Does anyone know the evaporation rate per unit of land for water/waste? I'm not looking at building a practical establishment just leveled land, floodwalls and human waste.

I’ve been working on being less airy in my singing, and I’ve seen a few tutorials online that suggest what I think is a glottal onset. One video said to do an exaggerated “Uh oh!” or “No way!” at your desired starting note and then sing the song’s line with a similar technique.

I’ve tried it a bit and I believe it helps a ton. It gives my voice a lot more power.

However, of course, I’ve seen tutorials that say glottal onsets are evil and will kill your voice forever.

Honestly I got no clue what is true. Any advice?

Before you scream at me, I've done a little bit of testing. I've been in this house for 2 years now and I've noticed I haven't had to change the upstairs return filter very often. I think I've changed it 2-3 times since I've been here. There just isn't any air being drawn through it so its never dirty. I've noticed when i block the basement return I can actually feel air being drawn through the upstairs return.

Some days the delta between my basement temp and my 2nd floor temp can be 10 degrees!

I'm just worried that the smaller 2nd floor return won't be enough to supply the blower, but I didn't notice a drop in output from my vents when I blocked the basement return.

Is this foolish? I would only feel comfortable testing it while I would be at home all day just in case the evap coil freezes up or something...

I know the proper fix is to get my system zoned but if this would work just the same and without risk of damaging my blower motor over time then I'm definitely up to trying it!

I started working at a fast-food chain where I am responsible for breading chicken and frying it. However, my parents are worried that I may develop respiratory problems as a result of me inhaling breading flour particles in the air or the evaporated oil. Is this a real concern? Or are my parents just being sceptical? If it is a real concern, how do I go about addressing it with my manager? Thanks.

It seems pretty clear the exponential price action last year was all based on hype surrounding GME rumours, there was no actual substance to it therefore the price isn't holding up. The market cap to TVL ratio is still high at 4.5 so I don't see this downtrend ending anytime soon without any new catalysts. If you compare this to another hyped coin like CRO, which saw a meteoretic rise and who's price has stabilized since then (especially if you look at the CRO/BTC pair), you can see that LRC is nowhere near a bottom. I could easily see Loopring dropping below $1 again, assuming no significant BTC movements happen.

And yet, all I see on this sub is more threads shilling the coin and doses of hopium about the long term potential? Nobody is seriously discussing price action over the last two months which is a huge concern to me. I'm not arguing that Loopring is a dead project, far from it, but the short term price prospects are very meagre. Everyone should decide what to do for themselves i.e. risk management, but I don't see any value in bagholding it when there's no end in sight for the downwards trend.

Don't get me wrong, I see huge potential in ZK roll ups and in particular LRC for the next five years eventhough I don't own it myself. In fact, I'm looking for this downtrend to end so I can buy it when it eventually consolidates. Since Loopring is by far the most shilled coin on this sub , I feel bad for the ones that FOMO'd in after the price rise in early November. These people are seeing their gains evaporate like snow in the sun or are suffering big losses. Maybe an announcement by Gamestop at the end of this month or during the next earnings call will stop this downtrend, but I don't see it stopping anytime soon before that.

EDIT: To anyone commenting that price doesn't matter, well it does. Let me put it this way, if LRC is $1.35 and you feel like it will move below $1 in the short term: you should absolutely sell because you can increase your holdings for the long term with 35%

It seems to me based on films I have seen, many of them are unknowingly promoting rape culture. In one very popular film I rewatched recently (Superbad), Jonah hill jokes that parties are for getting girls really drunk so they’ll sleep with you.

With recent personal events this shocked me that such a popular film would joke about something like that and normalise it. If you sleep with someone (whether it’s a man/woman) who is blackout drunk and likely would never even consider sleeping with you sober THAT IS RAPE, there was no consent.

Many people think being spiked looks like you’re really drunk, unable to speak or walk but the reality is often VERY different. They can make you euphoric, lose inhibition, increase sense of connection with others, influence decision making and increase libido. If the spiker knows what they’re doing it can be so hard to spot and it’s so important to look out for your friends and ANY indication they may have been spiked GET TESTED ASAP. These drugs only stay in your system for a few hours and we need to start catching these bastards!

I want to caveat the below by stating that I do not think a potential hyperinflation in the U.S. would look the exact same as Weimar Germany. What factors contribute to a coins/projects survival? For example, if people feel that ETH is something to believe in, why would it vanish during times like this? Why would a lower priced coin like GRT potentially die?

So the chart looks pretty ugly. Looks like we now have no more support all the way down to $120 and then the 200 day EMA at $115 is next. Below that looks like $100. This looks like there is so much pain here. My swing trader algo officially turned bearish which is crazy that even with all of the recent selling it still was within reason for normal range. I might need to change the code bc it definitely seemed to lag a bit here.

So yesterday I did a thing: I sold out of my XLNX position. I'm not one of those people that preaches to everyone to hold the line while I'm selling out. So I'm being open and honest. I sold my 600 remaining XLNX shares at $194 yesterday. And I absolutely plan on buying back in but I think its going to go lower from here. I had an AVG cost basis of $149 for the shares so I made a GREAT profit. Could be leaving money on the table if we get approval soon but I don't think its going to happen for the following reasons:

-AMD had to re-file approval paperwork with US regulators. Now there is ZERO reason to expect that they won't get approval again but its easy to see that this is a potential speed bump to slow things down that means China has all the time in the world to continue to wait it out

-Lisa said by the end of the first quarter. All reports show that AMD has offered potential fixes to the very few problems Chinese regulators had and there is no reason for approval not to be granted. So why is it not being approved yet? What is this hold up? What is the big deal?

-I would argue this is political now. China is 100% focused on the Olympics which start in just a week and that is going to be a HUGE undertaking for the country in the age of Covid. I don't think they promise anything until they get through the Olympics. China cares soooo much about how it is viewed on the global stage that they are looking to pull this off without a hitch. We know that China ultimately has a very small group of people at the top making a majority of the decisions in a variety of industries so I would argue that expecting this to be approved as the nation switches its focus is going to Olympics means very little focus on this deal approval.

-If Olympics goes well and Xi is pleased then I think we get approval shortly after. But with different countries boycotting games with no diplom

Christian Theology and Valentinian Gnosticism

The main scripture of Christianity is the Christian Bible, which is an anthology of texts that describe the religion's dogmas, the journey/relationship humanity has with God, and different accounts of what is believed to be historical events. The Bible is divided into the Old and New Testaments.

• The Old Testament includes the creation myth, how God guided the Israelites, and the books of wisdom. All of it has pretty heavy reminders of God's anger and the consequences of turning away from him.
• The New Testament introduces Jesus and his teachings. God here is presented as benevolent and kind, with his son, Jesus, bringing light and salvation to humanity. Jesus is pacifistic, non-judgmental, and pure, serving as a prophet to his Father.

Now, the problem that happens a lot when one examines Biblical text is that it's often difficult to reconcile the God described in the Old Testament (righteous, vengeful, warmongering) with the God of the New Testament (benevolent, forgiving, pacifistic).

And so, branches of Gnosticism arose from this paradox. How could an all-good and all-loving God do and allow such evils? Simple. You declare that he is neither of those things. He is the Demiurge, a false God that leads humanity away from enlightenment. This is why the early Christians denounced Gnosticism as heresy.

However, some branches of Gnosticism have beliefs that align with Christianity—Valentinian Gnosticism being a prominent example.

Hello, everyone! I know that there are so many debates about how good or not good idols supposedly are as singers; LOONA are not exempt from those debates. I was fortunate enough to talk to two classically trained singers and ask about a few of our girls. Sadly, I couldn't ask them about ALL the members of LOONA because I didn't have a lot of time.

I opted to show them LIVE AND RECENT (mostly from 2021, a few from 2020) clips of Heejin, Haseul, Kim Lip, Jinsoul, Yves, and Chuu singing because they're the ones people talk about the most when it comes to vocals. Due to my lack of time in showing them clips and asking them for opinions, this won't be super comprehensive with the finest details about technique or whatever. But it's still a lot of interesting professional opinions.

Edit: I'll answer questions in replies when I'm less tired but I just wanted to say that ofc pop is very different from classical! But I know people appreciate classically trained singers' opinions. • I don't think the market fully appreciates just how good of a shot PLBY has at pulling this off, and how much money it can pull in.
• The big risks: execution. Centerfold website could suck, could be delayed, the creators that come on board could be underwhelming, etc.

There's a Forbes article (google: "Cardi B Playboy") that came out, too. My favorite quote:

Basically, this announcement is a huge win. It ups the brand image of PLBY and makes it more likely that creators join Centerfold. It also shows management is really going all in on Centerfold, and that they're serious about creating a platform that serves creators.

My previous DDs go in depth about how Centerfold vs Onlyfans is *not* like Mixer vs Twitch: Mixer/Twitch rely on the network effect -- more viewers means more creators, means more viewers, etc. CF/OF only requires creators -- more creators, more subs... plain and simple. The creators bring their own audience through hustling... and who better to represent creators than Cardi B?

"I see him," I announced. "His magic signature was behind the elemental's body!"

"Is he okay?" Atlas asked.

"It's like... a ball of magical energy around him," I squinted. "Actually... it could be the stasis field bringing him back to life right now. I can't tell yet."

Suddenly the magical signature changed from a round object back to a human form. He was on his feet and moving his body around.

"No, wait! I think it was some kind of defensive spell! He's casting kinetically right now!"

"Oh, Axle," Fena folded her hands. "Thank goodness!"

A ball of magical light appeared over his shoulder. Then another over his head, then one under his arm, and before I knew it he was surrounded by several floating orbs, each shining brightly like diamonds. His magic was fluctuating wildly at different points in his body as the orbs began to rotate around him.

"His reserves are diminishing rapidly!" I informed Atlas and Fena. "I don't know what's about to happen, but you better not blink!"

"I still can't see anything!" Atlas whined.

"Something bright is happening in there," said Fena as she stared into the dust cloud. "What is he doing??"

Suddenly the orbs all shot forward and out of the dust cloud, surrounding the rock elemental the same way they had surrounded Axle just seconds ago. The confused creature started swatting at the orbs, but they didn't appear to be tangible.

"THAT'S A SPELL!!" Edwin cried out. "HE'S ALIVE!!"

The crowd came unglued; it was clear they had a favorite at this point.

Axle began moving around again from within the cloud, but it had cleared to a degree that you'd be able to make out his form with the naked eye. He turned his body sideways and threw both of his arms toward the elemental, a beam of radiant magic energy exploding from his fingertips. The beam of light collided with one of the orbs, then lept from that orb through the elemental into another orb! Things have been quite volatile, and I’m wondering why, it has never been so easy. Before RELI I sat on the sidelines in absolute shock as ticker after ticker popped off for 20-40% and were called “squeezes.”

So, I’m like ok, if this is the environment let me introduce a stock that I think can really move and let’s see what happens. So, I highlighted $RELI a shit stock with promise. A stock that was on one of my lists that was acting a little funky. $RELI performance really surprised me. The metrics were there and I expected the moonshot to be very aggressive, however I did not anticipate it would be that quick, almost a $CARV type moonshot, and $CARV was a special stock.

Why is this happening?

My thoughts bring me to a JP Morgan analyst report, not made by some bozo who graduated with a 2.8 in psychology and loves to shotgun and swipe right, but some russian PhD in a suit Marko Kolanovic:

I think whoever is shorting these stocks have been so successful that they to want to lock in profits eoy, so they are getting fucking spooked in the low liquidity environment. Now go through your list of past hits MRIN (up 10%), CARV (up 6%), GREE (up 10%), NEGG (5%) even trash stock AEI (up 5%). How about new squeeze stocks ISPC (31%), PTPI(20%), PPSI(18%), AHPI(15%) ….sounds like holiday cheer no?

Warhammer 40,000 is a setting. It is a world, a universe, or an environment in which the various events of the "grimdark future" take place. It is a time and place, with defined boundaries, conventions, and norms, and the various characters and agents undertake actions within it. It is the stage upon which numerous dramas are enacted - where heroes rise and fall, where armies clash, and where ideological groups vie for supremacy in endless conflict.

Warhammer 40,000 is not a story; it is a universe which contains and facilitates stories. It is the world in which stories happen, not the story itself. A theatre is not a play, and a universe is not a story. 40k - as a setting - informs the stories which take place within it, but is not overall moved by them. No matter the conflicts that happen, or the stories that resolve, the status quo of 40k remains fundamentally unchanged:

• The Imperium is a stagnant monolith which echoes former glory.
• The ancient Eldar cling to the remnants of their advanced civilisation.
• The Tau are vibrant upstarts facing an uncertain future.
• Chaos is a nightmare constantly on the verge of becoming real.
• The Orks are an anarchic force of nature.
• The Necrons are the sleeping giant which begins to wake.
• The Tyranids are the encroaching tempest which is just starting to be felt.

This is the stage against which every 40k story is set. All events which happened prior Warhammer 40,000's "present day" serve to inform the setting as it has always existed. The War in Heaven, the Fall of the Eldar, the Horus Heresy, the Spheres of Expansion, the Age of Apostasy, the Black Crusades, the Badab Wars... all of these events are contributors to the nature of 40k as we understand it. They do not alter the setting, but form and strengthen the foundations of it.

Prior to the end of 7th Edition, a lot of impetuous 40k fans were clamouring for Games Workshop to "add to the 40k story" - to push Warhammer 40,000 out of M41, to see the conclusion of the 13th Black Crusade, and so on. While i can understand this desire - we all love "more Warhammer" - i believe that it was fundamentally misguided.
The core essence of "What Makes 40k" is that everything is poised at "One Minute to Midnight" - Chaos is on the verge of gaining a foothold in realspace, the Necrons begin to awaken, the lost Primarchs may soon return, the Golden Throne is failing, the Orks stand to unify into the strongest Waaagh! ever, Ynnead threatens to awaken and defeat
