After steadying the ship and leading club to 5th place amid various troubles and disastrous previous season with ever generous smile on his face, it's good to say Manolo has passed the litmus test with distinction from both critics/pundits and fans. But his major test as a coach lies in the performance of the team this season.

Their transfer window has been busy with few outgoings (for fee) and incomings. Their major Indian core has been kept intact except for Wonder boy Liston who was sold for a good amount of transfer fee to their league competitors ATK Mohun Bagan FC and released their foreign players except for Joel and Victor. They had good number of incomings especially in foreign contingent who are experienced in the league. Their domestic squad has good reinforcements in youngsters like gurmeet, rabeeh, aaren and aniket.

Discussion Points

• What is your expected starting XI and formation?
• What is your expected finish in the table?
• Where do you feel that Hyderabad FC strength and weakness lies?

Let us consider Sandesh Jhingan goes abroad, which he most probably will. Not getting into where he is going, let us see what the move holds for Indian football.

1. The ISL is a league that is of the level of the clubs in the Spanish 3rd division. To give context, Ishan Pandita came from Lorca who plays in the Tercera División RFEF which is the 3rd division. So, Indian players should be good enough to play in the clubs of the Spanish 3rd division. And, some of the better players will be of the level of the mid-table clubs in the Spanish 2nd division.
2. Jhingan has offers from Croatia, Austria, and Greece. He might just be good enough to play in these leagues. If we consider effort, bravery, and defending as a whole, he shouldn't find himself out of place. But, where he would face a problem is on the ball. In Europe, a ball-playing CB is a reality and a necessity. It is not a luxury, That is where he might face some problems.
3. Let us consider two situations:
   1. He gets game-time: If this happens then we will see a much improved Sandesh Jhingan in terms of on-the-ball ability and passing because then he would be in that kind of an environment week in and week out.
   2. He doesn't get game-time: As most teams have a set CB pairing, it will be tough for him to break into the team unless one of the CBs is in bad form or is injured. Even if this happens, we will get an upgraded version of the current Jhingan. (This is what basically happened with Gurpreet in Norway as there was a better GK)
4. So, it is a win-win situation for Indian Football. If he doesn't get games there he can come back in 2-3 years and still play in any top ISL club. It will be a huge exposure for him as well.
5. The biggest positive: It will open the door for the young Indians- Suresh, Apuia, Liston, Aakash Mishra, Ashish Rai etc to go and play abroad. It will show the European clubs the level of our players. It will basically be the biggest litmus test for the ISL as now, it has grown to a certain extent and Jhingan is probably one of the better players in the league

For ATK Mohun Bagan

1. Well as a ATKMB fan, I had to put these few points in. ATKMB, aspires to do well on the Asian stage, and having the best Indian defender could have allowed them to play an all-Indian Back 4. But, if Sandesh departs, able replacements have to be brought to the club, for whom, the management has probably already started scouting.
2. Of course, losing Jhingan would be bad but no club is bigge

Mình cứ nửa năm ngứa ngáy cũng phải đi xa 1 chuyến tầm 1 tuần đổ lên, từ dịch đến giờ chưa đi đâu kể ra cũng bức bối :(

Con bạn mình người Đức, thực tập ở công ty cũ năm 2015. Lúc đầu 2 đứa nhìn ko ưa gì nhau vì nó ghét sếp mình, mình trông nó thì nghĩ vàng hoe nên ko bao h chào. Đến gần tháng cuối thực tập của nó thì mới có dịp party của 1 thằng làm chung, rượu vào nhạc lên quẩy quả chán chê xong đi hốc thì mới phát hiện ra 2 đứa mình cũng căm thằng sếp mình lúc đấy, cùng ghét con người yêu bánh bèo của thằng kia và cùng máu điên như nhau. Nó hẹn vài năm sau tao quay lại chơi mày đi với tao nhé.

Sau 2 năm 2017 cả 2 chốt kèo đi Hà Giang. Mình đón nó về nhà ở chung với mẹ mình, nó ko khác gì người Việt ăn cơm trắng với xì dầu, rau muống xào tỏi, sụn gà v.v. 2 ngày đầu đi leo núi Non Nước, xuống Hội An. 2 đứa tính đường đi HG ntn thì tối đấy mua vé tàu hoả 17h ra Hà Nội, lên luôn bus Sapa đến nơi là 3h sáng. Giờ đấy ko có nhà nghỉ nào nên thôi ngồi bãi cỏ bật nhạc chill tạm đến tầm 7h thì đi thuê xe máy, chốt cung đường đi Sapa - Hà Giang, tài xế là nó. Thuê xong nó đèo mình phóng lên Fansipan để leo đỉnh. Lên đấy tụt hơi nhưng mát với đẹp bù lại có sức chiến tiếp. Nó thì lần 2 3 gì đấy đi xe máy, đường thì sạt lở vì mưa, mình ngồi sau ôm balo, xem map, đội GoPro, chỉnh nhạc. Sau 6 ngày về đến HN thì lượn xuống Quảng Ninh cho nó xem tí rồi ra Nội Bài luôn. Hoàn thành chuyến đi tốt đẹp 2 đứa trông ko khác 2 con chó ghẻ. Đi quẩy với nó vài tối xong thì tiễn bạn đi Campuchia cùng trai.

Chuyến đi Myanmar với 18 ae ko quen biết lập hội ở Phượt, kỷ niệm chuyến đấy cũng nhiều.
