A list of puns related to "People Mountain People Sea (label)"
Jesus claimed that those who believe in him would be able to literally tell a mountain to move into the sea and it would be done. That a believer would be able to do feats like these and greater. Yet we see absolutely none of those physics-defying things that Jesus said any believer who has even the tiniest amount of faith could do. "Moving mountains" is often used as a metaphor these days, ignoring (or more likely ignorant of) the fact that Jesus was saying it completely literally. Even if the most ardent Christian commanded a mountain to do thatβwhich is something that could easily be testedβnothing would happen.
EDIT: And to those who say "Oh it was a metaphor", remember when Jesus withered the fig tree? He used similar language to his disciples saying if they had faith in him they'd be able to do as he just did with the fig tree and more. Why accept that as literal (which again Christians should be able to do easily yet do not), and yet hand-wave a moment with very similar wording as metaphorical? And if all of that is supposed to be metaphorical/allegorical, how can we take the Garden, Exodus, the Flood, etc. as literal as well?
Hi guys,
Hope you're all well. I'm a music nerd and a bit of a music historian, trying to locate virtually any copy of a reggae band Big Mountain's video to their 1997 single, "All Kinds Of People". I remember seeing it several times in late '90s on a German music channel, Viva Zwei.
It's really strange what's happening with regards to this particular music video: there seems to be no trace of it on the Web at all, even though Big Mountain were relatively big in their own time: their 1994 single ["Baby, I Love Your Way"] (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IWIxA7M_-ZA) (a cover of Peter Frampton's song that got included on the sountrack to Ben Stiller's film "Reality Bites" with Ethan Hawke) was a #6 on Billboard Hot 100 in the US, in addition to hitting #1 in Denmark, Spain & Sweden, #2 in Canada, Switzerland, Iceland & UK, #4 in Australia, Austria, Netherlands & New Zealand, and hitting Top 10 in a multitude of other countries, ultimately ending up one of the biggest hits worldwide in 1994.
"All Kinds of People" seems to have charted only in Germany, making it to #75 on their Top 100 - but it's still been huge enough to get some rotation on the music channels back in the day.
Interestingly enough, I've had a chance to talk to the vocalist of the group a few months ago, but he was unable to source the video - he confirmed it exists though, which was a bit of a relief as at some point I started doubting myself with all this. We've spoken a few times about it, and interestingly enough each time my questions if it's the record label blocking it from the release were completely ignored, as if he didn't want to discuss the subject in any more detail.
After years and years of unsuccessful searching (even asking directly at the source), it seems to me that indeed, the record label has clamped down on the video big time. Not sure why, however. I've traced, located and seen far more obscure videos from completely unknown acts, either on torrents or even on YouTube in the past 15 years or so, yet this particular one has never resurfaced in any way. More so, it doesn't even appear to be a trace of the actual video anywhere, in the form of stills, screengrabs, any entry in any database of music videos like imvdb.com, fmusictv.com, or similar.

There is a i shouldent be alive show on discovery channel where people survive natural disasters im looking for something like that.
I already listen to 3 shows about survival but they are grim as hell. Like surviving serial killers and other crazy attacks. I want something less human on human violence lol
Considering the air is thinner up there and thicker down here.
