A list of puns related to "NB Power"

Has anyone been able to successfully set-up an account with Plastiq to pay NB Power bills using their credit card? When I get to the step of entering either the account name or number, I get a message saying "Your account number is incorrect or is not eligible for electronic delivery". Has anyone else been running into this issue? Thanks!
I've been consistently using Stryd power (wind version) to help pace my runs for about the last 2 months. I honestly could care less about distance and would rather the power be consistent as I do most of my intervals based on time. However, the utility of power seems to break down once the variable of different shoes is introduced.
This evening I did a run at a high school track (I have not measured its accuracy but it's synthetic and frequently used for large meets) and at the end I compared 3 different pairs on 3 different intervals. My aim was to try and target 320 watts, with about 3 minutes rest in between that included changing shoes, and see which were faster (this is the race pace power I have been training at around during training, 95% of the runs being in the New Balance pair.) The following are the shoes listed in the order that they were used for the intervals.
Interval #1 - New Balance Fuelcell Propel - 319 watts
Interval #2 - Nike Next% 2 - 308 watts
Interval #3 - Asics Metaspeed Sky - 324 watts
As you can see by the posted screenshot, it was difficult to target the 320 watts across all 3 shoes. Like, really difficult. RPE for the New Balance was about a 7/10, about in line with what I'd been training at. This was expected since they're the go-to training shoes. RPE for the Next% was a 9.5/10, it felt much harder than 320 watts normally feels and I struggled to hold the power consistently. RPE for the Asics was about a 5/10, however, the watts were the highest and I struggled to keep the power down. HR was also the lowest and I covered the shortest distance on the track for the given interval out of all 3 shoes.
I just wanted to post my experience, I'm not really sure what advice can be given if the calibration feature only has an effect on distance/pace and now power? If the measured power in the Nike's and Asic's (my racing shoes) varies so much from my everyday training shoes then how can I expect to reliably use the power metric for pacing in both training and racing? This issue definitely leaves me wanting to experiment with other methodologies to help regulate my training/racing intensity.
I Have a couple questions about NB power and contractors in New Brunswick
If anyone has the printed circuit board for the motor, or maybe a whole unit lying around please lmk, Iβm leaving to go to airforce basic training soon, december 8th actually, and I really want to replace it before then π
Bought an EV and NB POWER was offering an up to $750 credit for a type 2 charger and installation. The first charger we bought wasn't on their list, which was fine as we didn't realize there was a list, so we were able to return it for a full refund. Sent the receipt to them for the new charger from their approved list of chargers but then NB Power replied that I had to provide proof of installation before rebate could be issued, which we did. Then NB POWER denied the charger as not approved because it wasn't a Wi-fi enabled unit?. The unit I picked was the first of two models by the same manufacturer from the "approved" list that NB POWER sent us via email!. Their excuse was it was to compare the EVSE model that we bought to the IVSE wifi model, which was the unit under the default linked charger. The kick in the face was NB Power had the receipt and model # of our charger prior to them telling us to have it installed before declining us for a linked charger that they sent from an approved list?... Did NB POWER have no intention of honouring their program pick right from the start?. Their is nothing stated that my purchase was not qualified on that linked list to Amazon, and if there is we still don't see it. Their response was indifferent and cold and put the blame on us for picking the wrong charger!, So why NB POWER in your infinite wisdom would you put it on the list?, maybe because my identical model, sans the wifi, couldn't be used by you to see my charging habits to use for your carbon credits maybe???.... What a con!. Hopefully this helps someone else!.
Hey all,
If you donβt feel like reading, basically I filled out the NB Power rebate forms, had issues getting my vehicle registration at the dealership (which was needed for the rebate). Finally got the registration on time, submitted everything to NB power and got my rebate. The end.
If you want all the details⦠see below. And feel free to ask questions if you like.
Pre-July 30th: I read everything I could about the IZEV program (Federal EV Rebate) and the NB / NB Power rebate.
July 30: Purchased / Picked up the car, a 2021 Hyundai Kona at the dealership. The dealership processes the IZEV Federal rebate, so nothing for me to do there. They also give me a temporary sticker and said Iβd soon be contacted for my plates and registration. I drove offβ¦ zoom.
July 30: I visit the NB Power site and the forms for the provincial rebate are easy-peasy, but I realize that I canβt submit until I have my vehicle registration. And I need to submit all forms WITHIN 30 DAYS FROM PURCHASE (SO THAT MEANS BEFORE AUG 30). https://www.nbpower.com/NBPForms/EVRebate.aspx?lang=en
Aug. 17: Still did not receive my registration or plates. Start to worry as I only had 13 days left to submit the refund request. Called NB Power and the customer service rep advised that: "Just fill out the forms you can, submit and we'll get back to you." I wasnβt reassured by this but I did what they asked.
Aug. 18: Submitted all forms MINUS the missing registration. I wanted to make sure theyβd have them so I sent them both via email and via their website (probably overkill).
Aug. 18 β 24: Contacted my dealership almost daily asking about my registration and plates. Got the run around, unreturned calls, etc. (sadly this is normal I think) I explained why my registration was so important and that $5000 was pending on it. They were OK, tried to empathize but blamed Service NB, who were actually too busy. Kinda like beating a dead horse.
Aug 19: Called NB Power again to see what would happen if submitted my registration past the 30 day deadline. A different CSP said the same thing. I kindly asked for a supervisor. They put me on hold for a while, then said they spoke to a supervisor on the βrebate teamβ, who confirmed they saw my forms, everything looks fine and βmost likelyβ it is OK if I submit my registration over 30 days mark. She also says the supervisor from that team will call me back in 24 hours (N
... keep reading on reddit β‘Does anyone have experience with NB Power ordering them to make changes to their meter? I've owned my house for 9 years without issue and now within the past year I have had 3 instances where either a meter reader or a linesman files a report saying I need to move my meter. Each time I've contacted NB Power to send an inspector out to verify and each time the inspector tells me my meter is to code. Today I got another email saying a meter technician has been by my house and reported the meter and sure enough I'm going to have to go through this whole process again.
Is there a number to call or perhaps a physical office I can go to register a complaint? Because at this point it's basically harrassment and a massive waste of my time.
Hey guys
since reassembling my car after the projects this winter, my power steering is not working anymore. I have no clue what the cause for this could be.
The pump was changed for another one, still no action.
The steering rack itself was changed, no effect.
The overflow container and the lines were checked, if anything is blocking oil flow.
Oil itself was checked also, and the system was bled.
When the pump was swapped again with a third one, it worked again.
But the next day, again no functional power steering.
Have you had any similar issues with the ps? Anything else then the pump or leakages, because both isn't the case with my car?
Really interested in some feedback from you guys, thank you upfront for your support!
I recently had to get the hydraulic clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder replaced. After the replacement, The first gear and the reverse gear have become very smooth and catch on very easily. I don't have to rev it up so as to not stall. However, I feel that the car has lost a bit of zippiness and power. The feel of the clutch that I was used to for the past few years has changed so driving the car also feels a bit different. Or am I thinking too much into what's happening?

I own a 2003 NB 5 Speed LS. Bought it with 24000 miles. Never given me any mechanical problems. I purchased an OBD device to measure 0-60 times. I am launching at 5000 rpm and banging through the 5 Speed as fast as I can. 0-60 is consistently at 11.4 seconds. Shouldnt this model year be around 7.8 seconds? Is this operator error or is something off here?
