A list of puns related to "Online Banking ePayments"
Hi Reddit,
We're a marketing company that been active since 2016 and currently have 16 employees that work for our company, the biggest problem we face is paying out our workers, we've used services like Payoneer, and ePayments before. ePayments is way to risky currently due their current banking situation located in Riga ( Rieutmu ) which is a red flagged country as well as bank ( risky risky )
Payoneer is fine so far, but has huge fees, and hidden costs.
There is N26, Revolut.. Would any recommend these for business?
Is there any other options?
Edit.
I have 100% online bank. The nearest branch I can deposit with is a 30 min round trip plus parking and a walk The nearest post office is better, but still a drive and a park. I have brought my parents about £200 worth of stuff. I need some of that money in my account t to actually pay my bills that come.out.my account so all cash is a pain, especially given the massive ball ache of deposit (see above) I generally use a card to buy shopping as I get a discount using it. Using cash therefore costs me more My local will not take cash still due to the rona. I generally buy most other things online as I don't live near shops that sell what I need.. I abridged this for the sake of not having a huge post... And I happy.many other people do not have these issues
Hi all, visited my local credit union recently and the banker who helped me asked me to verify my online account password. I was pretty taken aback since the general password rule is that you shouldn’t provide it to anyone. Plus, she was able to see in plain text what the password was.
This is a large and popular credit union in my area. Is it common to keep plain text passwords, or is this a red flag indicating that this bank has bad cyber security??
Edit: To clear up confusion: I visited the CU to open a new account (in addition to my old ones) and sat down with a banker. They asked me to provide my existing account numbers but I had been locked out of the online portal and didn’t have them in print. They then asked for my verbal passcode and my online account password, which shocked me.
I can’t remember whether they asked for the verbal passcode first and I only remembered an old one, or if they had me give the online one regardless. I couldn’t quite remember the online password either so I said some words and was asked if there was an exclamation point, etc at the end. I guessed wrong a few times and the banker gave me hints.
The banker just acted like this was the most normal thing in the world so I wasn’t sure if I was just feeling paranoid. But thank you SO much for your responses, I’m moving my money and reporting the CU!!
Part of my goal as a teller is to enroll customers in online/digital banking… it can get frustrating when customers don’t want to even talk about it or say “I’m old school” and leave.
So my question is, how do I respond to that and how can I pursuade them to sign up for online banking with out sounding like I’m “selling” it too much
How Murdaugh Allegedly Stole Money from an Injured Officer
On Nov. 18, 2021, a grand jury indicted Richard Alexander "Alex" Murdaugh and charged him with:
a. breach of trust;
b. with fraudulent intent;
c. money laundering;
d. computer crime; and
e. forgery in connection with State Trooper Moore's case.
Whom would you trust more, the app of your bank or their website using a browser? - I mean security and privacy wise.
These days I can log on at any time and see right I’ve got £18 in my account, £6 pending, a direct debit coming out in 2 days..
I assume back then you’d have to check your balance at a cash machine or the bank. And it might be wrong as it might not reflect card transactions yet to go through or cheques written but still to be cashed… and you’d only get a full statement at the end of the month to know what had happened and when?
How did skint people not end up in a position where they’d busted their overdraft without knowing?
My daughter has an old Samsung Galaxy S8 and has asked me if I could install LineageOS. Got a a few questions...
Q1. Would I need to root phone first?
Q2. Is this the best instructions to perform the install https://wiki.lineageos.org/devices/d1/install
Q2. Will she use Banking apps after LineageOS is installed?
Any advice for a novice would be appreciated. also quite an old novice, (74 years old) 😧 but never to old to learn 🙂
pozdrav ekipa.
Hvala.
I'm just talking domestic wire transfers.
Is that too much to expect?
~~ I want your P100. There’s a new batch due in a few months so I’ll wait if I have to, but I’d rather have one sooner than later.

Let me know!~~

The QR Rechnung (Rechnung with QR code) is going to replace the Rote and Orange ESR soon (April or October 2022 depending on who you read).
If you want to pay a QR Rechnung and for some reason you are unable to scan the QR code (for example helping an elderly parent without a scanner or the app, or the scanner does not work, or there are problems with the app), is it possible to fill in the QR Rechnung online in e-banking. After all, I think that (I may be wrong) the QR Rechnung itself contains all the necessary information, including name, address, bank Konto number, and a QR Rechnung reference number (different from the orange ESR reference number, but still a reference number).
vielen Dank und schönes neues Jahr
I got an email from RBC yesterday saying they declined an e transfer transaction. I went into the account and found RBC reversed the $500. That was my personal account. Then I went to check my business account. One checking account showed another similar transaction reversed. The amount was $1800 with e transfer. Then I noticed in another checking account $6000 was transferred to a RBC customer. In RBC online banking account, you can add a RBC customer in your payees and transfer money directly. I found that payee added in my account. The hacker didn’t delete it. I called RBC’s number and was told they will have an investigation and will let me know within 10 days. I don’t know if I can get the money back. I found another thread in this sub last year with thousands lost due to e transfer hacking. I couldn’t find the result whether he got the money back from RBC.
Edit: I saw the 6000 back to my account. After 13 days I reported the fraud.
Hi folks,
Starting a new job in January so I thought it was a good time to move banks, been with AIB for a few years but 20 cent per transaction with card or contactless is ridiculous.. I do have a revolut account I use mostly for sending friends money and some sport betting but wondering if anyone has made a move fully to that or N26 previously and how you found it?
Also in relation to mortgages and things like that would it be affected having an only online bank account?
Thanks
I created an online banking for my bank account. I got my password wrong 3 times. Now I am not able to login. What should I do? The bank is TMB. Forget password feature is not working. It says that my mobile number is not in the bank database. What should I do now?
I have an old Bank of America account opened in 2009 when I worked in the US. I left US after that and I've been unable to use my cards for a decade, but I have online subscriptions paid by the card which has been working smoothly even now.
But I can no longer log in to online banking, it only says:
Online Banking is not available to you at this time.
Please call us at 1.800.933.6262
Then I called the number (at international rates) and it just sends me in circles. How can I resolve this?
The old money was running dry so my most urgent need is depositing some money (around $100) to keep the subscriptions going.
My most recent card has expired and they allegedly mailed me the replacements. But it was mailed to my work address which I can't access right now due to COVID.
Update: I've successfully called them, then tried to set up a Yubikey. The result is mixed:
So now I'm going to login periodically to keep my PC remembered.
Thanks everyone again for the help!
There is a popular meme on Tiktok where people act out this dialogue out as a skit but using some other extremely geeky hobby like building Legos or organizing a rock collection. I can't find the original where the guy is actually doing online banking. Anyone able to find it?
The brick and mortar bank checking account I've had since I was a teen is now requiring a monthly fee of $11 and there is no fee free option available. This is about how much I usually have in there as I only use it as a back up or for transferring money/dealing with checks. The only time I've appreciated the brick and mortar in recent years was the one time I lost my wallet and needed any new card immediately. I think I could switch a checking account that only costs $5/month, but this still feels egregious. What's everyone's opinions?
So I know that you're supposed to make the Chang payment within 24 hours after enrolling or else you'll get charged a late fee at the start of the next month (Jan 1st) but my problem is that since I paid using online banking and according to this (https://www.ryerson.ca/current-students/tuition-fees/pay-fees/), it says it usually takes around 3-5 days for my payment to be applied (which I realized after I saw the RAMSS say that I still had a charge due).
My question, in particular, is that will I still be charged the late fee on Jan 1st even though I technically did pay within 24 hours (I even have my bank account history to prove that I paid before the due date).
Update (Jan 3, 2022), My payment has gone through (after the due day and after 5 days) and I was not charged any late fees
What online bank would you choose Tangerine or Simplii Financial for day to day banking needs?
Is there a way to use GnuCash to connect to my credit union’s bank account and then move those funds from one account to another? Is there a good YouTube that explains this or a tutorial of some sort?
....why go through the convoluted process of editing the page, or transferring funds between accounts, and asking for gift cards, Why not just transfer the money to a mule account immediately?
Please be kind. I know nothing. I really enjoy Kitboga/Perogi/Jim Browning etc, but I always get hung up on this point.
Thank you.
Hi! I'm currently trying to open up an online bank account (I'm 19) and tried both YAP and Liv and the results were disappointing, as some of you might already be aware of.
I'm looking to invest, and create NFTs, so is there any online banking substitute? Or am I better off trying to contact the two banks and figuring out how to open the account.
Nubank has over 48 million customers, making it the world’s biggest online bank by customers. The bank is worth over $40 billion after recently going public.
After only 8 short years, Nubank has totally disrupted the Latin American banking market. The massive traditional banks that Nubank was competing with are now trying to get a share of Nubank’s online banking market.
Nubank startup story
Nubank was started by Colombian David Vélez after he moved to São Paulo, Brazil. Vélez identified the need for a convenient banking service in Brazil, where half of the population was unbanked despite being the world’s seventh-largest economy. Back then, there were about 5 banks in the whole country. All of them charged a huge fee with high-interest rates on credit cards and had terrible customer service.
Velez’s frustrating experience with trying to open a bank account in 2013 inspired this idea. After spending nearly an hour waiting at the bank to begin the process, it took an arduous 4-months before it was complete. Velez knew that no matter where he went in Latin America, the process would be the same.
So, he decided to solve the problem all on his own using technology. And so, Nubank was born as an independent, digital bank to help the people of Brazil become more financially savvy.
Nubank Launch
In 2014, Nubank entered the banking sector with their Mastercard-backed credit card linked to their customers’ smartphones. This idea was unlike anything the people in Brazil had ever seen before from traditional banks, and so Nubank grabbed their attention.
About 200,000 people put their names on the Nubank waiting list within the first year, with 100,000 people successfully onboarded.
Nubank Customers and Growth
In 2016 - just two years after their official launch - Nubank hit 1 million accepted credit card customers. This was almost entirely through word of mouth and referrals.
And with the kind of success that the Neobank had experienced, in 2017, Nubank received a Brazilian banking license. This allowed the platform to offer checking and savings accounts, which automatically increased their user base.
Within five months, about 1.5 million of Nubank’s credit card customers had signed up for bank accounts and traditional financial services.
Today, Nubank’s overall user base is sitting at 48.1 million. This makes Nubank the largest digital bank in the world by the number of its customers.
How Much is Nubank Worth?
Currently, Nubank
... keep reading on reddit ➡With the recent events with online banking. Just wanted to ask if there is any Online banking that implements the use of Two factor authenticators?
For e-wallets I only found coins.ph so far, not even sure to what extent it is used for like- sending only? paying? or login only?
I have not banks that use this- I found a post saying UB does this but its in-app.
Wondering if anyone has any advice for helping our older population with things like internet banking? My grandfather doesn't have a smartphone, and touch screens are foreign to him. It's hard with so many bank branches closing, he struggles to do his banking now. Was hoping that some of you might have some tips or guidance around how to help.
It's a sad reality that so many senior citizens are becoming disconnected because of new technologies and the phasing out of old processes 😕
Safe na po kayang gumamit uli ng BDO? Need to pay bills via online banking pero dahil wala akong debit card at the moment, I need to transfer money from BDO to GCash...
Hey,
Currently planning stuff for my flat this year and just have a few questions for people experienced with westpac (I’m with ANZ but our landlords are with westpac so we want to set up an account with them so payments are automatic.) To my understanding you can’t have more than two people on a joint account so we’re probably just going to set up an account in one persons name. If we do this would all four of us be able to have access to the online banking app on our phones?
TIA! :)
