Bought a new construction about 3 yrs ago and this past winter noticed the cracks in the attached image. I’ve been monitoring them, they’re all mostly vertical but being a paranoid person and one who did not have good experience with the builder I’m looking for some opinions/feedback.

I am on a slab, the foundation wall only comes up about a foot or two, supports a split level, and appears to be 8-10”thick (guesstimate). I can confirm that the crack runs through to the other side where the other side is not buried by drywall, but does not appear to be allowing any water in.

I’m not sure how far into the ground the foundation goes, but if I pull the soil back a bit I can see the crack continuing. I am near wetlands, but I have gutters that move water away well enough and don’t notice puddling very close to house.

$20 - Asrock B550m ITX/AC that won't post: I used this board briefly, I just bought it about two months ago. It just stopped posting the other day. I believe it's still under Asrock's warranty, but I didn't want to deal with that right now as I'm super busy, so I just bought a different b550 itx board. Looking back on it, I bet simply reseating the CPU would've fixed the issue. Regardless, there might actually be nothing wrong with it. Just trying to avoid e-waste.

$10 - 5 Arctic P12 DC fans: I just bought these 5 fans from Micro Center a couple of weeks ago, I didn't end up needing them though. I lost the receipt however, so I can't return them. A couple of them are tapped, the rest are completely new.

Late last month my husband, who is only 32 but has a few risk factors (but not ones expressly listed as qualifying ones for earlier vaccine priority; one is a very rare genetic disorder that is obviously unlikely to be on any generalised lists), called our GP and enquired about the possibility of and means to being put on the priority list. The GP said it wasn't up to them and it sounded like he would have to jump through a lot of hoops or make a lot of enquiries, so he gave up not having the time and decided that he's young enough to be relatively safe anyway.

Well, fast-forward to this morning and what should pop through the door but a blue envelope from NHS Scotland. Thankfully, it seems his medical records were substantial enough or had the right keywords to get him on the priority list anyway!

We're so grateful to live in this beautiful country with its amazing healthcare service that tries its utmost to do right by everyone much as possible!

So I have been running a 1100 hash rate rig for a few days now. After much advice on Reddit, I made the move from windows to Hive OS.

Hive OS has a bit of a learning curve, but 0 crashes, less rejected shares, slightly better performance (NB miner, approx 0.5hh more in HiveOS per GPU) and so much better performance! Windows and MSI AB were a utter pain in the ass. I wasted weeks of my life tuning there. I did the same in Hive OS in about 1-2 hours.

Nicehash is awesome but windows is just a headache. MSI AB is great too, but to manage 13 GPUs it was a constant hassle.

For small rigs, ideally less than 3 GPUs you should be fine with Windows. Anything more than 4, if you go to Hive OS - take some time to tune it right and you will save SO MUCH TIME in the long run!

I've updated from version 3.0.5.6 to 3.0.6.5 and now Trex and GMinerCuda9.0+ doesn't work. It says error benchmark.

Yes I've checked my antivirus and my firewall settings and all is fine, someone else posted about this issue but there was no solution posted. Anyone else facing this?

I'm desperate to get Trex working again as its the most profitable for me.

I am looking for a SEASONIC 1000W platinum PSU but I can't find one.

Hi All,

Working on closing on a new construction in NH this coming week, and I just had a home inspection done. Most of it went well and the inspector actually commended the builder for going above and beyond on some utilities. However, there were Ice dams present on a majority of the roof and the inspector said this shouldn't happen.

The builder/agent is standing by the notion that they received a blower door test of 3.0, so there should not be anything wrong with the construction of the house. They are saying that due to the nature of the storm (snow, ice and freezing rain), this is why the ice dams were present and not because of improper ventilation/insulation. (the inspector is well known in the area and lives <5min away and said he had no ice dams on his house).

How should I proceed with this? I'm worried because even though there is a builder's 1yr warranty, there is a clause that says damage caused by Ice dams is specifically not covered. I want the builder to remove that clause, but I don't know if that is unreasonable.

How would you proceed if you are buying a house >$600k. Is this something worth walking away from the deal on?

I've updated one of my rigs to NiceHash 3.0.6.4 and am now unable to install either NanoMiner nor TRex plugins. When I click install it appears to do it, however the notification section in NH states that it did not install.

I've tried the following, none of them have changed behavior one bit:

• Manually updating the miner bin files
• Reinstalled NH, keeping data
• Clean reinstall NH
• Install from .zip to folder

Anyone else experiencing this since updating to 3.0.6.4?
