A list of puns related to "No Use for a Name discography"
Disclaimer: I absolutely love Thaiboy's music, and this is in no way a criticism of it. I thought this would be something fun/funny to do seeing as I have no better way to spend my time atm.
So I was listening to Everlasting Flames with a friend the other day, and the question struck me- How often does Thaiboy really say "Thaiboy" throughout his discography? I always knew he said it a lot, but after going through Legendary Member and discovering that he says it on 11/12 of its songs (Baby being the only exception), I knew I needed to investigate further.
I tallied every one of his songs and features into a Google Sheet which you can find here. For sorting purposes, I put each one into one of three categories:
Songs, which are either solo songs or songs where Thaiboy is clearly the lead artist, such as songs off any of his albums. In retrospect, I should have called these "leads" or something like that but I got like halfway through and got too lazy to change them.
Features, which are songs Thaiboy is clearly a featured artist on. These usually ended up being Yung Lean/Bladee singles.
Collabs, which are songs either released on a collaborative project (Avp, D&G, or Trash Island) or singles where there is no clear "lead" artist such as "Butterfly" or "Visa."
Additionally, I put down the album for each song so that I could sort each song per album, and a memorable Thaiboy line for each song where he does in fact refer to himself in the third person in this way. I stuck to only using officially released songs, so ones like Al Pacino don't count even if they had a near-full Thaiboy verse. There are some pretty obscure ones out there but this process did in fact help me discover a few new Thaiboy songs and verses. For convenience's sake, I went through his discography on Genius to make these findings, so please let me know if I missed any songs or verses.
Without further ado, here's what I found:
Throughout his whole solo, collaborative, and feature discography, Thaiboy Digital says "Thaiboy" in reference to himself a total of 87/105 times, or 82.9%. On collaborative songs he seems to say it quite a bit less: only 16/24, or 66.7%. This is likely due to the length of many of his parts; on songs such as "You Lose," "Brokeboy," or "The Void," he has a very short or simple hook/verse. This is further evidenced by his parts o
... keep reading on reddit β‘Acquiring every full length, every 7β, every CD, and all the variations of each has been my goal since I first discovered the band in 2016, and Iβm now one vinyl away from that goal!
The Thrill of the Arts black vinyl reissue from 2017 (VULF2015R1) is what I need. If youβre one of the 1,400+ that purchased from Qrates back in 2017 Iβd love to talk to you about a purchase or trade! Iβd like to avoid the insane resale prices currently on Discogs if possible ;) Thanks!
Hi guys. At first, I wanted to say that I am not 100% sure if this post fully complies with the rules, because in fact it's a bit of self-promotion, but on the other hand it's more like "I scratch your back and you scratch mine", not promoting some product I'd want to sell. So, anyway, if mods decide that is not suitable to be here, I fully understand if it will be deleted.
I am making instrumental beats and my videographer friend keeps on telling me that I should put them into some soundbank like Airbit as it's often not that easy for videographers to get the right music they need for their videos. And even though I am really considering that possibility, at first, I wanted to try to offer my music for free as kind-of exchange service - you get free music for your video and my music gets to more ears ^^ Here is the playlist with all my beats if anybody is interested, free downloads included.
Also, as a musician, I'd like to get to know more how do videographers look for their videos, how important is for the music to be free (or how much do you pay for the music for your videos), or even if somebody has some other person to do the music especially for them... Tell me everything! ^^
the starbucks app is really shitty

I've read that using a name that ends with a similar sound to "no" will confuse the dog. Not sure if this is a myth or accurate. Also not sure if Luna applies to this rule of thumb. All help appreciated.
I just want to know what people are following this days. I am purely into Price Action myself. No Indicators at all.
Choose your options below. So what strategy you use for Intraday? a) Pure Price Action and no Indicators. b) Indicators like MA, RSI c) Mix of Price Action and Indicators. d) Opening Range Breakout. e) Telegram Calls. f) Others g) Nah I don't do Intraday. I am an Investor.
I've been thinking about this lately, and how some artists use their albums to tell a story.
I first thought of this when listening to "Brave New Girl" by Britney Spears, and thought it could've been a Glee montage when Rachel Berry gets to NY.
I feel like there could be a pretty cool movie/musical to Taylor Swift's albums, and definitely a lot of other artists. Probably would need a minimum of 10 songs, if not more for it truly tell a story based on the artists work.
Also, who you guys cast in this movie/musical?
Obviously the two bands have an overlap. I have a track or two i enjoy by NUFAN but anytime i try to just jump to a random song that i don't know it never seems to do it for me. Make me a fan. What is the best album/ and or song?
