but the TV spin-off or video game is bad, that's okay.
The film is still on shudder, but the Drive-In doesnβt have it or Joe Bobβs commentary. The second part of the feature, Next of Kin, is still there. Any help? I was really looking forward to this episode of the drive in! (Also Audition, episode 2, is gone and the movie isnβt on Shudder). Iβm using the Shudder Samsung TV app, and donβt know if that has anything to do with it. I thought even if the films were unavailable his commentary should still be there. Itβs a little annoying that certain films are just omitted.
Thanks for any help and the drive-in will never die!
I know that this question was posted before but what genre or topic that series and movies here rarely tackle that you want to see?
For Example: A Filipino Cosmic Horror Film but from a religious perspective or a Sci-Fi Thriller Series about a Rich Girl Antagonist in a Telenovela becoming self aware and realizes that there's something wrong with the world she's living in.
Just in time for Halloween. $14.99 hdx

Part 1: Thomas Silhouette Will Return (And Other Predictions)
We're under a week away from RE-ANIMATOR! I updated that post a few times & now I'm back with more! In that first post, I explained what we know about Thomas Silhouette from Get To Heaven, what I think his deal is, and why I think he's made a major comeback on RE-ANIMATOR. Here's where we go into...
--------------------------------------- PROBABLY RE-ANIMATOR SPOILERS ---------------------------------------------
So Far:
We know that Thomas Silhouette is a hidden character on Get To Heaven that we learned of through a series of vague clues and hints. I've deduced that he's Jonathan's "dragon twin" alter-ego: basically a bad and bad-ass version of himself. He's Jon if he had gone into terrorism rather than music. He's driven by general misanthropy but also suffers from delusions and command hallucinations, the latter of which Julian Jaynes attempted to explain as the result of a modern human who has reverted to having a bicameral mind. You know, that hypothesis at the core of RE-ANIMATOR.
I'm pretty sure I'm right about that. But there are a few things I was wrong about too.
Debunked:
