A list of puns related to "Orient Electric"
Basically during the day there is never a problem, the audio is absolutely crispy clear. But periodically, everyday without fail sometime around 6pm or 7pm to until some random time in the morning (anywhere from 1 am to 5 am) there will be an electrical interference coming from my microphone (Rode PodMic).
The buzzing will stop if the microphone is pointing at an extremely precise spot in the room (when I say this I mean the microphone needs to be completely perfectly positioned on it's x, y and z axis, I think this is happening because of the magnet inside of it).
This issue has persisted since the first day I bought this microphone I've replaced both the microphone and the interface (focusrite scarlett solo) but the issue is still there. I've connected the interface to other computers and tried different headphones and it's still there so the issue is not my pc, headphones or interface. But then again I did replace the microphone too (it was the same mic) so I have no idea as to why this might be happening. I would appreciate if anyone can help me with this, I've been to every post, blog etc. on the internet and no one has experienced this problem. Or I just missed it. Thanks in advance for all the replies.
Does the orientation of a electric pressure washer matter? eg. on its side, upside down? I have two electric pressure washers that I am connecting to one hose using a Y connector and instead of buying an expensive 2β $25+ hose I was thinking of just having the other pressure washer on itβs side connecting to the Y connector.
I really doubt this was a glitch in the matrix situation but it was such a strange experience I wanted to share. Please remove if it doesnβt fit here.
Quick backstory- we live in the woods, and now thatβs it summer here, it gets really dark at night- you canβt see the stars or moon or anything, and last night was rainy so it was extra dark, if possible.
I did a ton of yard work yesterday afternoon in 90 degree weather, and I laid down for a nap while my husband made burgers on the grill. I slept right through dinner and the rest of the evening. I woke up about 12:30am, the house was quiet, my husband and kids had gone to bed, but I was so hungry after sleeping through dinner. I knew I wouldnβt fall back asleep because I was just too hungry, so I got up, went to the kitchen and warmed up some leftovers. I just quietly ate, while one of my cats kept me company. When I finished up, I cleaned up after myself and decided to head back to my bedroom, brush my teeth, and get back in bed.
I flipped off the kitchen light while simultaneously walking into my living room. I got 4-5 steps through my living room, and maybe my eyes hadnβt adjusted yet, but I stopped in my tracks. It was just so dark- darker than Iβve ever experienced, if you could imagine that. There was absolutely no light, no sound, not even white noise. I put my hands out trying to feel for a wall or furniture to orient myself (for the record Iβve lived here for three years- itβs my house and I know it like the back of my hand.) I couldnβt feel anything, and in that second I was struck with such a feeling of pure dread. Itβs what I imagine one of those sensory deprivation pods feel like. I couldnβt see anything, hear anything, or physical feel any objects, I canβt describe the darkness. So dark. I panicked and called for my husband (we can control lights and other electrics from our phones, I had left mine in the bedroom.) He didnβt hear me- he was on the other side of the house in the AC and I had shut the door behind me.
I stood there, and it felt like I was in a void. The two things that stand out to me was just how dark it was. And the dread and fear I felt, when Iβve walked through this house in the dark thousands of times. I used to have insomnia pretty bad (medication helped that) so wandering around my home in the middle of the night is nothing new for me.
The darkness though- it wasnβt even what I would call dark- it was more like nothingness. And I canβt justify why I felt so so

First off, this post simulated what it would look like if a perfectly triangular building were to cast lights upwards. Seems plausible enough, it's established that this type of shadow can be casted onto the clouds, but there's no perfectly triangular buildings that would match! Or so you would think -- this post (and many others) points to the Panorama Hotel, with it's trapezoidal shape. Surely that couldn't project a triangular shape, right? Well apparently, it does! It also provides two very distinct clues, a "weak" tip, and extending light overlap.
Great! We have something to work from now. From my previous post here, I tracked/stabilized/color corrected some footage, and if you look carefully, two of the tips are always very well defined, while one isn't as strong. I'd go as far as to say it's never as well defined as the rest at any point, even with complete cloud backing; you see the lines leading up to the tip, but never distinctly the tip itself. And finally, the piece of evidence that clinched it for me personally, extending light overlap (Picture and comparison incase imgur compresses the video to hell and back). It's subtle as fuck, but it's there nevertheless. Also to note, there are still glowing edges, even when there aren't clouds in the area, just good 'ole smog. [Edit: For a true, apples to apples comparison - 3D modeled out scene produces literally almost the same image]
To assume this is a craft, with all of the evidence presented above, you would need to also claim that there are lights on the side of the craft, creating that light overlap and illuminating
