Don't give me that 0% interest nonsense. Our generation has been the victim of insane policies including skyrocketing school costs, multiple market crashes, and starvation wages. Forgiving the debt is one way to help assuage some of the damage done to economic health by predatory policies. If they won't do it, we should. I believe if everyone stopped it would flood the servicers to try and garnish all our wages and break their already racist and unfair credit system. I think if we organized this properly it could really be done. If I'm wrong I'm open to other suggestions.

Billions of dollars in PPP loans to churches have been forgiven. Basically religious institutions got free money from the government.
But the government refuses to forgive student loan debt for millions of Americans.
This is so fucked up.
Churches got free money while people suffer under crippling debt.
People deserved that money. Not your local con man who gives a speech twice a week.

So the lecture is dry and somewhat technical but don't worry, here are the Cliff notes:
- The IPCC report has a lot of scientific but also economic data.
- An unbelievable negligent model made it to the report. Basically, while the science says that at 6 Β°C there will be societal collapse, the economics section says that it will merely lower GDP by 8%.
- One of the authors of the report is beyond delusional. This expert (π€‘) literally compared the weather and said that climate change is not factor in generating wealth.
- Politicians are not literate in science, they trust the experts, and the experts tell them that this is not a concern at all. No wonder they ignore so many activists, protests, and the like. They literally think there is nothing to worry about.
- We got here because the Economics discipline is a gigantic group think.
I didn't expect to be posting here often but holy heck, we truly live in the darkest timeline.
It came to light that 52 lawmakers failed to comply with the Stock Act, which aim to prohibit lawmakers insider trading, On being asked, most of them citied clerical errors,oversights,inattentive accountants to report those trades.
The lawmakers who violate the Stock Act would have to pay fine of $200,which can be waived by House or Senate ethics officials.
In short, they are *making *millions by accessing the information they receive because of their position,which they got because of people and trade stocks based on that.
More importantly they are breaking a law and the consequences of doing that is just a fine of $200 and which can be easily waived off.

Failure to do this would be a Felony, Also subject to fines. If you failed to comply with it, then it's your fault and nothing can justify that, you have to face the consequences.
Basically, they made a law to send you prison if you don't comply with it but if they don't comply with the law then they have more than enough reasons to justify that and it's not a big deal because they are "lawmakers"
