A list of puns related to "Ninne Pelladata (1996 film)"
i treated the craft last night for the first time in years, and it has instantly become one of my new faves. consequently, i need more of this film genre. my favourite things about it were the overall aesthetic, the witch craft & the cast of female leads. if there are any films thatβs are similar or that you would recommend to fans of the craft (my other fave horrors are scream & carrie (76)) i would love to hear them. thank you!!
Say what you want about it but we had a brilliant cast in this new movie. Even Sam (tho not my fave) did a good job.
Horatio went home with his friend from college to his father's funeral, saw his friend's dad's ghost, and found himself deeply embroiled in a familial drama that makes arguing at Thanksgiving dinner look petty, watched these people die or go through some sort of hell, all the while his friend from college is maybe going absolutely insane even if he's justified in his cause. Also, his friend jumps into a woman's grave which is usually not super classy, but even still Horatio remains loyal. Then, in the end, his friend succeeded in his cause for revenge at the cost of his entire family, including his own life, and Horatio - who is pretty fucked up from this whole endeavor - is ready to take his own life as he would stand as the sole survivor of the worst family reunion in human history, and instead lives to tell the story of his friend to a foreign king. Imagine doing that for your roommate in college.
Jokes aside, I can't think of a better friend in any piece of content and my FAVORITE aspect of Hamlet is Horatio's loyalty to his friend, it's so incredibly warm and tender in a very painful story that doesn't have an abundance of tenderness. It sounds silly, but ever since I read/saw Hamlet in my senior year of high school in 2016, it's resonated deeply with me and I've tried to be a Horatio for my friends, so long as they aren't murdering their families. Had Horatio not been there with Hamlet, the plot would have never succeeded.
Nicholas Farrell really killed it. The 1996 film is easily my favorite version of Hamlet that's been put to screen, Nicholas Farrell is the definitive Horatio in my eyes.
TLDR: Horatio fans rise up
Platform(s): PC
Genre: Kids
Estimated year of release: 2000-2005
Graphics/art style: Very cartoony
Notable characters: I remember quasimodo and a bunch of disney characters
Notable gameplay mechanics: I think there's colouring where you can colour it using different brushes. I distinctly remember one of the brush being "magic brush" where if you use it, it colours according the actual colours of the scene. The pictures are all scenes from old 90s Disney animation films. There's also a game where you traverse a maze (I think as a Red Riding hood?) and the wolf is chasing you.
Other details: I got nothing else
Hi All
I wonder if anyone could help me with the fingering for the introduction to The Flight of the Bumblebee as played in the film Shine
In most versions of the introductory run, the pianist will use the left hand for the E's, presumably to free the hand up for a nicer fingering. But, in this version, he does the intro run (0:49 to 0:57) using only the right hand.
I'm aware this being a film it may well be over-dubbed, but my understanding is that Geoffrey Rush, an accomplished pianist himself, learnt to play this piece, and so interested in the fingering he uses.
Many thanks
Anyone like me and some friends i know remember miss honey being locked in the chokey as well by miss trunchbull at one point, not together but separate times, miss honey blindfolded and feeling the walls, and matilda had to let her out in time, after she wondered where is she, i seen that on TV originally about 1998, i have the VHS version and still got it and that bit is not on there, just matilda now that locked in the chokey.
Is it possible to have nostalgia for something you never had or saw? Brazilian, white male, 43. So I grew up in the 80s and 90s in the somewhat poorer area of the city of SΓ£o Paulo in what we call the suburbs. I saw this movie last week and now it is one of my favorite ones, Ice Cube and Chris Tucker are so endearing and they remind me so much of my childhood friends that I had the time of my life watching this, it felt so much like home - minus the guns, it is very uncommon/burocratic/expensive to own fire weapons in Brazil - and really I had the feeling I had seen this movie before, but I actually had never heard of it until then. Plus I grew up amongst black folk here, which is the majority of us so there is also that. Have you had a strong sense of nostalgia for something you had never seen? When you see it the first time.
