The disease is 'COVID-19', and the World Health Organization (WHO) is responsible to name this disease. The name of the virus is 'SARS-Coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2)'.
Now that this is established, this research paper reminds us how serious the current situation is. This is a global pandemic and a disaster. And even after it reaches post-peak levels, this pandemic will transform into a local endemic and will persist. This is a deep cautionary tale. In summary, we cannot go on like this. There are fundamental issues that must be resolved.
We were well aware of the findings presented in this paper. For instance, we knew that the contagion can spread asymptotically and this research provides indisputable proof. An asymptomatic patient could further spread this virus for 5 days or more and that the virus is the most resilient when symptoms begin to show. Threat vectors were also analyzed, and the nose is much more vulnerable than the mouth.
