A list of puns related to "NewarkβTrenton Fast Line"
"After further examination of the Trenton ordinance noted yesterday, it was found they will be the sixth New Jersey city to allow cannabis lounges.
The five other cities to allow cannabis lounges are Atlantic City, Jersey City, Highland Park, Hoboken, and Newark."

Does anyone here make the commute from Newark (or close by) to Trenton for work? Is it possible to do the trip via rail? How reliable is it? Are there frequent closures during winter due to snow?

This weekend, I will be taking Amtrak to NJ for breakfast just to get a pork roll egg and cheese sandwich at a diner. I would prefer to walk from the station, either Trenton, Newark airport, or Newark-Penn (unless a much better place is just out of walking distance ~2 miles). Based on my research, Tops in Newark or Pat's Original in Trenton are at the top of my list. If anyone has other suggestions, please let me know.
Thanks!

Hi,
Iβll be traveling from Trenton to Washington DC next month and Iβll take the train.
Other than the more expensive Acela, a vast majority of trains operating between Trenton and DC is Northeast Regional, and some occasional Palmetto, Carolinan, Vermonter, Silver Star, and Silver Meteor.
Is there a big service difference between these lines? I only traveled by Amtrak twice on the entirety of Maple Leaf a couple years ago, and it had power outlets and seats that reclined a little bit.
Would you have a specific line recommendation or should my decision be completed based on times (the prices are same)? My hours are flexible.
Basically title. I work in the Trenton area, and my girlfriend works in Newark. Where's the best place to live so that my girlfriend doesn't have a hellish commute on parkway north/turnpike north every morning? We are currently in New Brunswick, which is the halfway point by mileage, but traffic on northbound roads is awful (avg 20-30mph) while traffic southbound is non-existent.
I work from home two or three times a week, so I am okay with it being further from Trenton than Newark.
My girlfriend's flight lands at Newark airport at 8:30 on a weekday. She wants to get to Philadelphia but there are no Amtraks out until 11:30 or so. Another option is to take NJT, but this involves switching trains at Trenton and -- having been through there a few times later at night -- it doesn't seem very safe for a lady alone there late at night (almost 11 pm). Am I wrong?
The alternative is getting the Amtrak straight here, getting in around 1. Not great, but probably safer. She's lived in cities for years and regularly travels internationally alone, she's nobody's fool, but...still.
I might also be mixing up the Amtrak and NJT stations - are they different? The Amtrak station I remember being quite dark and outdoors with not many people around.
Thanks!
I work in Trenton, willing to drive 50ish miles/60mins commute, gf works in Newark, trying to keep her drive under 30 mins. Any suggestions? Young professional looking for a nice, safe area with a decent main street/downtown.
I wanted a quick drink and a chips and cheese so I went through the Taco Bell drive thru, thinking it would be a simple and easy trip. Upon entering the drive thru line, I found myself behind a car that seemed to be taking longer than usual to order, but who cares. I was jamming to some Led Zeppelin and not really paying attention. After a few minutes, the car moves forward and I order. After I complete my order, I pull up behind the original car mentioned. OKAYβ¦ now the story begins. I watch the driver in front of me pay with a $100 bill, along with some $1βs and some change. I begin to realize the situation: giant order. After several minutes of watching the driver and employee banter back and forth, I begin to get upset that this is taking so long. I (not thinking anyone can hear me) yell out βWhat the F**K!?β The driver in front of me hears me me and starts yelling out her window that I am an impatient asshole and needs to shut the f*ck up. I yell out my window that she should be more considerate and NOT order $100 worth of Taco Bell in a drive thru. After 15 minutes of waiting in line, she finally got her order and as she pulled away, continued to berate me. Her order: 4 twelve packs of tacos, 3 other bags of who knows what and 4 slushies. AITA for being upset with someone for ordering over $100 of Taco Bell in the drive thru while Iβm waiting for my $3 order? Thank you!!
Hi. I'm not a native speaker and I'll get to the point. Can some one please tell me if the following line in TMSON has implications beyond its literal meaning?
@ 00:09:05, Junior says: And not Mexican dollars, either.
Is this just Junior failing at delivering a joke? Or does "Mexican dollars" imply anything bad, such as some drug or other illegal merchandise? Any suggestion would be appreciated.
