A list of puns related to "One Way Trip (film)"
I'd appreciate if you tell me whether it's boring or interesting to watch, or whether my English sucks and I should stop doing that, lol. I upload everything on Youtube, my channel's name in same to reddit's nickname.
If you have any suggestions, or criticism, or ideas what else to film while this trip - please go say it.
On paper, Riley Fletcherβs disappearance wasnβt that odd. The circumstances of a disappearance are usually pretty straightforward: βPerson is there; person isnβt there; some sicko, disturbed parent, or jealous lover nabbed them.β
The cops said Riley got nabbed by a sicko. A year later, she was declared dead. But Rileyβs disappearance was odd. I know because I was there.
Riley and I met in math class our junior year and quickly hit it off. Butterflies took flight from my stomach when Riley invited me to Sadie Hawkins. In our rural town, it was sacrilege. Two girls going to a school dance together, especially when itβs more than a friendship, is a tough steer for cowpokes to wrangle.
I always wondered if we made enemies during Sadie Hawkins, if somehow that explained Rileyβs disappearance. But eventually, I let myself believe the truth. It was much more sinister than that.
Throughout our junior year, Riley and I continued falling in love. We loved being outside together. We went hiking regularly. There was a reservoir on the outskirts of our town ββΒ Brandon Lake. Trails led all around it. It was so wooded that getting lost was easy.
Riley and I became hopelessly lost the night she disappeared. Darkness fell. The moon rose, but we were deep in the woods. It was impossible to see.
We freaked out when we heard bushes rustle; then, when we heard voices, the real terror started.
Come with usβ¦
We want to study youβ¦
We want to see what your insides look likeβ¦
The forest flooded with blue light. Cyclonic winds began beating down. Riley and I hauled ass in the general direction of the parking lot. I was faster than Riley. She wasnβt much of an athlete. She lagged behind, branching off into the woods to avoid being caught on the path.
Seconds later, I heard a scream and saw a final flash of light. The swirling wind stopped. The silence of night descended just as suddenly. When I went back to look for Riley, I saw the odd thing. It was her footprints ββ one foot in front of the next, long, running strides, then a final footprint before they disappeared. The last footprint was deeper than the others, as if sheβd bounded once before floating away into space.
The search went on for weeks. The cops grilled me: βCould Riley have run away from home? Did she have any enemies because of her life choices?β No one cared about the footprints or my theory that Riley had been taken by something inhuman.
Ten years have passed. In private moments, I rem

I know airlines have different rates if you return after 7 days, 3 days, or immediately so could it be due to taxes, why wouldnβt anyone who needed a one way ticket just buy the round trip and not take the return trip? Why would anyone waste the extra $2100 to book a one way?

I recommend exploring that link before watching the film, it gives a lot of information on the history and greatness of the film and director.
The restored color version is also available on Netflix. I recommend watching them both, because they are slightly different. The restored version has no dialogue and adds awesome music instead, which makes it a very enjoyable watch. The film follows Astronomy Professor Barbenfouillis (Georges Melies himself) as he builds a rocket and travels with 5 of his courageous voyagers to the moon.
I'm seeing Amara was held in detention due to having a one way ticket. She was given the advice that a one way ticket is better than buying a round trip ticket but not showing for the return part because she wouldn't want that on her record.
I flew one way from college to my home town and never used the return portion of the round trip flight. Just curious if that gets logged as a red flag somewhere.
I recently just accepted a job within walking distance of my apartment in DC. I still owe $5,200 on a 3 year old vehicle that has a current trade-in value of $18,000. I pay $480 / month on the loan and about $90 / month on insurance (total monthly cost of $570).
Now that I'll be able to walk to work and would likely only use my car for weekend trips, is it worth keeping? Since I'm still in my twenties, I was thinking of selling it and taking that monthly expenditure and routing it to a Roth IRA.
