No bias here, I really feel like it’s down to Bill Hader, Donald Glover and maybe Larry David. Hopefully Hader takes it home for his performance this season but I can definitely see Glover winning after another great season of Atlanta.
Not merely for “Outstanding Animated Program”. I mean, the main one, right next to shows like 30 Rock and Flight of the Conchords. The first cartoon since The Flintstones. Keep in mind: The Simpsons and South Park, in their respective golden ages, never got that honor. Not only that, but Family Guy got this during its 7th season, the season the show officially became bad. Whatever your feelings on the show itself, this is more proof that the Emmys, like all awards, are utter bullshit.
The Ringer won a Sports Emmy for Outstanding Digital Innovation for its production of “NBA Desktop”.
