A list of puns related to "Protective colloid"
I saw an interesting story yesterday. There is a Chinese farmer named Zhang XiangqianοΌεΌ η₯₯εοΌ who claims to have been kidnapped to an alien planet for a month in 1985. He claimed that the name of the planet was GokοΌζε οΌPinyinοΌ Guo keοΌ.He lives in a village in Lu Jiang County, Anhui Province. According to his introduction. UFO uses an anti-mass field engine, which can reduce the mass of the UFO to 0 or extremely small, so the UFO can maneuver at the speed of light, but the passengers are safe. Since the passenger mass is zero, the acceleration felt is also zero.
The spacecraft can travel at the speed of light and can reach any corner of the universe in an instant, without time, because the distance has been compressed to zero. But an trip usually takes hours, because reducing to zero mass takes time to enter the speed of light and exit.
The engine principle is not very complicated. It is a ring-shaped particle accelerator that uses a high-speed rotating particles to generate an anti-mass field. The spaceship cannot carry too much energy. It relies on the external power supply of the base to obtain the initial state when taking off, and consumes very little energy during the flight.
The structure of the spaceship.
The outside is a torus, and the inside is a conduit for particle acceleration. At the center of the spacecraft is a cylindrical tube that appears to be where fuel (a type of particle) and engines are stored. Passengers stay in the annular area in the middle. The diameter of the ring (section) is about ten meters, which is still relatively spacious. This is a small aircraft.
With zero mass, dust in interstellar space will not cause damage to the spacecraft. But if the volume is too huge, such as a planet, it will cause machine destruction. So they need computers to plan their routes.
In short, their ships are not indestructible.
Some aliens will help humans by the way, but not on a large scale. Just like American don't help Africa on a massive scale. Aliens don't care much about human society, they just come to Earth to find something useful to them.
They also have no love for us earthlings, but they have no intention of harming earthlings either.
In ancient times, they had more contact with earthlings guide earthlings developed. The aliens don't want to teach the earth people their technology at now, because they think that the technology level of the earth people is not far fr

Hereβs the YouTube review: https://youtu.be/LUdhWWA7phE which I do recommend watching because I put in pictures of each sunscreen right after applying it and then 5 minutes after application to show how the whitecast dies down, or doesnβt. Also Iβm giving away the winning sunscreen, and itβs an international giveaway! But if you canβt watch, here are the mini-reviews for each!
I try to avoid drying alcohol and fragrance whenever possible, and I have extremely sensitive eyes, so that colors a lot of my reviews. I have combination skin (oily t-zone, especially in the summer, but my cheeks and chin are dry as hell) and I live in a very cold, dry climate (Northern Alberta). Iβm white, but have intense olive undertones, and I tan like crazy and almost never burn. So that puts me at a Fitzpatrick type 4. Whitecast in sunscreens is a problem for me.
Hereβs the rules I used to pick sunscreens to test:
I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
After a hard day's work, be it as a humble ice miner in the Jovian colonies of the Sol system, an overworked system administrator in an megacorp in Alpha Centauri, or the tyrannical President-For-Life of a interstellar colony, there's nothing like going to the local watering hole and knocking back a few drinks.
What's your poison, my friend?

Every bar that serves it has its own recipe, often including several of the most potent alcoholic drinks in the sector. Ordering this is guaranteed to make everyone in the bar look at you like you're either crazy, stupid, suicidal, or a combination of the three.
Nestar Tea - A tea made from a type of seaweed discovered under the frozen seas of Europa. Sweet with undertones of bitterness, it's often drank at the start and end of pub crawls to reduce the harshness of the hangover the next day.
Gruglok - A greenish-brown spirit favored by the warriors of the Martak system. Has the smell of boiled cabbage and the flavor of burnt toast and gourmet coffee.
Corrollian Swamp Water - Named for its greenish coloration. Despite its off-putting name and appearance, its described as having a pleasantly bitter flavor.
Starlight Stout - A dark beer from the Blue Comet Brewery, the Sol system's first orbital brewery.
Flesheater's Flask - Made from a fungus that grows on the carcasses of certain large predators - pureed, fermented, then distilled - the drink is believed by many to deliver an hourlong burst of physical strength at the expense of a sharp headache later. Scientists describe the effect as psychosomatic, but its fans are not convinced. [u/gnurdette]

Comet Tears - a dilute colloid of comet dust in slightly sweetened grain alcohol. Has a metallic tang. [u/gnurdette]

Ok, so go look up these citations and read them. If you can sift through the Latin and immunology, microbiology, organic chemistry, genetics, and other biological studies - then youβll quickly find all the proof you need and then some.
Anytime any vaccinated person is questioned you should read even one of these studies.

Alot of great jokes get posted here! However just because you have a joke, doesn't mean it's a dad joke.
THIS IS NOT ABOUT NSFW, THIS IS ABOUT LONG JOKES, BLONDE JOKES, SEXUAL JOKES, KNOCK KNOCK JOKES, POLITICAL JOKES, ETC BEING POSTED IN A DAD JOKE SUB
Try telling these sexual jokes that get posted here, to your kid and see how your spouse likes it.. if that goes well, Try telling one of your friends kid about your sex life being like Coca cola, first it was normal, than light and now zero , and see if the parents are OK with you telling their kid the "dad joke"

But no, seriously. I understand rule 7 is great to have intelligent discussion, but sometimes it feels like 1 in 10 posts here is someone getting upset about the jokes on this sub. Let the mods deal with it, they regulate the sub.

Hi there, it's me again. I've been doing more research into sebderm.
Here is a useful summary of what I have found. This is a supplement to my earlier post (https://www.reddit.com/r/SebDerm/comments/qrc53i/how_i_got_severe_sebderm_and_hair_loss_under/).
I'm prompted to do more research today because my earlier protocol is way too strong and not suitable for long-term use. It's a great emergency protocol though.
The summary (focusing on external factors only)
In order to manage/treat sebderm (whether on scalp or face) in the most effective way possible, there are five things we need to do:
However, most dermatologists are getting getting 1/5 or 2/5 of the story by prescribing different anti fungal shampoos e.g. zinc pyrithione, selenium sulfide, and ketoconazole. Some will prescribe clobetasol for treating the inflammation. In order to solve the problem at its root, all five components must be tackled.
More on 1. biofilm
Biofilms are formed when malassezia, the overgrowth of which causes sebderm, adhere to surfaces and excrete a glue-like substance to protect themselves from antifungals. The biofilm can make them up to 1000 times more resistant to antifungals. This is why the antifungals prescribed by derms only work for a while. Without tacking the biofilm problem, upping the concentration of harsh chemical will only further destroy our skin barrier, which is the root cause of our sebderm.
To disrupt the biofilm, xylitol at 5% has been clinically proven to be effective, so is selenium sulfide. However, the problem with selenium sulfide is that it's a harsh chemical that may further destroy our skin barrier. I've ordered a biofilm shampoo from the biotech company listed below (disclaimer: not affiliated). It came up when I was searching for sebderm biofilm shampoo.
More on 2. killing the fungus
Avoid any products that may feed malassezia. And use an anti fungal. Many things will do, e.g. MCT oil without lauric acid, ciclopirox, and ketoconazole. I think garlic and sea salt would also work.
More on 3. replenishing our skin barrier
There is actually a study that shows that a glycerol-containing leave-on scalp treatment reduces dandruff ([https://www.researchgate.net/publication/264904431_

I'm a fan of the texture and finish of this product. It sinks right in, is light weight and moisturizing. The texture feels very velvety smooth on the skin. I look forward to applying it every single morning. Though I admit, it isn't moisturizing enough for the present scenario (-8C to -15C) and with topicals like tret and aziderm. When I'm at home, this one is sufficient to last me through the day and did help with the flaking I'd been experiencing. When I'm heading out during the daytime, I lather a layer or two of Bioderma Creme/Baume or CeraVe cause this alone won't be enough. At night, I use it as a base layer before going in with prescribed treatments.
Watery, fragrance-free and super calming. I love this tonique more than I thought I would. Skin immediately feels supple and cool. Post application I could clearly see the flare-up calming down. The only thing I hate is its unavailability here. Nykaa has it in stock in India in case anyone wishes to try it.
One of the best products out there for dry/parched skin. Period.I use it post shower on days I'm heading out. But when the temperature drops below -8, I feel like re-moisturizing 6.5-7 hours post application. My partner has flaky palms and nothing calms his itchy flaky skin as this does.
It isn't as light-weight as I'd like but my dry skin has been loving it. It didn't break me out and with regular usage, I could see a glow. I use a just drop on damp skin. It is moisturizing on it's own but I haven't noticed any other difference that others seem to. I also go in with the FAB cream if I'm at home. The price point for the quantity is hurtful.
This gel serum is definitely my holy grail. I've been using it since August 2021 and noticed positive changes in my skin with this one. The gel sits sticky on the
