A list of puns related to "Non Hodgkin lymphoma"
Context:
>Paul Allen didnβt just love the Trail Blazers, he breathed them. He wanted to know the thought process behind every decision. And he had thoughts, ideas and visions of where the franchise could go.
>Itβs why Olshey would get 25 texts in a day during the NBA Draft process. And itβs why McGowan was given the promise of more power to expand the brand of both the Blazers and NFLβs Seattle Seahawks (which Allen also owned.)
>When Allen died from complications from non-Hodgkin lymphoma, his sister, Jody, took over. She has been supportive of the Blazers from a monetary standpoint. She handed out lucrative contract extensions to guards Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum, awarded Olshey and then-coach Terry Stotts extensions and gave first-year coach Chauncey Billups a five-year deal. In 2019-20, the Blazers had the NBAβs highest payroll and this year they have the ninth.
>But by all accounts, she has not carried the same oversight and attention to the Blazers as her brother. She attends most home games and traveled to road games throughout the teamβs run to the 2019 Western Conference finals. But she has largely been hands-off.
>Not surprisingly, both McGowan and Olshey have always fawned over Jody and her commitment. But really, what are they supposed to say? Sheβs an absent owner? She doesnβt care?
>The closest thing I would ever hear along those lines was a pause, followed by βthings are different.β

Whatβs up guys. Iβm just finishing up my sixth of six Chemotherapy infusions of AV-chp . Pending a clean pet scan (fingers crossed) my next step is an auto stem cell transplant. All of the information on this thread has been so helpful, I wonder if thereβs anything I can do to prepare myself mentally and physically? Iβm a firefighter paramedic, and I wonder the realistic timeframe I will be looking at getting back to work? My oncologist used the same treatment as the echelon 2 study in hopes that my response would be superior to the standard chop treatment. I hope there are success stories out there that can share their experiences with me. Thanks for reading!
I was misdiagnosed for many years with eczema. I actually had Non Hodgkinβs Lymphoma Sezary Syndrome. The cancer mimics eczema/dermatitis/psoriasis. I went threw chemo and Iβm fine. You have to insist for a biopsy from your dermatologist!! By the time I was diagnosed I was stage 4!!
Is it true that the use of amphetamines (and recreational drugs in general, even LSD) can lead to non-Hodgkin's lymphoma by weakening the immune system or even directly triggering the development of lymphoma in the case of amphetamines? I was diagnosed NHL (now healed hopefully) and I used various RCs such as 2-FMA, 3-MMC, etizolam and 1P-LSD in the last 3 years and since I now found various articles saying so I was wondering if it's true and if someone else can relate and if so warn about the risk of abusing these substances. Here are some sites that I found but just search for any common recreational drug + lymphoma and you'll probably find something.

I don't want to scare anyone but I'm just looking for someone more experienced in biology than me to understand better.
Edit: I misread the article about lymphoma and HIV, the increased odds of developing a NHL in HIV even negative people is only a supposition not supported by any study yet
Iβm not sure if this is allowed, but my friend in her early 60βs was diagnosed late last summer with stage 4 non-Hodgkins lymphoma. As she has other chronic health issues, I feared the worst. However,I am delighted to tell you that, after several rounds of chemo and some tough challenges, she is in full remission. She rang the bell at the chemo clinic today. I apologize if this type of post is not permitted in this forum, but Iβm so happy for her, I just had to share.
24M. Living with HIV. Diagnosed July 2015. Undetectable as of April 2016. Abdominal pain since early July with soreness on upper right side. Back and chest pain that comes and goes. Weight loss. Tiredness & Weakness. 3 ER Visits. Clear ER X-ray, Colonoscopy , Upper Endoscopy, HIDA Scan (32%/ Normal is 33%) , CT scan with contrast, CTA Scan with contrast, 2 unremarkable abdominal ultrasounds no gallstones. Bloodwork unremarkable (available if needed). PPI medication makes very little difference.
GI Doctor has essentially given up after suggesting IBS/ dyspepsia. Wonβt see me again until around Thanksgiving. Advised against getting any further work up even after i suggested a Barium Swallow. He has however referred me to surgeon for possible Gallbladder removal before saying thatβs all that can be done on his end.
I deeply feel this isnβt a Gallbladder issue. Should I schedule a consultation with a Hematologist for a possible lymphoma or Blood cancer?
After being sick with symptoms since before June, we finally have a diagnosis. He (my father) is on day 3 of his meds. Anyone have experience like this? I hope docs figured it out with enough times to spare. I realize this is fatal for compromised people. It has made my father so frail; I weigh more than he does. How quickly will the meds impact symptoms? All of my searching garners no real results. Thanks in advance
Hi guys,
My dad (57m) has just been diagnosed with stage 2 non Hodgkin's lymphoma. He had a tumour removed from his intestine a month ago and starts 6 months of chemo treatment next week. He's anxious about chemo and is worried about hair loss and other side effects of the treatment. I (22f) want to make him a gift box, I made him one a year ago when he had to have a hip replaced and he said it helped alot. Just wanted to see what kind of things helped/ are helping you are anyone you know! At the moment I'm thinking warm things like socks/blanket/jumper as I've heard chemo can cause chills. I'm also thinking nice shower gel, and things that will help with the cleaning side of things as he's worried about getting an infection. I'm also thinking some kind of gag gift (we deal with stuff like this with humour) like a fake beard or funky wig for the hair loss.
Any ideas would me greatly appreciated :)
I miss her so much. It still does not seem real. I am so lost.
