I was feeling nostalgic last night, sifting through the wiki's stat comparisons of every weapon in the game. I was looking for a weapon with very exact stats. Minimal recoil, a fast reload, and a semi-auto trigger with a fire rate of exactly 180rpm.
Now I know what you're thinking. You're thinking "dude why?" and the answer is simple. See, like many recently awakened Tenno, I used to play Destiny. More specifically, I played Destiny 1, almost every single day for two years, and for much of that time I had one very specific weapon equipped.
That weapon was the Hung Jury SR4, one of the most popular weapons in the game when I started. It was a scout rifle, meaning it was semi-auto with substantial damage and high range. But what made the Hung Jury special, at least for me, was its astronomically high stability which gave it essentially no recoil.
I used to line that motherfucker up with strike bosses' faces and dome them over and over, tweaking my aim just to follow their movements but not the gun's, and tapping the trigger with mechanical precision and perfect rhythm. I was a fine-tuned engine of death built entirely around that trigger.
The Hung Jury had a fire rate of exactly 180 rounds per minute, or as Warframe writes the number, 3 shots per second. I pulled that trigger almost every day for about a year. I knew the rhythm, the feel of it, the punctuation of the momentary reload between 16-round magazines. I knew this gun down to the exact timing of its animation to take aim after a reload.
It was perfect.
And it was only last night that I thought of trying to capture that feeling again. Until then, I never even considered it as a thing I could do. But I hit the wiki looking for a list of weapons with that exact fire rate, and I didn't find many. The Vaykor Hek has it, but it's a shotgun. The Panthera is fully automatic. The Zenith has this fire pattern in its semi-auto mode, but I won't be able to get it for about a year.
I moved on to secondaries, but there were none with the fire rate of 1.875 which would've been exactly right with Lethal Torrent. I found exactly one option with a fire rate of 180rpm (without Lethal Torrent); the Pandero.
And it c l i c k e d.
The Pandero has a magazine of 8 rounds as opposed to the Hung Jury's 16, but the reload times are almost identical. The differences in recoil were fixed easily enough with Steady Hands.

I don't see many people use the pandero, and I do not think it was broken, seriously noone thought or said it was broken. That crit multiplier nerf really hurts my feelings...
Pandero doesn't fire and can't be shot whenever:
- fire and jump inputs are made at the same time (the warframe has to actually jump)
- fire and crouch inputs are made at the same time (crouch and slide both work).
It can be fired again after:
- ~3 second period
- aiming in soon after the "lock up".
The bug is quite old, changed a few times already but never was fixed.
I mentioned it in the forums three times and only seen one other post about it. I've sent info about it to support.
Please help, I like using Pandero a lot but it's just too annoying to deal with constantly.
The kinks with reload anims breaking seems to have been fixed as evident with the Perla Pistol Skin and the new Nyx Deluxe shotgun skin so it'd be nice to have the other total-makeover skins apply to other weapons in their class as originally intended (at least with regards to how the Bravura Boltor skin was described in the update it came in)

All of these and UNRANKED and UNROLLED...Cyath is of special notice because it can make a polearm, and it's pretty damn good. I wouldn't be selling it except that I love my plague staff already.

DE almost did it, they almost made the perfect revolver side-arm, it looks cool, it colours well, it performs well but... it has a glaring flaw that i just cannot overlook, something that makes a 10/10 a 0/10
It sounds like a pea shooter.
This bug has existed for several months at least, and I have never been able to perfectly replicate it, but from what testing I have done it seems to be the case that if you alt-fire with the Pandero secondary and empty the magazine, and then bullet jump the instant that the magazine is empty, the weapon "breaks" for about five seconds, preventing you from shooting, reloading, and even switching weapons.
I'm curious if anyone else has some more insight to give on this, seeing as how I have never been able to consistently replicate this bug.
I looked closely at Scourge/Knell, and both of them suit a head-shot playstyle, and noticed they came with the Harrow Bundle.
"Neat" I thought.......
So what about weapons like Tenora or Pandero? Are they supposed to synergize with Octavia somehow? Nothing about their mechanics seem to suit Octavia the same way Knell or Scourge did for Harrow.
Is Pox/Sarpa made with Titania in mind? etc.
I know a lot of people invested heavily into this 0 Polarity weapon, myself included. It was the first pistol I found that felt so satisfying to use. It's like the Corinth of pistols. I never once thought it too over the top as to call for a nerf. Can we please have some explanation as to why the changes are coming for it?
Seeing so many weapons get real buffs is one of the most exciting things to happen for this game. However, a lot of the excitement is spoiled by seeing that my favorite semi auto in this game is getting nerfed.
Please don't nerf my favorite weapon :(
I mean it's a western styled revolver it only makes sense!
Very appropriate little audio design Easter egg to come along with the newest musical Warframe—the Pandero's ^(for those who don't know what I'm talking about) firing sound will include a little "click" if you fire with a shot with half your cylinder remaining (8/8 no click ... 4/8 CLICK, 3/8 CLICK ...).
This even happens if you use something like Primed Slip Magazine for a 12-round cylinder.
It's actually kind of handy if you're aware of it, since it lets you know you'll need to reload or won't have a good alt-fire burst based on sound alone.
The Vasto Prime, by contrast, does not have this little click so it's not a general thing to all guns.
