I've been watching quin since about 2016 and I've always been particularly keen to watch during the variety portion (whenever he quits Poe). I've always skipped the first two or so hours of stalling which still left a solid amount of time for some high quality gameplay with quin generally choosing easily approachable games that chat can enjoy. Lately I feel like the entire structure of the stream has shifted. There is no longer an emphasis on gameplay and going through the exhaustive variety game list put together by mods or any objective whatsoever other than stalling and reading donos. Games that quin said he would play a year ago sit in the dust while he queues up the 4th JCS video of the stream. It truly is a shame he cannot see what great content he made in the past (how many clown clips have you seen with no gameplay in them?).
After a couple of thousand hours on Steam, the recent outcry and review bombing, etc, baffles me. People seem to forget that Path of Exile is a free game, with free updates not even Blizzard can compete with.
I think many of us can agree that Path of Exile is one of, if not the best, game out there. Especially in its genre. The meta is always changing so there's no need to be dramatic.
PS. I say it's free because it's very possible to play for hundreds of hours before you know you want to invest in larger stash.
We just moved to a new city, and waited all of one week after moving in to visit the shelter. We found this sweet brown and white mix breed doggo. He's been so chill, mostly just naps, pretty good on walks, but gets a little excited and bark-y when he sees other dogs. He's lyme positive, and we're treating him antibiotics. We're so dang proud of this guy and how comfortable he's become since joining our family. Hope y'all are ready for more pictures of this guy and his hound dog eyes.
