As things are shifting back to remote because of covid and the cold and we all shift back toward delivery, I wanted to share our story with u/Doordash over the last few months.
It's a story that has cost our team over 40 hours on the phone,100+ emails, and cost us over $30,000 in lost revenue. It involves illegal contracts, fraud, and the strongarm tactics used by Doordash to squeeze out the small independent restaurants.

TL;DR: Doordash is using Deactivation to strongarm small independent restaurants into signing illegal contracts at 2x commission rates to boost their own bottom line. Doordash Customer Support Software is so poorly structured and monitored that agents can easily add fraudulently full admin users to restaurants' merchant accounts without authorization or approval. Doordash is exploiting its small merchant partners, just as bad as it exploits its own employees.
