Inspired from reading about Frazier losing to Foreman twice and despite already experiencing his first strategy of rushing in as ineffective, he used the same exact tactic in his second fight with George.
How hard is it to change strategies and tactics? I mean for example people criticize Ricky Hatton for going toe-to-toe with Pac-Man well in fact he should have been on the defensive and avoid slugging it out with him. Or how Mike Tyson would lose in his later years because he kept insisting on using his Peek A Boo style despite growing old and lacking the energy he once had as a youth. People say Tyson should have adopted a more conservative boxing style. Or how Floyd Peterson never built up his strength and thus lack the punching power that could have made him avoid losing the title.
Why is it so hard for fighters to change styles esp in tactics and strategy? Is it as easy as many of us bystanders often criticize and seem to assume? I mean George Foreman is praised as a boxer who was able to adapt in his old age by learning real boxing skills and learning patience to make up for his loss in speed, stamina, and peak strength and thus he became champion once more. Why is it hard for even young fighters starting their career to do this?

Bad Boy had numerous music show wins, significantly more than Peek a Boo. However, in my personal opinion, I find Peek a Boo to be a better song that deserved a lot more hype that Bad Boy.
- Concept: Let's get this straight, both concepts are darker and mature. Peek a Boo had a certain level of artistry; the plot of the MV (theories such as rv being a cult since each member had a certain weapon) had an interesting ending (missing pizza boy). Other than Bad Boy being a "baddie" type concept; it wasn't anything special. Usually their MVs have a lot of clones of themselves, shots of RV sitting at tables, weird animations that just stand out.
- Song: This is all based on preference. Personally, I like certain verses and the bridge of Bad Boy, but I felt the chorus didn't live up to the verses of the song. Peek a Boo had a funky beat for the chorus, I like Wendy's high note (is it technically the high note?) during the bridge and one of my favorite parts is Yeri's rap part. Overall, I found Peek a Boo to be more musically interesting than Bad Boy, because the different concepts/song genres that RV experiment with is what is their selling point as a kpop group.
- Fashion: I think we collectively can agree that Joy in that rainbow dress and her red dress in MAMA was showstopping. The outfits matched the song, in its maturity. EVERYONE looked good in this era, Yeri's short hair was killer and Seulgi with them bangs!! The stylist team did a phenomenal job with this era b/c their outfits were unique in their style, color or fit. Seulgi's pantsuit, the sequins (not common in kpop) on their dresses, and the iconic red dresses!! Bad Boy seemed to follow a typical sexy/girl crush image, with a lot of black jeans, chains and stockings. So many other kpop groups use the same styling for their concepts, so it wasn't something unique. I personally dislike when stylists use a lot of black for idols; there are so many colors to dress them in and you're still gonna play it safe?
- Choreography: I do not think either song is one of the top choreos for RV, so to me, they are about equal. The only thing that stands out to me in Peek a Boo is the sign they make with their hands when Yeri's singing "Peek a Boo...seollel ttaeman" and the formation during Yeri's rap part.
Overall, I don't see why there is a lot of hype around Bad Boy, when Peek a Boo was just as good (or even better).
Namesake: Peek-A-Boo by Red Velvet Localized Name: I'm Over Here!
Appearance: γPeek-A-Booγ is a humanoid resembling a human woman. It has black hair in a long ponytail and white skin. Its eyes are covered by a crimson blindfold, her other facial feature are human as well. Its skin is white and it wears a red dress down to her knees, as well as thigh-high stockings in black and red high-heels.
Ability: The user of γPeek-A-Booγ can turn invisible, along with the stand, for about 15 seconds. To recharge this timer, they have to exclaim "Peek-A-Boo!", which will turn them visible briefly. The louder they speak, the longer they will stay invisible. Everyone in audible range is forced to turn their attention to the user.
