A list of puns related to "Not Easily Broken"
No more on your hands and knees looking for that last shard you are sure to miss, only to find weeks later with your bare feet. Quick and easy clean up!
Hi everyone, so as the title says we have just come out of a fixed term on our mortgage and we only owe about $15,000. We have been waiting for this glorious moment as the plan was to just pay the mortgage off in full and be 100% debt free, so we have enough money sitting there to pay it. But I'm unsure if that's the best play.
The bank sent us a notice saying that if we like we can reduce our weekly repayments from $450/week down to just $27 - not a typo, our mortgage repayments could be just $27 per week if we wanted.
This got me thinking that we could drop the payments down to $200 or so, then put the remaining $250 towards a desperately needed new car. Or maybe put some to a new car and some towards investing further (DCA into boring old ETF's). But then we could also just pay it off in full and free up $450 each week to put towards whatever.
I should also mention that within our mortgage we get all basic annual account keeping fees and the annual credit card fee waived. So if we pay out the mortgage we lose this benefit. BUT, we would be paying for that privilege via a small amount of interest (about $60 a month).
I feel like we're in a great position and have options, it's just that I'm not sure what all of those options are and what would be best.
I am visiting the bank tomorrow to discuss the matter but thought I'd ask here too.
Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated.
It's really neat that AutoModerator is available on the new user profiles to help people moderate the comments on their profile posts, but the default setup that it comes with has a lot of issues. Here's the configuration that is currently set up for every user's profile by default:
##Filter comments from accounts with low karma
author:
satisfy_any_threshold: true
comment_karma: "< -50"
action: filter
report_reason: " comment karma < -50"
---
reports: 5
action_reason: 5+ reports
modmail: "A {{kind}} by /u/{{author}} contains has received 5 reports and has been removed please check on it. {{permalink}}"
---
The single largest issue is that the second rule has no action:
defined. Because of that, while it will send a modmail saying that it removed the post, it won't actually do that.
However, in my opinion, that rule not working might be a good thing. A rule like that existing on every single profile by default has a really high abuse potential - it means that a small group of people (or even one person with multiple accounts) would be able to cause any post on any profile to be removed by just sending 5 reports on it.
A lot of subreddits do use similar AutoModerator rules that remove+modmail based on reports, but the abuse potential is much lower because a subreddit will usually have multiple, active moderators who understand what's happening. People using user profiles probably won't be available as often, aren't as familiar (or familiar at all) with moderation, may not even understand that they need to check their profile's modmail, and may not realize that any posts are being automatically removed for a very long time.
Outside of that, here are some other issues with the configuration, in no particular order. Some of these definitely aren't "significant", but since this is probably going to be a lot of users' first exposure to AutoModerator configuration, having it written as cleanly and properly as possible will help make it less intimidating.

I had a '96 Acura Intergra for the last 12 years which I absolutely loved. Handled well, went fast but it was unfortunately stolen in front of my apartment two weeks ago.
I drive very little as I live in a major city. I still like to have a car for obvious reasons like getting out of the city, hauling things bigger than I can carry, etc.
The problem I am running into in my quest for a new car is it seems anything cheap and reliable is easily stolen (accords, civics, integra's). Not trying to repeat history here..
Can anyone recommend an automobile that is 1) reliable, 2) not commonly stolen 3) affordable (under 3k, preferably more around 2k).
Thanks.
I can do everything fine. I am a young adult in college, got into graduate school, have very good GPA. I am a bright guy. I am not handicapped in any way except for the ways in which I take care of myself.
I re use a lot of clothes. yes, underwear, yes, socks. And shirts. Jeans are acceptable, and I only wash them once a month. I dont have a lot of clothes so the ones I do wear are worn decently frequently. My shirt rotation is probably max 2 weeks.
I hardly brush/wash/rinse my mouth. I drink a lot of water, but I dont know if that does jack shit, probably not.
Why can I not take care of myself on a basic level in that sense? Brushing my teeth doesnt compute in my day to day life.
Mornings: wake up, get ready, leave for school. Getting ready consists of me showering brushing my hair, and finding clothes that dont stink and I havent worn recently.
I did it in no time.
Title. I'm not sure if it's the case with the other gems, but I've tested it pretty extensively with my hatchet and different tiers of gem. Unspec all focus, hit mob once, note damage. Put all points back into focus, whack mob again, 0 change in damage despite amber gem claiming to scale weapon damage off of focus instead. I haven't seen this mentioned by any devs, and it isn't getting any traction on the stickied bug thread...
Edit: Here's a forum post showing that there is no damage difference between the 20% gem and the 40%, something is definitely busted: https://forums.newworld.com/t/amber-gem-scaling-is-the-sameconstant-for-20-30-and-40-gems/364677
Like you need to realize that most people meet at their work, most people meet naturally through mutual friends, etc. etc. It isn't some big thing that happens. It develops naturally. It isn't something you have to try and do/a girl isn't something that you go out and try to get.
Now you have these guys these days who make it into this massive big deal (not just talking about INCELS here, but hopeless romantics, too) but it isn't. It fucking isn't a big deal. A relationship almost always develops naturally over time, starts with friendship. And it naturally progresses, this is 99% of relationships that ever happened or will happen in the future. It isn't a big deal and it isn't dramatic. And you don't have to try to get with someone it just happens. It just fucking happens. Can you understand what I'm saying?
It just happens naturally.
Now as far as the whole idea that ugly people or average people can't get a date, I call bullshit. I've seen it happen many times, average dude with a great personality gets a pretty girlfriend. Unattractive/not typically attractive guy attracts others through other ways, like having a great skill or intelligence, etc. etc.
You know, one thing those guys don't do? Go around whining about how they can't get a date. You know how boring that is to listen to someone whining about that stuff? Considering they could be doing something about it instead? Who wants to put up with that?
I am willing to acknowledge someone with social anxiety and other issues, but they should be doing the best they can despite those issues. Because what the fuck else are they going to do, wallow in pity? Again, women don't like that, and neither do men btw.
So yeah, that's about it really. I put this as 'unpopular on reddit' not because there's a big INCEL population here (there isn't - not anymore as far as I know) but I read shit on here all the time on dating subs, and other subreddits like foreveralone where they just wallow in self-pity and it isn't even real what they believe. Like if they really had zero chance of ever getting a date, I'd think that'd be sad and they could be sad about it, but that isn't reality and it never will be. Nobody has zero chance besides people who aren't even trying.
And here's one more thing, you really should be focusing on yourself since you clearly have issues unrelated to other people and women, like being socially awkward is one thing but having no self-esteem is a whole other deal and that's your t

Don't get me wrong, I'm up for a challenge, but there's something oddly satisfying about taking a set of rules and abusing them.
(For anyone not familiar with FFVIII, it features enemies that scale with you combined with a magic junction system that can be horribly abused. If you choose to eg convert cards into magic, you can kill most bosses in a couple of hits before the end of disc 1.)
Some will say to read the bible. How I know that the bible says the truth?
Some may mention that it must be true because people died for their beliefs. Dont generally people die for their beliefs? Didnt the same happened with other religions?
Thomas who lived with Jesus and saw His miracles did not believe that he rose from the dead. So, how i am going to have faith when i have not seen Jesus? How I am going to trust the gospel when people are easily deluded?
In order to have faith I must understand some things. I cant understand them when it comes to bible. I cant understand why God prefers us to have faith when He knows that its difficult without seeing. Wouldnt be simplier if we were able to see angels telling us what is right and not? Or would be simplier for God to let us be forgiven without judging our faith? When it comes to faith isnt natural for some people not to have faith? Doesnt this somehow encourages more people not to have faith? And why not having faith must result to eternal punishment?
So, considering that people can be easily deluded and that there are many religions, I am really discouraged to have faith.
Hey,
I have a phone with a broken screen(an Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 running LineageOS 16.1 stable) that has unresponsive screen. I'd love to extract the data/use it as a storage device.
People suggest that I should use a USB On-The-Go device. The problem is, USB OTG simply does not work. I tried it on my now main phone and it works, but it does not work in my old phone.
I have my fingerprint recorded, but I need to insert the PIN as the phone was restarted more than once. I simply can't get a single response from the phone screen. I can kinda see what is happening, I can use the volume buttons, the long power button press and such.
I have not used bootmanager and stuff for a long time, and I am not familiar with it anymore. I can access to some bootmanager or something, and it wants me to swipe, but the thing is, I can't swipe.
Is there any way for me to extract the data, use the USB OTG, enable USB debugging, access bootmanager and such? I'd really love to use the phone as a storage device, 128 gig storage devices are no joke.
Thanks.
