I am playing as Egypt, formed Hellinistic Empire and the achievement got locked, I am pretty sure this is not how things are meant to be
Hi! Iβm V and I run the YouTube channel hexxx13. I recently posted a video on a problem I think DND 5e has caused for the ttrpg system, namely itβs players unwillingness to try other systems and their tendency to just homebrew the game instead.

What are your thoughts?
There are a number of revelations in here about things that you might have always believed about economics that seem obvious or commonplace, but didn't actually happen

Its like a wet dream, they are nazi apologists at least.
No, you dont know more than the high command of the German army.
History doesnt work like that, Is not strictly because A B. Nazis were 20 km away from Moscow, they could have taken it. This argument disregards the merits of the red army.
Its so fucking easy to tell what someone had to do after seen the result.
While there are obnoxious people in every social media platform, quora is particularly toxic, with people being full of intellectual superiority, smugness and obnoxiousness. People there think they are experts and even the way they speak is full of obnoxiousness, and lack the humility that is needed of a true intellectual, that acknowledges both the limits of one's knowledge and the complexities of so many questions.
Does anyone else feel the same?
I guess "live service" is probably the right term(although with a couple more specifics - see below), but trying to avoid the circlejerk about it - some of them(like my examples) are good and fun.
I just realized that nothing new like this has come out in forever(barely) - unless I've missed it? I think Division 2 is the only one to come out in somewhat recent years. Anything I'm missing?
To be more specific, I'm not wanting traditional MMOs and not something that's 90% pvp. EDIT: By pseudo-mmo, I mean that there's some form of large community in-game where you can group up, or trade, ask for help, etc.
Welcome to day 11 of my series where I list the funniest, the strangest, and the downright weirdest one-star Google reviews for MLB ballparks: Previously:
but today: the city of Angels of Anaheim - home to one of the oldest MLB ballparks on the West Coast, and probably not the worst one. At least not for another few years.

> I ordered the "angel dog", it had to be the worst experience of my entire life. Aside from its utterly uncharming visual appeal, its taste was that of a microwaved "Dollar Tree" hot dog -you know, the ones where you pay $1 for the entire pack? This βAngel Dog" was do apalling that I actually just missed Simmons' two-run home run in the bottom of the 6th because I was so passionately displaying my hate for the βAngel Dog". Unbelievable.
Rule number 1 of going to any new ballpark: do not buy the TeamName Dog. Itβs always going to suck.
> First and last time I'll attend, very nice place loved it but not until my husband went to buy beer the cashier didnt want to sell it because he didnt have a USA i.d. ,makes me mad just because he has a Mexican passport.
If Iβm some 20 year old working at a ballpark, no way Iβm acc

What was the endgame here? I bet you, I double-bet you: your top academic publications do not include large-scale field experiments attempting to manipulate informed retail investors. You know why? Because this research objective would be a disgrace for science, and any human being with one drop of brains and decency would use their skills for much much better. But more fundamentally, your hypothesis would be flawed. Let me explain, as apparently you have been unable to understand.
We can see you from far, far away:
Listen, we are self-regarding investors, who have individually chosen to learn more and be informed about this stock (and we like it), and for a year or so we have rationally decided to buy, hodl, and register. It get's better: we are different types of players: we have a diversity of demographics, values, financial literacy, and economic motivations. And yet, we all draw the exact same conclusion: our strategy makes sense.
Yes, this is what both you and us call a DOMINANT STRATEGY. That's the equilibrium baby; there's no equillibria here my friends.
So your strategy was costly and did not work. Did you kill our motivation? Nope, look at how active we are posting and upvoting. Furthermore, look at the atmosphere: we want this, we have fun while we wait, and you are a stupid meme. For reals: your behavioral science is a joke.
Do not call yourselves scientists. Remove that from your office desk and door. You are a disgrace, and embarrassment, both in terms of enlightenment and skill. You are ineffective, and your supervisors should dispose of you.
By the way, do not dare to return to academia. If you do, hide your prior experience, it's embarrassing to say the least.
Happy Festivus pseudo-scientists!

... keep reading on reddit β‘I think we all heard about the theory of SMT V being a sequel to Nocturne. The whole 18 years, the numerous amounts of small references from demons, the amala drum, the sphere in the sky, and so on. Its not a true sequel since its stated that the fiends are from another universe, but its clear that something similar did happen. (And even then it goes back to "Is SMT IV a sequel to SJ because demonica" when its clearly just fanservice not meant to be taken seriously).
I don't like to count DLC as canon, especially in a game that seems to wave around "hey look, nocturne" fanservice when it gets the chance, but the only way i would accept that the Lucifer and Demifiend we see at the end of TDE are the same as we see in SMT V would be to explain how Lucifer beat YHVH. Because there is no way I will believe Lucifer can straight up kill YHVH. He just says YHVH is slain and peaces out. However if I was told Lucifer & Demifiend together beat YHVH, I can totally believe that.
(I will also not believe that Demi-Fiend can beat YHVH by himself either because I doubt Demifiend is that much stronger (if at all) than Lucifer given TDE events)
I just finished watching Tatami Galaxy, and as many of you know it's quite abstract in its artwork, concepts, and theme.
That said, I understand what the anime is about but to many people's surprise, still don't think it's a masterpiece.
Yet from comments I've read, as well as reviews, there seems to be a notion that Tatami Galaxy is great because of the abstract nature, and that those who don't deem it a 9 or 10 are simply not educated enough to appreciate the symbolism, literary devices, themes, etc.
Same thing I've noticed with Monogatari, which I enjoy very much but can understand if people don't.
Many of these anime like Tatami Galaxy and Monogatari seem to have fans that will rate any abstract / complex anime 9 or 10 solely because they are abstract / complex. They seem to rationalize that the harder something is to interpret, the better it is, often even making up things to analyze that probably have no meaning.
Just something I've noticed in the comments or reviews of these types of anime. I can't help but feel many of the viewers try to feel superior over others by rationalizing that only those intelligent enough can appreciate the random elements of an anime.
