A list of puns related to "Olde tyme"
Been on a craving for old timey hard candy like they cut into pieces from a long cane. Anyplace in town make something like this? We were in Branson a couple weeks ago and we stopped in a little candy shop in old downtown and I wish Iβd bought more flavors, but hoping thereβs something local, thanks!
Whenever you see older boxing matches, the fighters have this weird stance where they constantly keep their elbows down.
If there was some advantage to doing this, you would think people would still do it, but they don't. It looks so silly. Why did they think it was a good idea?
I know it must have been difficult to do, but it also must have been possible to alter photos, drawing on them or splicing pieces of film together to make a funny or odd image. Are there any instances of this that spring to mind that are particularly noteworthy?
so there was a music video for it. it was very typical of scarling's music (noise-pop/goth-rock) and the music video had jessicka addams singing on a tv with a CGI animation creature in a chair. there's evidence that the video existed BUT it's really been scrubbed off the internet as far as i'm aware. i'm not entirely sure why.

you can see it was on here but the video is gone. there was a re-upload floating around at one point BUT that too seems to be gone. i would really like to see this again because i think scarling is a really great band and while it wasn't the greatest cover (i remember people complaining about the guitar tone being kinda crazy and out of control) it was still pretty cool and had some of jessicka's best screams.

I'm referring to the affected unusual way actresses like Mae West and Katherine Hepburn used to talk in movies. First, did real women largely speak like this outside of movies? If so, around when did it start going away and by when had it totally disappeared?
How do torches work in all of these medieval/horseback fantasy worlds? It seems like they just burn on and on and on forever without needing any sort of fuel or relighting. They're just handheld pillars that burn beautifully for hours.
