A list of puns related to "Paddleboarding"
Does anyone have some good recommendations for beaches/beach accesses to take my dog paddleboarding for the first time? Ideally not a long or steep walk from parking to the beach as wrangling a paddleboard and a dog down a hill sounds less than ideal, and not very busy with humans and/or dogs so she can focus. Willing to drive a bit Iβm in central Kelowna, thank you!
Just curious where people go to paddleboard around the city?
My partner and I recently invested in paddleboards and are looking for recommendations on some great spots to go in the area (we're willing to travel!)
Also curious to know if there are any local paddleboard groups?
Thanks all
The weather is supposed to be fantastic this weekend. What are your favorite spots to put in on a paddleboard, in and around Renton?
Anyone know any good locations around Glasgow for paddleboarding with ideally easy access to public transport nearby?
I am new to paddelboarding. Like, ,my "board has never gotten wet" new. I imagine that I'll be spending a lot of time in the water instead of on it the first few times. I also imagine that Horsetooth is still quite cold. Is there a better place to learn. Maybe where the water is shallower so it has been able to warm up more? What about any of the natural areas? I've seen people on thar Lake beside Harmony near the bus terminal by 25. Is that a legit spot? It looks kinda mucky. I also know of Boyd Lake but that's $11 each time I want to go. Any suggestions?
Where can one go to do some paddle boarding around the city? Dont mind if it's a bit of a drive.
It's been a stressful few weeks and I'm looking for the best place to paddle board and bring a few cervesas for me, myself, and I.
Hi. I am new to paddleboarding I have tried it few times and I have decided to buy sup. So will take some advices for the start aswell.
I am 187cm tall and 98kg. Any advices what to look at when choosing sup? I am UK located so would be great if they would be available locally. The only use will be for the river to learn how to use the board properly and not fall down every now and then π
I have been looking at this one so far but not sure if the price equals quality. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B084PB1NKV/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_ZMKC8PGHVSCNQZAJPJ5R
Also is anyone located in UK? Recommendations for must go locations ?
Will appreciate every advices for the new adventure in my lifeβοΈπββοΈ
Roomie's birthday is May 16th. She just got a paddleboard but no one else in our group has one. Where can we go that has rentals (preferably also kayaks, i'm not interested in paddleboarding myself honestly) but that she can also bring her own? Thanks in advance!
Any SUPers (is that a word?) with a FR245? If so, how do you record your paddles?
I thought you could add new activity types, but can't see how to add any that are not predefined.
I've been recording as a run, then going into Connect and changing the activity to SUP, but not sure if there is a better way.
I have seen paddleboarders at Boulevard Lake and just to satisfy my own curiosity... how close to the vicinity of the dam at the end of the lake can they get (kayakers too I guess) before it is a safety hazard?
Hello! I am going to a wedding in the mountains in CA at the beginning of August; Iβm flying into Reno and set aside 2 extra days to visit Lake Tahoe on my way from the airport to the wedding. Iβve always wanted to visit and have never been there before. In particular, I want to paddle board on the lake.
I will be driving down 580 from Reno so Iβm looking for the best hotel/resort to stay at basically anywhere on the North or East sides of the lake. What are the top places to stay at, preferably with water sports in house or very nearby? And places with good food and hiking areas would be a plus, too. :)
Thank you for your help! Iβm really excited to see the lake for the first time.
Iβm super excited for summer to come and for paddle boarding season to resume! I became obsessed last year when I was living in Seattle so Iβm mostly familiar with the Seattle side spots (SLU, Fremont canal, Steward park etc)
Would love to discover some good launch spots on the east side! Thank you!! π€©
Could anyone suggest resources and/or routes they like for paddleboarding? Open to any type (river, lake, ocean). Can be anywhere in western WA (although if you want to give a shoutout to somewhere else, feel free). Mostly concerned with avoiding rapids and water hazards, respecting local regs, avoiding polluted waters, etc. Thanks in advance!
I tried paddleboarding twice so far, my first time I managed to stand up and it was in the Colorado River. My second time was in Monona, and I couldn't stand at all.
I just think it's beginners luck, and I really would like a buddy who would join me in my journey to become a super paddleboarder.
I'm a rising Mechanical Engineering sophomore. Thanks.
Hi all. Iβm looking for recommendations around the Bay Area with relatively warm water to practice standup paddleboarding. I know the waters in the region tend to be fairly frigid so I wanted to try my sea legs in a fairly safe spot before taking a plunge in a 55-degree bath.
Hey everyone! I bought myself a paddleboard and was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for locations to go? Iβm in Hull so Lac Leamy and Gatineau Park are on my list but would love to know any other cool spots to check out. Thanks in advance!
Anyone know of a place in FL where you can do nude paddleboarding? Has to be a place where you can also rent them, since we don't have our own. I know we have some nudist resorts in the state, just not sure if any of them do paddleboarding or if there is another place that does (that is clothing optional). Thanks in advance.
Anyone know if we can paddleboard anywhere around here?
