We’ve had my brother now since my child was 3 weeks old. We’ve been through so much, but It’s becoming overwhelming and it’s tearing apart my marriage.
He lies and steals from us, has anger problems that we can’t handle, has broken our door down, put holes in the walls in our house, has broken just about everything we’ve given him and just doesn’t care. We’re worried that he’s going to be a bad influence on our son. Not to mention that we can’t financially support him. Our bank account goes negative almost every paycheck just trying to have enough food for him And he eats it all before we can get paid again.
I’m very adamant about calling CPS this Friday because it’s come to “me or him” with my wife and I obviously choose my marriage. But what will actually happen with CPS? Or is there another way I can go about things. I hate it, but I just don’t want him in my home anymore. It’s nothing but chaos and trouble.
Note:his mom died when he was 2, and his dads solution is send him to a mental health hospital and forget about him.
Edit: I appreciate the help, from every. But it’s really to late to try to get help from CPS. My wife is done with him, and so am I.. also his fathers shitty excuse for not getting him is that his girlfriend will leave him if he took him back.
Edit 2: I’m located in Texas. His dad is In Pennsylvania. I’ve called the cops on him twice and they have no advice except “you’re doing what you can” because we don’t have actual legal custody. We have no court documents for financial backing or anything except PoA.

With 100 of the buggers in existence now, pretty much everyone on here has owned at least one of these things. Some, like my mate Josh, own them all. Through the power of nostalgia and spite for the decades that came before and after you hit your teens, which Now record do you think stands tallest above them all?
I personally nominate 1994s NOW 28. Not every track is a killer (it's the 90s so naturally has a bloody M-People track), and secondary Haddaway, Reel 2 Reel, and 2 Unlimited tracks... but it has Prodigy's No Good, Ace of Base's Don't Turn Around, All-4-One's only song anyone remembers, and that Stiltskin song from the Levis advert from when that seemed to be the guiding light of popular music.
This is also a place to discuss the pain of owning NOW 23 on tape, which had the Tetris music followed by the Super Mario Land music. A dark day for music and fast forward buttons everywhere.
(It is pretty much a guarantee my opinion will have changed by teatime. 1992s NOW 21 has *TWO* KLF tracks on it afterall. Cor!)

I think about Bigfoot sometimes. Wouldn't that be awesome if they were real and we integrated them into our society somehow? You would just go to the grocery store and there would be a Bigfoot on aisle 12 getting some Fruit Loops. You'd take your kids to the playground and your son would say "Hey dad, can I go over to Ethan's house tonight? He's got a new video game and he wants me to come over and play it with him." You say, "Who's Ethan?" He points over to a Bigfoot family sitting on a bench and they all wave with a smile. “Sure buddy, but don't eat too many sweets. You know how sugar keeps you up at night." I think it'd be really fun. Also, I'm working on new music for album #6.
