Hey all!
I've recently had an idea that I want to experiment with musically, and I'm looking to use another pocket operator to do it! I'm torn between a few, however I figured that I'd be best to invest into.
I'm looking to write a song, namely one that's closest to punk rock, however in this situation that we all find ourselves in, I do not have access to a drummer, nor the finances for a drum machine, so I thought I'd turn to a new pocket operator to find the solution.
I'm a guitar player, and I'll be playing with a lot of distortion, so I'm looking for something that either fits with that sound, or alternatively something that could produce a sound befitting of my image in mind. I know the obvious answer is to go for a PO-33 KO, but I thought I'd have a look at some of the other operators before I settled on that one singularly. Would the PO-12 be any better? Or am I better just going for the lord of the low-price drum machines and just get a KO? Not seen anyone do something like this before, so I'm really curious.

Is there a list of all the music themes (harmonies, melodies etc) shared by more than one song? I'm really curious about this. Of course I know that Trønt uses the same themes deliberately inside a single album, and it's known that he always uses certain lines in all of his songs, but ever since I noticed that he also does that between multiple projects I became increasingly curious over time to know in which way the similarities in the music itself tie the songs together.
For example, the choir theme in the middle section of The Great Below is repeated in the central part of the first verse in And All That Could Have Been, both songs about the end of something (quite evidently a relationship) but he also used an extremely similar theme in the coda of Strings And Attractors from Welcome Oblivion by HTDA, which is also a song about a romantic relationship.
So... is there anyone who ever spent some time investigating this?
