A list of puns related to "Moog Music"
Got my Moog Subharmonicon, Dreadbox Komorebi Analog chorus/flanger pedal, and OBNE Expression ramper up on the trading block. Iβm mostly interested in synths but down for cool pedals too. Iβd like to trade the Moog and the Dreadbox pedal as a combo, but Iβd do them separately for the right offer.
UPDATE 28/08/21: Hey everyone! I know I went quiet for about a month there, as I'm not a frequent reddit user, but I wanted to say thank you all so much for your comments and advice! I ended up getting the subharmonicon and couldn't be happier, such a beautiful machine! Have a great day everyone :)

Hi everyone! I'm about to purchase a Moog Mother 32 as my first entry into the world of modular synthesis.Just wondering if anyone has used it to make droning ambient music as opposed to more rhythmic, sequencer-driven sounds, and if so, if you thought it was good! My main ambitions are to use it for drone and generative music. Thanks in advance :)
Music being defined as something which is recorded and that other people like to listen to. Discuss.
There's just something about Moog synths that other synths don't seem to have in the oscillator circuit and ladder filter. It's hard to define but I've heard others say they feel like they are in the feedback loop of the instrument. I have both a MiniMoog Model D (1974) and a newer Voyager RME. The voyager not so much compared to my Mini. For me some of the new filter features on the voyager make it less of a desirable filter compared to the mini.
I've been enjoying jamming with an archive of NUFORC phone calls from the 70's and 80's. Some really great dramatics in the peoples voices as they tell the story of what they saw.
Just bought a Mother-32 and Subharmonicon a few days ago. My mind is still melting as I learn to use these things, but I finally made 80 seconds of something that sounds vaguely musical. :-)

I simply recorded the SH and M-32 into separate Ableton Live Tracks, and added a simple beat.
Based on other reddit threads, though I did something cool. Iwas able to record realtime changes to the M-32 melody's filter during recording by by sending CC4 from an external-midi-knob, then into Abelton, then into Mother-32 --> Assignable output --> VCF Cutoff input. So when I play back the MIDI clip in Ableton, all the filter changes are preserved.
